View and location to the beach! Surin Beach is relatively uncrowded, clean and safe. Plenty of local restaurants along the beach. The rooftop pool was wonderful ( however see below). Staff were very friendly and helpful( some things a little lost in translation as not much English spoken but that’s one of the fun cultural aspects of travel!) Breakfast buffet style was provided in our rate— good quality but geared a bit more to the Asian diet ( e.g fried rice, stir fries, curry, salads etc) but toast, jams, coffee, tea, eggs were available.

The steps leading to beach are steep however and could benefit from sturdier handrails and some solar lights for access in the evening. While we understand the hotel was not built long ago it could do with some cosmetic touches e.g. cushions on balcony chairs, a mattress for the concrete ledge (day bed?) on balcony, attention to maintenance on poolside lounges and umbrellas, hand towels in bathrooms (only 1 towel & 1 pool towel per person provided)

The view and location were perfect! The facilities and room were clean, towels and beach towels as well as toiletries were provided. The breakfast was nice ned pretty big portions too plus a buffet. The staff was exceptional as we had a medical emergency and the staff was very helpful helping us organising help.

You won’t get a good night sleep. The AC didn’t really cool the room and was super loud. Adding to the noise was the AC unit just outside the bathroom window which was only divided by a wooden shutter so you hear the unit very loud all night long. Additionally, because of the bathroom window is not an actual glass but just a wooden shutter, we were getting lizard visitors - they nearly caused as a heart attack every time we went to the bathroom as you never know where are they hiding and they do run very fast and jump.

The hotel very kindly upgraded us to a room on level 3 which had access to an infinity pool from its balcony. The views across the beach and the bay were stunning, even in the rain. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel staff were excellent.

The bathroom was very narrow in parts so not practical for two people to be in there at once, although there was a jacuzzi bath in the main part of the room. The hotel is well located but be aware that you have to walk on the road for a short distance when you leave the hotel before you reach a raised foot path to head into town, so something to consider if you have children.

Stunning view from nice sized room with balcony over ocean and beach. The location was a relaxing beach experience with very friendly honest people even to the point we left a backpack at khun gaa seafood thai restaurant 7min walk (great food) and they chased us on a motorbike to return. It was a terrible stormy evening we arrived and the hotel has no restaurant except breakfast, Janet at reception was fantastic and organised a restaurant to come pick us up and take us home. Janet was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Surin Beach is a lovely low key beach. The rooftop pool was fantastic. Breakfast was great

That there wasn't an option to eat a meal in the evening. The 7min walk into main area is either along a main road or had to walk across rocks down to beach.

The steps from the Hotel down onto the beach were very hazardous and work was being done so they were always wet and inadequate lighting of a nighttime not suitable for elderly or disabled guests.

Booking this hotel was best decision we made in Phuket! The location is dreamy. We slept every night with the sounds of the waves crashing. The views of the sea both from the bedroom and from the shower was priceless. We would walk down every day to Surin Beach which is a gorgeous beach, not too crowded, and where you can find so many casual restaurants and food stalls. We loved using their gym and their rooftop pool (incredible views from there too!). The staff was super nice and arranged to book a motor bike for us.

Surin Beach is located in a quiet area of Phuket. You need to have your own transportation if you want to see more of Phuket. We rented a motorbike and loved roaming around the island. As for the room itself, just know that the A/C is noisy as hell. This was the only drawback for us. Hopefully they change or fix them soon.

Very nice room with amazing view on the sea. The location was perfect, it's probably the only hotel in Surin that's on the beach, so if I go back to surin it will definitely be there! The room was very clean, bed comfortable, small but very nice bathroom. Nice staff. There was even a fan on the ceiling, which was awesome, so you don't need to use the AC all the time. Breathtaking views from the pool on the rooftop. Clean shower and toilet on the rooftop too.

The pool on the rooftop was a bit cloudy, I asked about it, but had a vague answer. They could be more transparent about the state of the pool (some hotels post the date of last check up, ph and chlorine levels, it's just reassuring to know it's regularly checked, because in this hotel, the pool water is specially warm and thus more prone to troubles). The little stairs/pathway to the beach is being refurbished, but right now it's very smelly, feels like the sewage water is passing there... Anyway even with those downsides the hotel is really worth it.

i was in heaven for a day and i wished it lasts forever the view for beach is amazing worth every pound the stuff super helpful with smile on their face always the room is very clean the ac and decoration is amazing the pool on roof is the best i will come again and again ... will be my always choice in phuket

- The best was the view of the sea from the room, was amazing to wake up (and even shower) in front of the beautiful Surin beach !! - The staff was very nice and helpful - The direct access to the beach from the hotel - The restaurant on the beach directly down to the hotel was really nice and practical

- The location is not that practical as expected if you don't have a scooter to go around. Only a big road passing by the hotel which is not walkable, so difficult to reach 7 eleven without transport. (or need to walk down to beach and then walk 20 minutes to first shops and restaurants) - Breakfast was low quality, did not pursue after 1st day. - Powercut during one evening took more than 30 minutes to fix - Equipment is good in general but some items in the bathroom were rusty

The view from room is spectacular! Upstairs is large infinity pool. Large and comfortable bed. Loved the beach restaurant.

The hotel doesn't have their own beach, but the actual beach is really close by. Sadly there isn't any sidewalks. There is always constant noise in the room that is caused by a/c (which also isn't working properly). Bathroom looks kinda old and tired and doesn't really fit with the whole room vibe.
