We were looking for the "cave experience" and we were not disappointed. Amber Cave Suites is family-owned and we felt welcomed upon arrival. The location is up on a hill so the view is splendid even for the sunrise balloon fest. The breakfast buffet was a welcoming addition and delicious. It is also a short walk down to the restaurants and shopping area.

Our family loved our stay at Amber Cave. We really wanted to stay in an authentic cave, and we had a great family room in a cave thousands of years old. The beds were comfortable, and the room was comfy and cozy. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they were able to set up a shuttle to and from the airport for us. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal. We rented a car for a few days to explore the area, and we were able to park it next to the hotel easily. All restaurants and shops within Goreme are within easy walking distance.

Incredible service and the viewpoint for the balloons is literally 5 mins walk from the hotel ( massively uphill at 6am so prepare yourselves). Room was clean and relaxing and literally looks like you'd expect a cave suite to look. The best base for anything you'd need to do and a few fancy bars 5 mins walk away. We checked out at 4am and the receptionist made us sandwiches and juice to take away with us so we didn't miss breakfast?

In my experience the taxis do struggle to find the hotel, which isn't a reflection on the hotel itself really.

The owner family is so helpful, friendly and generous. The location is absolutely superb, slightly elevated overlooking the town. The suite is a tuff cave, very authentic and lacks nothing. We appreciated the generous distribution of free water bottles; much needed during the warm and active days. Everything was organised through the hotel staff, be it tours or restaurants. We were surprised how they pinpointed our tastes so well - both restaurants were exactly as we love them! When we got back a bit late from a tour, they even drove us to our restaurant, thereby ensuring that we didn’t lose our table. Absolutely superb, true Turkish hospitality at its best! The breakfast was scrumptious. On the day of our departure we had to leave before breakfast and we were offered a sandwich and a soft drink. All in all: Thank you so very, very much for your kindness. It made our stay very memorable and we can see ourselves visiting Amber Cave Suites again in the not too distant future!

During my recent trip to Cappadocia, I had the pleasure of staying at a unique cave hotel that truly blew me away. The rooms were nothing short of amazing - they were built inside rocky caves, which made for a truly unique and unforgettable experience. The cave rooms were beautifully decorated, and the attention to detail was impeccable. I felt like I was in a whole new world. What made my stay even better was the hotel manager, Mentin. He was super helpful, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. He was always available to answer any questions I had and had great recommendations for things to do in the area. However, while the hotel had many positives, the breakfast buffet was a bit of a letdown. While there were some decent options available, there could have been more variety in the items offered. I believe the hotel could do much better in this regard. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this cave hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable stay in Cappadocia. Despite the breakfast buffet, the incredible cave rooms and the excellent service from Mentin more than made up for it.

Our recent stay at the Amber Suite Hotel in Cappadocia was an absolute dream come true. Words can hardly do justice to the extraordinary experience we had at this gem of a hotel. First and foremost, the views from our room were nothing short of breathtaking. Gazing out across the otherworldly landscape of Cappadocia from the comfort of our cave room was a surreal and unforgettable experience. It felt like we were living in a fairy tale. Speaking of our cave room, the cozy atmosphere it exuded was simply magical. The unique design and attention to detail in preserving the natural cave formations while still providing modern comforts were remarkable. We felt like we were transported to a different era while enjoying the luxuries of the present. Now, let's talk about breakfast. The morning spreads at the Amber Suite Hotel were a feast for the senses. From freshly baked pastries to locally sourced delights, the breakfast selection was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. It set the perfect tone for each day of exploration. The hotel staff deserves special mention. Their warmth and genuine friendliness made us feel like family. They not only assisted with our every need but also went above and beyond to book us

We enjoyed our stay at Amber Cave Suites. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and very accommodating of our requests and questions. The rooms were good. We booked a suite. The inner room is a true cave; it didn't really have an operable window and I felt a twinge of claustrophobia so we chose not to sleep there. We stayed in the outer room that has 2 twin beds and faced the street. Also, the A/C was in the front room so it was cooler. For us, the best part of this hotel is the location. Downhill from the hotel, maybe a 3-minute walk, are all the restaurants and shops. Uphill, just behind the hotel is sunset point. It is a short 3 to 5 minutes walk depending on if you stop to catch your breathe or not. We went up to the point in the evening after sunset when most of what you see will be the lights of Goreme and Uchisar in the distance. We also went up to the point before sunrise to watch the balloons rise from the valley below. Overall, we had a good experience.

Breakfast was good though the selection was not varied too much during our 3 night stay. Staff at breakfast area were attentive to guests needs. Helped with serving the hot tea. Didn't know it was half tea & half hot water. The proximity to sunset view point (pay 5TL per pax) & morning (6am or earlier) views of the balloons from the hotel terrace was unforgettable.

The sandy cobbly and sometimes dusty slope to the hotel. They were kind enought to drop us at the bus station that is a short walk but not friendly for our large suitcases on wheels....Thank you Amber Cave Suites. Some room (Pasa) had no airconditioning while another room (Kiler) had conditioning. The tour company recommended by the hotel for the Green Tour was not good.

Absolutely stunning room that went underground into the cave! Very central location - walking distance to the town and all restaurants. Metin was a phenomenal host. He was incredibly helpful in organizing airport transfer and activities such as ATV and hot air balloons. All the other staff were lovely and incredibly kind. Amazing views of the hot air balloons in the morning time - they flew right over our heads.

Great location, although a pretty steep climb from main street for 2-3 blocks if walking. Family-run property and Metin and his cousins are awesome, going out of their way to make sure guests have a good experience. True cave lodging. Breakfast was very nice spread with a nice view from the terrace. Five minute walk to sunrise/sunset viewpoint. Has partial view of balloons in the morning if you don't want to hike up to lookout viewpoint. Don't hesitate to book. We will be staying here again when we return. Highly recommend!
