Göreme is 100% touristic. Every hotel is named blah blah cave hotel, blah blah stone hotel, blah blah cave stone hotel, etc. Most of these places are manufactured and fake. However, The Arch Palace is completely different. The staff and owner of this hotel are fantastic people. Durmuş (manager), Rukiye, Semra are just fantastic people. They truly go out of their way to make you happy. Also, whatever event they booked for us, they were able to get it at a much cheaper price. Durmuş knows everybody and he is able to provide you get you the best price with the most honest company. The hotel is extremely clean and the rooms are 100% accurate. No photoshop fake pictures. The rooms are exactly as shown. The hotel also uses Ubiquity Unifi wifi mesh, so you have uninterrupted wifi coverage through the hotel. I just cannot say more how much i loved this place. Really A+++++++ service.

Very friendly staff. Mr Durmus was very welcoming and responsive even before we arrived and he perfectly arranged some activities for us. He drove us with his private car to the Turkish night venue. The location of the hotel is in the heart of Goreme where we could easily walk around and reach many shops and resraurant. The breakfast in the roof was a very nice view.

We stayed in a twin room in the ground floor. The room was ok, but the furniture is a bit old. Also, the room window was on the street level, so it was noisy when we open it, but also the room gets hot and humid when the window is closed. There was no fan or ac. Coffee drink is not included in the breakfast and has to be paid separetly.

we were given possible the worse room they have. right at entrance and room windows right on street. no aircon, so could not leave windows and curtains open to get fresh air. we stayed 2 nights and moved on to another hotel. I must admit we chose the budget std room.

Staff were very friendly. My girlfriend was using crutches and they gave us the room at floor zero. The transfer from the airport was very useful and cheap. It is not a cave, but our room was looked like one. Excellent terrace to see the balloons around 6am (worth it)

we literally loved everything about this place. breakfasts were delicious, staff was very nice and helpful, the location is wonderful, we even saw the balloons from our window. i also injured my leg badly when travelling, and the staff surprised me A LOT. in a good way, of course. they called a cab to take me to the pharmacy, helped me to get to the car, met me, asked the driver to help me get in and out of the car and to help me buy stuff in Turkish. they also asked me everyday if i'm okay and how am i feeling. extremely nice people! the room was also really clean all the time. the wi-fi was wonderful as well, worked properly and let us enjoy nice movies after long days of adventures. the terrace is also breathtaking, so as the view.

well, we had a broken showerhead, so the water spilled a little on the floor, but it wasn't a big problem at all. i guess some rooms just need a little cosmetic makeover, but it didn't bother us much. as the days were hot, we really missed a little air conditioner, but as in the night the heat drops a bit it is comfortable to sleep with open window. for some it might be the issue that the hotel is right near the mosque, and you can hear sound of azan (call for prayer) in the morning at 4 am. for some it might be disturbing, but we love this culture so it didn't bother us much. overall, these disadvantages were not big, and it didn't affect our stay at all. we loved this place and if we ever find ourselves in Goreme again, we will stay there for sure.

It was an amazing stay. Everything was great. The hotel is a boutique and it feels so homey. The room looked so authentic and traditional, we were amazing by the design and the lay out. the bathroom was spotless clean and well kept. The staff are amazingly helpful and I am not even mentioning their home made breakfast touches. The view is stunning, we watched the balloons in the early morning and view was amazing! I highly recommend this small but very beautiful hotel if you are looking for an exceptional stay in Cappadocia. Also, the location being in Goreme close to all activities was a bonus. All events and actitivites run from this city, if you book in another village or city you will need to travel to Goreme for everything.

Good location if you don’t rent a car. it is in town center near bus station, many restaurants, many travel agents, Goreme Open Air museum, Rose Valley and Red Valley trek routes, Pigeon Valley trek route. Short walk from town center to hotel, a short uphill. In Goreme, better not wearing dress shoes as the most of pedestrian roads are dirt/muddy roads. Hot water is available. Room is warm in winter. Turkish style breakfast is more than enough. good coffee. Service is very good.

-) Bottle waters were not refill everyday without asking. -) Neutral suggestion: always shop around and compare before booking activities (tours, horse riding, hot air balloon) through hotel.

Everything. I had pleasant time in Arch Palace hotel, Durmus, one of the staff from beginning of my booking has been really great in assisting me to select any activity. I love Green Tour and Horseriding the most. The pickup from airport already waited for me when I arrived and sent me to hotel front door. Hotel location, perfect. It was on hill so you could see the whole town view(meaning you could see great hot air balloon view). Breakfast room has amazing view, and staffs are really kind. Another staff, Fatma, has been kind and helpful from beginning too. Breakfast food are decent but it feel homemade, which make you feel extra warm like real home guests not outsider.

The location is great, it is located near the sunrise/sunset view point. It is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The staff were really nice, we had no problem communicating. The room is spacious and everything is clean.

The only problem we had was that there is no air conditioning in the room. It looked like the whole ground floor doesn’t have it. We were here in 38 degree weather and the room was a bit warm during the day, but at night everything gets cooler. Some furniture could be also updated.

Staff were very helpful and friendly - Durmus and Fathma were amazingly friendly and takes good care of every guest - Durmus was very patient while explaining the directions for Pigoen Valley and Love valley and gave me some tips on where to visit for sunrise and sunset - Fathma was very nice and helps us with breakfast and she also helped me book an airport shuttle early in the morning in short notice - They helped me with shuttle from and to airport which was very cheap as compared to booking a taxi from the airport Breakfast - Breakfast was amazing: thanks To Fathma, Durmus and one another lady (dont know her name) Location - Location was amazing and we can get some good views of the valley from the terrace - Sunset point was very near and so were the main bazaar, restaurants and taxi sand Room - I liked the hotel and the room as it was spacious and had a feel in line with the beauty in Cappadocia - Bed was comfortable and I had a good sleep I would prefer to stay here again when back in Göreme.
