Location was excellent. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance and major sites like Hagia Sofia, Topkapi and Blue Mosque are no further than 10-15 minutes walk. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They assisted us with all our requests, nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was generally speaking nice and varied from day to day which offered some more choice. We certainly enjoyed the view while taking our breakfast.

They could not find our reservation at arrival which was not great after the 5 hour flight delay we experienced reaching the hotel early hours in the morning. Thankfully everything was resolved when the manager arrived 15-20 minutes later. There was some damage to the ceiling in our room because of an older water leak, which had not been fully repaired (no leaks during our stay though). Breakfast was nice and tasty but the fruit juice offered was vile.

The location is perfect - walking distance to all the great sights. The terrace has a lovely view of the blue mosque. Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful ☺️

I think the breakfast could have been a little better - it was quite basic - meat, eggs and not much in the form of fruit or cereal. It wasn’t great for a vegetarian or a baby. Some more fruit would’ve been lovely! On the night we checked out we had to carry our own luggage up as the front desk staff on duty didn’t speak English - that was a struggle with a baby.

I go often to Istanbul and I can say, without any doubt, that this is the best hotel in Sultanahmet. The staff is superlative! The rooms are warms, cleans, comfortables and very beautiful, in the typical turkish style, made in wood and bricks. The breakfast is very good and the terrace has a great view over the Blue Mosque. You can also see the Bosphorus and the Asian shores. If you go there early or at sunset, when the muezzin calls to the Islamic prayer, you will have on of the most magnificent experiences you can live in the city. The position is the top, it is in the center of the old city of Constantinople, the ancient capital of the Eastern Roman Empire and of the Ottoman Empire, very close to Agia Sophia (you can see it from the terrace), to the byzantine Hippodrome and to the Topkapī, the ottoman imperial palace. There are many restaurants around, and the place is totally safe, even during the night. If you want to live in the magical atmosphere of Istanbul, you must go to this hotel. You will love it!

The location is in the heart of Istanbul, right behind the Blue Mosque. It is surrounded by beautiful boutique hotels. The rooftop breakfast restaurant has amazing views of Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia and Bosphorus. The street outside the hotel is picturesque.

There was nothing in particular. However, Istanbul Airport is more than an hour's drive from Azade so plan your journey to airport accordingly. We missed our flight and it was no way hotel's fault.

I liked the location and the room the most (especially the mattress on the bed). The view from the restaurant on the top floor was also great and was one of the main reasons we visited this hotel.

The only thing I did not love is the lack of choice of food offered during the breakfast. In addition, there were not any cosmetic products (shampoo/soap) in the bathroom upon our arrival but the cleaning staff was nice enough to provide us some after a request.

Tthe hotel is located in the old city, easy to get to the sights of Istanbul, in front of the hotel is an excellent restaurant, on the street, in the summer to sit there for dinner good staff special housekeeping and belboy great guys, thank you

Location was perfect. Service was excellent (check-in, questions, cleaning,...). Room was nice (although a bit too small for 3 beds + a baby bed). Breakfast at the rooftop is amazing. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

Rooms very spacious and spotless with very nice bathroom. Beds big and comfortable. Receptionists extremely polite and helpful. Well situated within walking distance of archeological sites,bazaars,shops,restaurants and tram. Breakfast good.Beware of taxi drivers parked outside(ask receptionist to order one!)

The first thing that really urged me to love the place from the very first night was Mustafa. His treatment was amazingly professional. Never forget to mention the front desk guys, and the cleaners. The breakfast vibes were so beautiful, and the feeling you get inside your room after a long day of sightseeing is so comfortably relaxing.
