THE BEST HOTEL IN GOREME CAPPADOCIA!!! Our experience staying in this hotel is impeccable. The owner (Ahmed) and his colleagues (Han, Hanafi, Ohmed, Betty) are simply the best in hospitality. We felt like a home staying at Arif Cave Hotel. The interior of our room is extraordinary - best cave room experience. We booked the room with panoramic view and balcony and it did not disappoint us. Perfect in all angles specially for hot air balloon watching or just simply taking a break 😄 The room is well maintained, the shower has good water pressure and the room has everything we need to feel comfortable. They served good breakfast too and delicious turkish coffee. The hotel's balcony/lounge at top is perfect spot to watch panoramic view of Goreme, Sunrise, Sunset and Hot Air Balloon. Another thing we loved about the hospitality of Ahmed is the he recommended us the tours in Cappadocia. I would suggest GRAB THIS OFFER from Ahmed and you will not regret it 👍👍 You will save more if you get the tours from this hotel instead of getting it online or other agencies. The property is situated a little higher up in Göreme which made for some spectacular views. The common areas were made to be comfortable and inviting, with several sitting areas to choose from. They were very diligent about cleanliness and it made our stay super relaxed and comfortable.

Everything! This is the hotel you want to stay in Cappadocia. Everyone is very friendly and tries to guarantee you have the best stay and experience possible, without any scams. Whatever you need, they will arrange it. Room is beautiful! I got the underground cave room, and it was so much bigger than I was expecting. Really gives you the old cappadocia feel. Location is great if you want to stay near the best sunrise/sunset spot, as it's probably the highest hotel and 5 minute walk to the sunrise spot. However, that comes with the con of being a bit further from the Göreme centre (not that far, 10-minute walk or less, but it's very steep)

I did not dislike anything, however let me give a few suggestions: - bathroom floor (at least in my room) was slippery, including the floor inside the bath. I would advise them to put a bath rug or change the tiles on the floor for something a bit more safe; - breakfast was very good, but variety could be improved, specially when it comes to cold food/bread.

We had an incredible stay at the Arif Cave Hotel. It has the best view of the hot air balloons rising over Goreme! It is a truly spectacular sight and the hotel offers plenty of viewing spots to choose from. We stayed in the original cave room and it was the most magical space we have ever stayed (and we travel a lot!) The carved stone, the warm lighting, a comfortable bed, amazing shower, and our own personal balcony overlooking the balloons - it was a stay I will never forget. I’d like to give special thanks to Han who looked after us for our stay - he helped organise our entire itinerary for us, gave us incredible restaurant recommendations, helped organise transport for us and was always available to help - he even made sure we had a packed breakfast to take with us on our day of departure since we had an early flight! Impeccable service and I’ll be sure to recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.

The staff's hospitality was outstanding, Han went above and beyond to make our experience memorable, and the attention to detail in every aspect made for a delightful experience. The location of the hotel is so good the rest of the public has to pay 5 Turkish Lira to enter the area as its view is so spectacular. It is the highest hotel in Goreme and the views at any time of day are unmatched. The hosts know this and so sometimes also set areas for you to take pictures of balloons in the morning and throughout them day through to the beautiful sunset views, or to just enjoy the picturesque views at any time of day. The walk into the center is very manageable coming from two unfit adults despite it being up hill, especially considering the daily tours usually pick you up directly outside your hotel anyway. What makes it even better are the hosts. The team are super friendly, a special thank you to Han for making our stay extra special with your hospitality. We would stay here again in a heartbeat if we return to Goreme and will be recommending to all our friends. As a side note there’s a Mama cat and her kitten which have found their home on the terrace. They are the friendliest, sweetest cats in the world!

I’m not sure where to start, everything from start to end was incredible. Location: Absolutely perfect location for us. It’s a short walk from the main town (5 or so minutes), yes to get back to the hotel you are walking up hill but please don’t let this out you off, it’s 10000% worth it when you see the views from the terrace/rooms! There is a viewing point right behind the hotel which is perfect for watching the balloons go up/the sunrise. Experience: We were welcomed with a drink and Han sat down with us to explain a bit about the area and what there was to do, you can book all your activities through the hotel. Our room was STUNNING (we stayed in the Panoramic Cave Room) and we had an incredible view from our balcony (and our room was cleaned everyday!). On our first morning we went up in a hot air balloon and by the time we got back breakfast was ready for us (despite it being earlier than the hotels breakfast time) which was lovely to come back to. The breakfasts are absolutely DELICIOUS and the staff at the hotel really can’t do enough for you, asking if we wanted anything different or any more. The terrace area of the hotel is beautiful and peaceful, there’s plenty of areas to sit (some under cover in case the weather turns) so we always had somewhere to sit, we watched the sunset from the terrace as you get a perfect view! Throughout the day and evening someone is always on hand if you want any drinks to sit on the terrace with too. We booked both our transfers through the hotel which was seamless and ended up changing our flight from AM to PM on our final day because we didn’t want to leave and the staff changed our transfers for us last minute without an issue which was really helpful.

