The hospitality is excellent. The dealing of staffs, Sam and Matt very polite calm, hardworking and genuine young men. Always available. Always happy to help with anything and everything. The stay ws memorable and stress free because of them. Hotel is at the heart of the city most restaurants easily accessible . Spacious clean cave rooms. Everything was simply perfect. The hotel itself is very nice. Well maintained, plenty of flowers that makes everything even more romantic. The view of Göreme from the various balcony they have, is just breathtaking. Also, in a very good location, out from the crowd but still near to the central area. We stayed in a double room with private balcony. Very spacious and comfortable. The staff was so sweet, everyone is working hard to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay with them. The breakfast is delicious. Everything cooked at the moment and very tasty. We didn't have space on our table as they brought us so many good things but we finished everything as it was absolutely yummy. The staff was constantly checking if we were missing anything and they gave us more food when we asked. We recommend this hotel to everyone. Good price compared to any other in the area and surely the best one! We will definitely come back!! Fantastic stay!

Great hospitality and great location, it's near the centrum and also have a parking lot in front of the hotel. We are in the top floor room, so we have a great view with balloons in the private terrace. The room itself is quite big, with 2 queen beds and a bathtub in the bathroom. They serve amenities and slippers. The heaters are working well, so the temperature of the room is comfortable.

We need to climb the stairs to our room but thankfully the staff help us with our luggage. The terrace is not as in the photos with the carpets and everything just the rattan table and chairs.

The location was perfect, close to everything. Literally less than 1 min away from the entrance where you can go up a hill to sunrise/sunset view point. The room we stayed in was nicely decorated. The terraces have comfortable furniture and great view. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Sam, who helped us a lot and provided very useful information. We wanted to thank Sam on the day we took off, but unfortunately that day was a national holiday and Sam was not in the office. Overall a very pleasant stay. Will definitely stay there again if I ever get another chance to visit Goreme.

It would be better if the bathtub had a shower curtain. The water got out on the bathroom floor, and took very long to dry up.

The location is wonderful! We booked the room with the terrace and the view is perfect to see the air balloon in the morning. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I would like to thank to Sam, who answered many questions before I arrived at the hotel, and he helped me to book the van, the air balloon, etc, which were at better prices than I've viewed online. My wife, two sons and I had a wonderful time in Goreme town, and the hotel is the best point in our memory. Thanks again to Sam! You made our vacation unforgettable.

The staff made the difference, in particular Sem who provides the best assistance and attention you could expect, before, during and after my stay. More than a concierge and manager for booking tours, he acts like a friend, giving many advises I would never expect. Always nice with prompt response via WhatsApp. The property is well located, close to Goreme viewpoint and to many restaurants and shops.

The only negative point is the shower. The water goes out of the box to the bathroom, leaving the floor wet and slippery.

Asteria is a lovely hotel located within walking distance to most restaurants and shops in the centre of Goreme, without being too close to the hustle and bustle. Sam was responsive and helpful with organising our tours and pick ups as soon as we'd booked. While we were there, the hospitality of the family run hotel was warm and welcoming. The tours and the balloon ride were as good as Sam promised. He also pointed us to an amazing walk in the Cappadocia valleys for our last day there.

Nothing major. We really had everything we needed. We're not big cheese eaters and the Anatolian breakfast is big on cheese. But the staff were very helpful with making a few adjustments when requested.

Location, fabulous views over the vally and town to see sunrise balloons, cave accommodation experience, spacious and walk into main street of town.

Stairs up to the top level in the heat, but worth it for the Sunrise view. Breakfast was outside undercover, uncomfortable out of the shady spots in the heat, but a great breakfast offered. We were not able to have breakfast brought up to our room to enjoy view at breakfast off the balcony given we had to eat outside anyway. Perhaps offer guests can bring their own tray for Breakfast up and down if prefer to stay and eat where their is the room with a view.

We were looking for a rustic cave hotel, and this hotel more than delivered. It was like being a guest in someone's family compound, down to the newborn puppies snuffling around the breakfast patio (obviously this is not going to happen for every stay!). The sunset views were spectacular, and on two mornings the hot air balloons floated by very close to the hotel at eye level. The hot air balloon ride arranged by the hotel was also fabulous. Breakfast each morning was great, with freshly cooked eggs (different style each morning) and a variety of cheeses, breads and spreads. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the bathrooms more modern than I expected, with effective fans for ventilation. Each room had a sitting area, and there were several furnished balconies. Wifi in the outdoor areas was good.

The rooms were somewhat stuffy, especially the ones without windows (this is a cave hotel, after all). Turning on the bathroom fans helped. The sheets were worn and past ready for replacement, and the mattresses harder than I would like. The towels were very nice, so hopefully the hotel is in the process of upgrading the linens and will get to the sheets next. Wifi in the rooms was poor; there appeared to be an ethernet port at the desk, though (we didn't have a cable with us so couldn't test it). The hotel is fairly high the hill - hence the beautiful views - but that does mean a steep climb at the end of the day.

Great location, hospitable staff, aesthetic and clean. Definitely wake up at sunrise to see the balloons, and very nice location to walk to the city center. Great balconies for all the rooms as well, and great value for money. Capadoccia as a city is extremely overpriced in itself, so this was in line with that, but overall worth the price.

Staff were a bit slow on acting on stuff, so expect some waiting, and breakfast was a bit delayed everyday (although it tasted fantastic). Nothing that would deter me from revisiting though.
