Room was small but very clean, very good pillows and sheets, bathroom small but functional, staff was friendly but not speaking fluent English made communication difficult. Breakfast was standard but very focused on local cuisine.

Even though the room was for non-smokers, the smell of cigarettes entered everywhere, especially when the cleaning staff smoked in the hallway, and this happened in the 3 days we stayed at the hotel. Another complicated point was the noise of showers and pipes from other rooms, telephones from other rooms very early (5:00 am) and noise from the cleaning staff early in the morning (before 8:00 am). Quite difficult to sleep once these noises started.

Rauf and team of administrators did a great job to make our stay comfortable and stress free. Hotel is located 5 minutes from Grand Bazar and Ayasofya and lots of historical landmarks are within 15-20 minutes walk. Lots of restaurants and cafes are also nearby. Hotel is located in shoe wholesale area and it is always full of men carrying cardboard boxes around. Also they start working pretty early, so make sure your windows are closed or it would be hard to sleep. I found that area of Old town very cool, you get to see some scenes and stuff you won’t see in Europe, but for some people it might be a little too much.

This hotel has 4 floors, but you won’t see it on the photos, because 4th floor is the attic and rooms are tiny with small windows and limited view, maybe it’s ok to spend a night or two, if you are there for a longer period and plan to spend some time in the hotel I would suggest to pick another floor. Due to amount of cardboard boxes on the streets this area is closed for general traffic for the most part of the day, so keep in mind that you won’t be able to call Uber right to the hotel door.

Excellent hotel. The staff is very helpful, always smiling. Polite people who helped us carry our baggage (11 suitcases) from the hotel to the taxi. Good breakfast compared to my previous experiences in Istanbul ( this is my 3rd time). Clean room, and we were lucky to sleep very well, as the hotel is located near to a chose market and factories. The location is excellent, we went to Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet, Sulaymeniye, Egyptian market and Beyazit walking. Close to the T1 tram which is very strategic.

Almost nothing, except the orange juice that can be a bit better and sometimes I put the room on 'Do not disturb' status but the room service happened anyway, which wasn't a big deal for us.

Room super clean, location very central, great for the old monuments, palace, Blue Mosque, HS etc. Staff super attentive and willing to help as much as they could. Bed super comfy. Breakfast great

Room much smaller than we were expecting for a superior room, not enough hangers, wardrobe tiny. We had nowhere to fit our cases, so we were constantly tripping over them. Do not be fooled by pics on website - I was expecting a bigger room to be honest. Our shower flooded when I washed my hair, and didn't drain properly. The reception staff tried to sort it ASAP but it didn't drain well the whole stay - the shower doors needed new rubber seals. Please do take these comments on board. I cannot fault the receptionists, but the facilities need improving a bit.

Mr. Veysel was very kind, and supported us during our stay! Nearby, I advise you to shop in Show Market and eat in Ortaklar or Mar Kebab (everything is within a 5-minute walk distance). Hafiz Mustafa confectionery is also highly recommended (but be careful, the portions are huge). The guided tours and the boat tours offered by the hotel are also an excellent choice. The tram is also very close and takes you to the attractions, which are far from the hotel. If you wish to book a hotel, that has a perfect location and has a good price-value, then book this one.

The location of the place was excellent. It was right in the center just 5 min walk from the two most famous mosques. The personell were very nice. Yasim helped us grabbing the taxi and he was very nice, warm and honest to us. We also chatted with Omer, who also was very nice and gave us some tips of places to visit. The rooms were fantastic.

The breakfast was a little poor and I think it would not take much to improve it. The hotel also offered us a lift from the airport, but in my opinion it was a bit overprized. I highly recommend grabbing a taxi straight from the terminal, but please insist the driver to turn on the taximeter. Also, avoid to have dinner in the places close to the hotel. They are very expensive and definately ment for tourists who do not know local restaurants.

We stayed at the Primero Hotel for a week and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Hospitality and care was just too good.They took care of us from the moment we arrived from the airport. We loved everything about this hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They would greet you with a smile all the time. Not to mention that their beds are so comfortable with really comfortable mattresses, you can't feel the movements of another person in bed at all. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Nice tidy and cozy rooms, very well maintained every day. Amazing location and nearby all major tourist attractions except maybe Taksim square.I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was very special place for me for me because the entire staff was absolutely amazing especially Veysel was very friendly made sure that everything was beautiful and perfect in my stay in the hotel. I traveled everywhere around the the world and I never got good customer service like he did with me. He made my trip much easier for me because he knows everything about the city making sure you are safe. Even tho Turkey is a nice beautiful safe country. He helped me with my engagement ceremony and helping me making a beautiful celebration with my fiancé. I honestly highly recommend that you come to this hotel because you won’t absolutely regret it at all. This is my favorite hotel in all my travels all over the world. I can’t wait to come back to this beautiful hotel because all the workers are very friendly and amazing. Thank you for the stuff and thank you Veysel for the great customer service that you have given me. I will forever be grateful for everyone that works there. I’ll be coming back very soon to this beautiful hotel.

Exceptional stay!!! Thankyou to Omer who checked us in late at night as our flight was delayed and was there every night we came back late to welcome us with a smile, a great asset to the hotel and I’m sure many others would echo the same thing, and hats off to Veysel as well who gave us a map and pointed out some great tourist attractions and was able to attend to any problems we had. Rooms we spotless every evening we returned stocked with everything we needed!! Will definitely be using again for sure when I next visit Turkey, and will recommend every time, thanks team at Primero Hotel :)

Staff were excellent, really helpful. Room was well decorated, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was modern and clean. Housekeeping attended daily. I thought location of hotel to attractions was excellent and being situated in an area for locals was an authentic experience. Great buffet breakfast in great dining room.

Almost no storage for clothes - not a huge problem for us as only on a city break. Actual location of hotel was in a locals only street so wife was initially nervous (didn't last long as the locals were respectful)...also, no noteworthy views from the window. Half way up a hill so at some point climbing is necessary on cobble streets.
