There was no balcony in the room. We had an incident with some missing items.

Small hotel with excellent location if you want historic area as your base. Exceptionally clean room although some may feel it’s a bit small in their standard double (room 501), but it has a large separate area to lay out open luggage. Shower great, AC great. Housekeeping daily and with a smile. Top floor breakfast area has great view of water. Food is adequate selection and quality to which friendly server was on hand to make eggs to order. Unlimited coffee. Lobby staff named Mart was very helpful and friendly. Helped me with luggage upon arrival and with 4:00 am wake up call and escort to taxi. Hotel is around corner from Diamond laundry. Good hotel price.

The hotel is cozy, with not so many rooms and it makes you feel at home. Room comes with AC and it was clean and comfortable. Good pillows and complimentary water.The staff is AMAZING: the owner, the receptionist Mert, Sabrina and the lady at the breakfast were all very helpful kind and always open for a chat or a tea! Felt like being at friends home. The eggs always freshly cooked by demand and the fried cheese rolls where superb.breakfast is very good with fresh vegetables and fruits, mostly salty dishes served. The location of the hotel is just perfect, walking distance from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazar. There are plenty of nice restaurants or corner places where to grab something to eat. I recommend the restaurant next door for evening Çay. A special thank to everyone, keep going! If we’re coming back to Istanbul this will be our hotel of choice. Good value for money.

Nothing, maybe just a tiny little thing as I’m Italian I’m picky with the coffee and wasn’t the best but that’s not a big deal. They have amazing çay freshly made.

If u like the place which cozy, comfortable, and staff which will look after you - this is the place. Surrounding of the hotel has beautiful small cafeterias, culture value and cats to distress you. Special people in the staff who made my stay comfortable are Yusuf, Mert, Dilyara and Sabrina. In today fast-paced world u need time and the place to think and relax. Choose this place - u will enjoy your holiday. If u need anything special - request to the property and they will find the way to arrange it. I am definitely coming back to this property. Hope my review helps people who needs a break from stressful life style in Istambul this hotel is worth it.

Everything was simple and perfect. I liked everything.

Clean room, helpful staff (breakfast staff speak Russian). Breakfast with a view from terrace was fantastic (I didn't mind the same options every day since everything was delicious)

The room itself was not particularly small, but there was very little space to get around the bed, and solid chance of hitting sharp corner of the box containing TV. And the bed was shorter than usual (I noticed it despite I am 160 cm). Also, no soundproofing, you will hear everything that's going on at your neighbors' room. Seagulls are loud all through the night, but I personally found it charming :)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at City Hall and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, and made me feel right at home. The breakfast lady dilara was so welcoming and was extremely nice, the view from the breakfast room was amazing, but one thing that couldve made it all better was if some fans were added, because it got hot to a certain point. The room itself was spacious for what seemed to be small, clean, and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were soft. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail, such as the complimentary bottled water and the high-quality toiletries provided in the bathroom. The hotel was amazing. But what really stood out to me was the level of service provided by the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. For instance the hotel staff Fadel and Mert was so welcoming aswell as respectful, and always available to answer any questions.

.The breakfast room was very hot

We had an amazing experience there. Located near many attractions (Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque), we were able to visit many locations by foot. T the view from the breakfast area was fantastic and you could enjoy watching the sea. The owner, Fadil, was very kind and helped us with organising a transfer to the airport. Overall, I would recommend staying in this hotel, if you were to come to Istanbul.

It is very centrally located - close to the main mosques, restaurants, museums, the Grand Bazaar - good for cultured tourists. There was a little problem with our first room which was eventually redressed - kudos to the staff.

Everything seems a bit squeezed in at this hotel. I am a hobbit, so no problem with that. Haha! But if you're tall, wide or disabled, maybe look for something else. The phone number for this hotel on this website and on Google Maps is wrong. It must be +90 212 516 60 12. Imams singing at 6 am calling worshipers to pray is a bit annoying too but it is a Muslim country after all - when in Istanbul...

It was our first time in Turkey and thanks to finding this hotel, we had a excellent time! Location, cleanliness, safety, and inexpensive are things we try to look for when booking a place and usually something in our list is sacrificed. Not here. City Hall gave us first timers in Turkey a great experience! We were there for two nights and arrived in the afternoon. The owner, Fadil, welcomed us right away by taking us up to our hotel room and then showing us where they offered their daily breakfast. He helped us by pointing out where the major landmarks and sites were at and also where he recommended us visiting. The hotel room was very clean. There was always someone at the reception area to answer any questions. The breakfast on the top floor has an amazing view and we found it to be a good selection with enough for a good start in the morning. The location was perfect and Fadil was correct in saying you can walk to almost all the places we wanted to visit. Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Grand Bazar are less than 10 minutes away. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay there again! Side note: Fadil is fluent in English and Spanish.

Small friendly hotel. Close to main attractions. The street outside was a little noisy at times but that’s because it’s a busy area. The room was a good size for 2 people. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh with a selection of cold food and an omelet on request. Would stay again.
