I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional hospitality and warm welcome I received at Göreme Hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was treated as a precious guest and felt like part of the family. The owner, Okan, went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and memorable. The family atmosphere at the hotel was truly delightful, and I thoroughly enjoyed engaging in conversations with Okan's interesting father. The food prepared by Okan's mother was absolutely delicious, and it added a special touch to my overall experience. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The shower room was bright and neat, which further added to the pleasant experience. Additionally, I am grateful to Okan for offering me affordable Cappadocia tours. The prices were much cheaper than what I had found online prior to my arrival, and the tours were exceptional, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the beauty of the region. I would also like to express my gratitude for the kindness and generosity shown by Okan. When I mistakenly paid the airport transfer guy less, Okan personally covered the remaining amount after I had left for Istanbul. This act of kindness truly touched my heart and showcases the amazing people at Göreme Hotel. I highly recommend Göreme Hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia. This place felt like my home away from home. It was absolutely beautiful, I enjoyed the best breakfast everrrrr every morning on the beautiful terrace overlooking Göreme and Okan and his family were the most hospitable and warm-hearted people. During my stay I was upgraded to a fancier room with a king size bed and enjoyed my last days feeling like inside a fairytale. I love everything about this amazing place and will always come back here and recommend it to my friends!

Our stay in Goreme House was simply amazing. Firstly the décore is so authentique and fit perfectly in the paysage. It is perfectly located for all visits in Cappadocia, right in the middle of Goreme. Hotel Manager Okan Sahin is the best. We drove for 10 days and stayed in many hotels but haven’t met anyone like him. As he knew we were driving, firstly, he saved us a parking space and secondly, suggested not to book additional tours and planned our daily trips himself! He told us which places to visit and on which days, with the best route to each of them. We ended up visiting more than 10 places of attractions in just two days thanks to his planning. On the third day, he gave us a free ride to the starting point of the pigeon valley hike, so that we could hike back to the hotel. Most importantly, he helped us book the best balloon flight (the balloon rides going up and down the valleys are much better than just going up and down at one spot. Choose well!), at the best price(we didn’t find similar prices anywhere else). Thanks to him, we didn’t have to worry about booking balloon flights. The hotel is very clean, with daily housekeeping. Housekeeping even folded the clothes that we left on the bed. Very nice and helpful staffs. They do the little things that make your trip better.

The breakfast was incredible, prepared by the lovely warm and hospitable Fatima. Every morning there was a new item on the menu. A two minute walk down the hill and you were at the top of the main street. Plenty of shopping in the main street, and close to all the ATM's and bus station. A lovely restaurant just on the corner with reasonable prices, and a mosque just across the road. Eat at Chef Kebaab in the main road. Rooms were tiny but comfortable. The shower was spacious. The property had loads of character, but definitely not a "cave" hotel

The road leading to the hotel is a dirt road. You can definitely not haul your luggage down it, as it will not survive. We got a transfer to take us 450m from the hotel to the bus station

Authentic national style, pretty decorated, well maintained, and elegant! Convenient location, close to all things that tourists need and like. All staff went above and beyond, creating a comfortable stay for us. Thank you, Okan, for booking a tour for us as well as transfer from and back to aeroport! Thank you for the early breakfast on our departure day! We felt at home and a part of family!

For older couple, we prefer more light in the room.

Everything was so perfect about our stay, I highly recommend this place, the room was so clean, cosy, and warm, the bed was so comfortable as well. We got a delicious turkish breakfast, with variant plates every day. The terrace gives you an amazing view to watch the balloon rides at sunrise! Plus the hotel is 5mins away from the top of the mountain Where everyone goes to watch both sunsets and sunrises (Sunset/Sunrise/Balloons View point Gün Batımı ve Doğumu / Balon Seyir Noktası). Both the staff and the manager were so helpful, they made to find a balloon ride for us even so we haven’t booked before, plus they helped us a lot to find tours, airbus shuttles, and a lot of tips and recommendations!!

I love everything! The staff is very respectful, friendly and helpful, the entire Okan family and 100 points. The place was very quiet, I was able to sleep very well! The hotel is just as the photos show, the breakfast is spectacular. It is very close to the viewpoint, less than a 5-minute walk. Very well located, restaurants and points of interest, everything super close, it is a very good choice, you can also see the balloons very well from the terrace.

All it was okay

Our group of 2 couples had a fantastic 4 night stay at Goreme House Hotel. The location is ideal and Okan and his family went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. The rooms were lovely and spacious and we had a lovely breakfast every morning. The terrace in the hotel is perfectly situated to view the hot air balloons at sunrise. Overall we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay In Goreme.

The owners were exceptional in accommodating all our needs and even went out off the way to assist when our vehicle had an issue. Breakfast was good and Goreme House is highly recommended. We will definitely revisit should we be in Goreme again. I already miss Toffee the 🐕

Excellent experience! Very friendly and helpful owners, we felt very much at home during our stay. Incredible, huge breakfast, very fresh and a lot of variety, with a great view. The rooms were beautiful and well equipped. We have been to Göreme in winter, but due to the heating the room was very warm and cosy. The location was perfect, close to the center but very quiet. The owner was very helpful and managed to organize a new shuttle when our flight was redirected to another city on short notice. Thank you to the whole Göreme House Team!
