Modern hotel. The room is modern and comfortable. We had the room with direct access to the pool. Location is good and only a short walk to the beach. The restaurant is good as well. To order anything you have to use the hotel app on your phone. Very friendly people at the reception.

The pool is a joke. Not deep enough for a good swim. The water only comes up to your waist.

The staff was incredibly thoughtful and kind. Beyond the regular greeting every time I encountered staff, they remembered me and things I had requested previously like cinnamon in my morning coffee. I was so glad the woman at check in suggested we add breakfast package and it got our mornings off to a great start. This hotel's location is great and secluded from the party side of town which when we traveled there, I was more appreciative of where we were staying.

It is not the fanciest hotel, but for the value, I really liked it. If you want to spend 5 times more money for a prettier hotel room you will only sleep in, you can find plenty in the area that charge way more for a fancy lobby.

Our recent seven-night stay at Outrigger Surin exceeded all expectations, from the moment we arrived until the day of departure. They even recommended and helped us download their convenient app, which made our overall experience even more seamless and convenient. The rooms were spacious and provided a comfortable retreat for our family. The beds were exceptionally cozy, guaranteeing a good night's sleep for all. Throughout our stay, the housekeeping team maintained impeccable cleanliness, making us feel at ease and ensuring a pleasant environment for our family. One incident truly highlighted the exceptional care provided by the staff. On the last day of our stay, our son fell ill unexpectedly. The staff went above and beyond, guiding us in booking a hospital appointment and arranging a taxi to get us there promptly. Additionally, they kindly checked in on us, showing genuine concern for our well-being during a challenging time. Their support and assistance were immeasurable, relieving much of our stress. Upon departure, the entire staff came to say goodbye, adding a personal touch that left a lasting impression on our family. It was heartwarming to see their dedication and genuine care, making us feel like valued guests and part of the Outrigger Surin family. Everything was perfect!

The service at this hotel was exceptional. Always friendly and willing to accomodate your every need. It’s very boutique and if you’re looking for some more liveliness then perhaps this isn’t your hotel or area. Surin beach is for chill, swim, reading books etc (basically recharge)and you can certainly do those things at Outrigger Surin. Special shout out to Ao and Matt who I dealt with mainly on reception. What amazingly friendly people you are!

Not much to be picky here. As I said it is a pretty quiet area so if you’re looking for vibes you’ll need to walk/taxi to Bang Tao beach about 2km north. A few day clubs there (carpe diem, the lazy coconut and catch). In my opinion the beach at Surin is much nicer and cleaner than Bang Tao.

Beautiful small boutique resort, we were also able to secure a last minute upgrade to a plunge pool suite which was very comfortable and private.

There was a lot of maintenance work happening in the front lobby area which was a bit noisy.

the hotel is very nice, it has a gym and two pools. the restaurant is very nice too. The staff is super friendly, they take care of your luggage from the moment you leave the car. They always try to help you. Hotel design is very nice and relaxing. Location is amazing - perfect for relax. The beach is 1min walk from the hotel, there's many restaurants and food stalls. There's also many restaurants next to the hotel, but do not expect party place, everything closes at 22h. Still, it was perfect for us. Beautiful huge beach, not super busy, great food and massage places within 10min walk. 7/11 5min walk from the hotel. Hotel has a great app for contacting the staff and i.e. booking extra activities.

We were not aware about no elevator to our room on the 2nd floor (staff helps you with your luggage, but be aware if you book it and you don't want to walk 4 flights of stairs). Breakfast is nice, but could be better (more variety) - no cheese, you have to ask for bacon, apart from buffet, there's set of 3 special dishes, but it's 3 same dishes all the time of our stay. Room service is available only until 9.30pm. Housekeeping could be better with stocking up on bathroom stuff - thing like toilet paper of bath towels were not provided after room has been cleaned. We had to ask for it via the hotel app and it arrived within 5min. Small thing more - water and wine glasses provided in the room are plastic - which is not good look for a 5* hotel.

1. The design of the hotel and the room is amazing. love the interior design. 2. The app to request for amenities and other things is just brilliant. loved it! 3. Unlimited drinking water at all times. 4. The bathroom size is good. a lot of space and just the right amount of lighting. 5. view from our balcony, especially every morning. i loved to wake up to birdsong and just look at the beautiful pool. 6. The pools (they have 2) are almost always empty and not noisy. 7. I personally liked the mostly vegetarian buffet breakfast. it had limited selection but whatever was there was great. 8. the staff are very friendly and responsive. everyone at the property is nice and cooperative. 9. great little fitness gym.

1. we had a minor electrocution incident in our room while trying to plug in a charger into one of the sockets. we let reception know and they called in a technician to check it out. 2. the tea, coffee and hot chocolate at breakfast weren’t great. 3. AC is a little noisy at night.

Extremely friendly staff who was was attentive to our every need. A special mention to apple our waitress who was friendly and hard working ensuring our stay was the best it could be. Also, Juice who had the most friendliest smile. Also Guide, the manager who was informative about the area and answered our every need. The location is superb and an easy walk to the beach and Main Street.

Unfortunately there was maintenance being done and there was a drilling noise to be heard in the restaurant and pool. Although, the waitresses stopped them when we were eating. I wish we knew of this before we booked

Friendly staff. Great room. Quiet, with few children during our stay. Easy access to taxis, shops and restaurants.

The beds are awesome. Rooms are very spacious, clean and well presented. Bottled water in rooms, slippers, robes, fluffy beach towels all make for a super vacation. The staff are all really friendly and want to go the extra mile. The beach is the best in Phuket.

The downsides are that the hotel isn't on the biggest plot of land and therefore the pool(s) aren't very big and the main pool doesn't get too much sun. The aircon in the gym needs sorting out. There was construction work happening but to be honest it didn't cause us too many problems apart from the cement mixer turning up at breakfast and being very loud.
