Very cosy small hotel in 5 minutes walking distance to Sultan Ahmed. The room was ok, had all necessary facilities. It was quite noisy in the evenings because of the two restaurants next to the hotel. The guys at the reception were very polite and helpful.

The breakfast definitely didn't meet our expectations. It was the same every day with no fruits and very limited choice of the other food. Although it was set up to 10:00, in 9:00 most of the food was gone. The dishes were dirty and sometimes it was difficult to find a clean plate or fork. The lady that was responsible for the breakfast was more interested in her cell phone than in doing her job. She didn't serve additional food when the plates were empty, didn't check is there are clean plates and cups, didn't clean the tables - you have to chase her and ask for everything. And the most absurd thing - provided that there was no food for the guests, she was filling her plate and was sitting to have breakfast while she was supposed to be working.

The best location, round the corner from blue mosque, topkapi palace, bazaar etc….Staff are lovely and very helpful. Beautiful place to stay would definitely recommend.

I stayed in this hotel with my friend for two days from July 10 until July 12, and we really enjoyed it. The boutique hotel is really unique and aesthetically pleasing. The staff were really friendly and just so helpful and accommodating. The room is comfortable, and the location is perfect. I also really enjoyed the breakfast.

Our room did not have a safe deposit box. However, the hotel did offer to keep anything we need in a safe deposit box at the reception. We personally did not go for this option, but at least they offered. The other con was the lack of electric sockets. There was only one in the room thats near the bed and one in the bathroom.

Very close to tram line T1 that leads to the most places tourists want to visit. 5 minutes walking to the monuments:Agia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Top Kapi(10').You can find near many restaurants for all tastes).The room was cleaning every day with new towels and the breakfast was enough to keep you untill the lunch.

The door at our room had a new electronic lock but you could see at the door that the previous wasn't paint..The terrace was small but we didn't use it because of the weather (cold) Also, I don't know if it is on hotel policy but they asked us to pay the whole amount after check in.

The cosy atmosphere meant that within a day or two we felt as if we knew all the staff and were very comfortable there. The breakfasts were great. For those who want to see ancient Istanbul with ease the location is perfect. The places decor was charming.

Some of the local restaurants between here and the tourist attractions can be very pushy. It's easy to get away to more chilled out areas with the tram being so close though. I highly recommend learning to use the tram system.

We stayed in the Dolmabahce suite and honestly the view made it all for us! The hotel is located in a very nice area, close to market and sightseeings, also few minutes from tram. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was good as well with decent turkish coffee in the cutest cups, little details is what makes it unforgettable:)

There is no lift, which is totally understandable, so not a big deal. And the furniture seems very old, the hotel is authentic though so that may be on purpose.

🇹🇷 Had the most amazing time here in Istanbul. It’s exactly the same as you see in the pictures here and a bit more so gorgeous to the naked eye… Everyone at The Romantic Hotel is so humble and kind and they made us feel like at home… The breakfast is traditionally Turkish and absolutely delicious.. The rooms are bespoke.. fresh with clean sheets and very cozy. The staff will help you with bookings to go watch special shows; like the Whirling Dervishes and assist you in finding the shortest routes to the best places to visit.. They even helped us book the transfer to the airport well in advance so we wouldn’t face any traffic issues… The location of the hotel is excellent as the area is filled with things to do; be it shopping, dining or famous places to visit like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque etc. - all within walking distance… I’m definitely coming back! ♥️ Lots of love ~ Aysha from Maldives 🇲🇻

The hotel and our room itself exceeded our expectations. The view was amazing and so was the service. Hotel service and breakfast provided to us was good in quantity and authentic. The hotel is also located near by to the tourist spots and walkable distance to the Grand bazaar and Topkapi palace. If you are stuck and do not know what hotel to pick would 100% recommend this. The hotel gave such a cute doll house vibe :)

It is a bit small, but I heard almost all the hotels in Sultanahmet are smaller is size. Despite that there is still a sitting nook near the window/ balcony area.

Nothing makes a stay better than the people who invite you in. To Sabir, Emre, Ilya and Ohz(Hope I spelled that properly) you made our stay wonderful by always being welcoming, kind and attentive. You engaged us as fellow people and not just clients. My wife and I loved this reception, we loved the massive view over the Bosporus in the night and the morning. The bed was super comfy and we slept easily. The location was perfect for foot travel and the nearby restaurants were fantastic by themselves. Thank you for looking after us during our honeymoon from start to finish the customer service was outstanding. I will definitely stay again.