Great location - few steps away from the sunset view point which you can access for free if you stay in the hotel, amazing sunset and sunrise view from the hotel (room balcony and common areas), hot air balloon view every morning (if weather permits of course and if you’re lucky some will fly too close to the hotel!!!), walking distance to numerous restaurants (we highly recommend Pumpkin and Kilim restaurants) Great service - Ahmet and Han are the best…always helpful and the most accommodating people we’ve met Lovely breakfast - buffet of different cheese, olives, fruits, juices, coffee and tea, jams, etc. But the best part are the hot food that they prepare for every guest comprising of menemen, omelette, French toast, sausage, cheese pancake, baklava, etc. Plus you can request for other coffees like cappuccino, Turkish coffee, and so on

Just to nitpick, they can improve the common areas to make them more IG worthy (better landscaping, more flowers, etc), fresh juices in the morning would be great, better lighting in the bathroom, a little upgrading of the room as they look quite dated

This hotel, its prime location, and the kindness and humanity shown by their staff- namely Ahmet, Atem, and Umut, I left in tears when it was time to leave. Truly felt like I was leaving family behind. I loved everything about my stay. My room #6 exceeded my expectations, especially staying in a cave room for rhe first time. My own private patio, the gorgeous 360 views, I intentionally chose this hotel for access to the hot air balloon views. Wow wow wow.. did not disappoint! Sunset views, check! The freshly made delicious breakfast every morning, attention to every detail, I don't know how they do it, but their care and customer service goes above and beyond!! Breakfast was so much variety, and did I say delicious before? Thank you Umut for the delicious menemen you made me every morning. I asked for you but your shift was over, but I was thinking to take you home with me so I could eat it every day. I loved everything about this hotel, I can't thank them enough for the memories you helped to make my milestone birthday even better. The people are who made this trip so meaningful. Ahmet, my first day he brought me freshly picked apricots from his grandfather's farm, sweet and juicy. Always checking on me...."my Angel" he would call me, leaving out the A in Angela- my name. Ahmet, you do what you do because you have such a big heart. One day home and I miss you so much already, and will stay in touch as I promised. Sweet sweet Atem...what can I say, such a sweetheart, always making sure I wasn't in need of anything, and always happy to help. He works so hard, but makes it look easy. Umut cooked up the amazing morning breakfast, thank you for feeding me so well. Arif Cave Hotel is a win win. If you are looking for a boutique hotel filled with charm, and rustic comfort, an attentive staff that basically knows your needs before you do, don't think twice...BOOK BOOK!!

Everything was perfect for me.

I’m so surprised that more people don’t know about Arif Hotel. I picked it over bigger names based on the reviews and they lived up to their reviews. The hotel itself is gorgeous: the common spaces, the breakfast room and the rooms themselves. We picked room 12, one of the best rooms in the hotel (apparently only room four is better) and it was huge, stunning and comfortable with a porch that afforded sunrise and sunset views. The location is great: you can walk uphill to the famous sunset viewing hill on a couple of minutes (though the views are great from the hotel itself) or downhill to town in a few minutes. The service was also amazing. Many reviews mentioned Han and I can see why; he was always available and helped with everything from carry bags, recommend restaurants (including one off the beaten path experience that was amazing) , helping park our car and helping us find a tire repair guy when we got a nail in the tire. The first day we had breakfast, I saw a modest buffet of cheeses, olives, stuffed peppers, bread, yogurt and juices. We loaded our plates up only to have them bring out 5other courses - omelette, spicy scrambled eggs. Golzeme(pancake with cheese), sausage and potatoes and baklava. We left so much food over, the following days we asked specifically for the one course we wanted. Overall a truly wonderful and amazing experience. I hated to leave.

Minor quibbles: 1. No bureau on the room. There was a closet but no place to put folded clothes. 2. TV in breakfast room. I just would have preferred to listen to the birds. 3. Juice was store bought - with a place this lovely, fresh would have gone better.
