oasis is a good description - you can really relax and forget your just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Bodrum town as it’s very tranquil and charming. The rooms, pool, hot tub, breakfast, staff, facilities in general are all very good. Wasnt important to me but the WiFi was also pretty fast and reliable both in the room and by the pool. Its a short walk into Bodrum town which has plenty going on but if you want to explore further has good parking for a hire car (or the main bus/dolmas hub is a few minutes walk away). I’m an animal lover so was nice to have Kiki the dog and a few cats around the pool area but if that’s not your thing I wouldn’t worry as they seem much more interested in sleeping most of the day.

Being very picky the private beach area isn’t cheap - €45 p/p (€15 transfer, €30 at the beach which as I understand is effectively a minimum spend) so for a family of three or four it’s quite a hit just for a day out. I can’t say if it’s really worth it as we decided to hire a car (to explore the area in general)and went to one of the local (free) public beach’s (Bodrum Yali) which gets my seal of approval as was quiet, clean and had some of the best prices you can find - €1 for a sunbed and umbrella for the day, a very big lunch not inc alcohol for €10 a head. Can’t criticise the hotel too much as is a town Center hotel with an offer of being able to go to the beach - not a beach hotel, I just think it was a bit overpriced.

We loved staying here! The pool and gardens are beautiful (and heated outdoor jacuzzi amongst trees); the staff are so friendly and helpful (in particular Denis and Sue); nice spacious rooms with really comfy beds; and a delicious breakfast. The staff had thought of everything you could want and the complimentary afternoon tea was delicious. We also really enjoyed a drink on the roof terrace each night and had an excellent massage there (extra charge). I personally also likes the feline neighbours roaming around the pool and gardens

Although the hotel is next to the road, there was no sound of the cars. Its atmosphere, pool, and morning breakfasts were fantastic. Air-conditioning and room service were all working fine according to our experience. There were lots of cats and dogs around but they were not bothering anyone. Also, the staff was very helpful and try their best for helping us

The restaurant part of the hotel and their drinks were weak. It has got a great city and sea view but the food was average during our stay. I ordered Whisky sour but only whisky with lemon juice arrived (no syrup or egg white). Then, I tried their house wine (trusting to the name of the hotel) but it was watered down and warm... At the end of the day, we drink cola and watch the terrace view of the hotel. I'm sorry, but their Turkish coffee was also not recommended. If you are scared of domestic cats and dogs, beware of this hotel.

The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. The grounds are full of beautiful flowers and plants, which are lovingly looked after. The restaurant serves very nice food.

While very clean, the overall feel of the place is a bit dated. We stayed in the higher category room, but the bathroom was tiny. The walk down to the port is not too long, about 20 minutes, but we dreaded it after two times - quite dirty and unattractive. On the other hand - it depends on what you are looking for. The place has a nice personal touch in everything, a pleasant (though quite geriatric) pool area, and an overall sense of normality versus the hustle of Bodrum itself.

The property is an oasis of tranquility in Bodrum, flowering trees and bushes are to be seen everywhere in the grounds and surrounding both the roof pool and ground floor pool. The room (seaview with balcony) was great and comfortable. Very clean. Nice shower and good overall shower room/toilet. The staff were very helpful and responded quickly. Excellent and very large choice of breakfast foods. Good restaurant with great views over Bodrum.

This is not a dislike but for travellers who have a phobia of stairs make sure you request or book a garden or ground floor room. The hotel is terraced and has a lot of staircases but no elevators. The restaurant has a good variety of vegetarian starters but limited choice of vegetarian main courses.

All rooms are arranged around the pool and courtyard. Our room only have front door and it felt a bit difficult to keep well ventilated. The place is very quiet and relaxing in a very peaceful part of the town. About 15 minutes uphill walk from the sea front. We liked staying there for a bit of peace and rest. The furniture may feel a bit outdated but it felt just okay. Lovely cats around the place always ready to interact and play with us. We loved all Turkish cats! The breakfast is very well stocked with plenty of options and some homemade products that tasted delicious.

Upon arrival, we knew that we were going to like the place. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the room cozy and inviting. The whole place is designed for comfort both visually and physically. The breakfast was very generous too. The hotel’s location has a nice view on the rooftop, which hosts a restaurant as well with good food. Walking to the marina or the castle is enjoyable and takes 15 to 20 minutes based on which road taken. If too hot, we used to leave later than normal and spend the mornings and afternoons on the pool which was a great way to also relax.

Internet was sometimes not working. They were few times only though

Location was very convenient for us who arrived by car. Hotel offers parking. It was a 15 min walk downhill to the center of town. Very quiet at night, no noise of any kind. Breakfast was outstanding. Personnel could not have been more helpful and service minded going out of their way for us. Everyone speaks English. On day of departure they were ready at 5.45 AM to pick up our suitcases! The rooftop restaurant was very romantic, exceptional views. Very good cuisine!

There is nothing we can think of.

El Vino is an oasis. The design of building, pool and gardens is soothing and inviting. Staff are welcoming and professional. Breakfast was extraordinary 😋 Restaurant is exquisite with a fabulous view. So good was it, we ate there for our entire stay. Lovley white sheets a d plenty of towels each day. Congratulations amd a very big thanks to the excellent owners, fantastic managers and staff. We will definitely be back!

Beds could have been softer. Bathroom could have been more spacious with access to put things.

Our expectations were exceeded. The website photos don’t do the space justice. The garden setting within the city is amazing, a little oasis. The hotel is situated a short, pleasant 15-20 minute walk from the marina. The wait staff is very friendly. There was a nice variety of food served at breakfast.

Nothing could have improved our stay. The call to prayer is very loud early in the morning, but this would be the same anywhere in the city.
