location is perfect. breakfast is good staff is very nice the room is clean

room is small air condition is controlled by staff only. you can change the temperature, you can switch off it. But you can’t switch on. you need to call the reception and ask them to switch on. it is terrible. the spa is not in the hotel. it is next to the hotel. it is free for hotel guests only from 10:00 to 16:00. the corridor on the sixth floor smelled of cigarettes

Excellent stay at the greatfortune design hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and lovely, really good customer service. The hotel is very clean and comfortable as I was a Solo traveler, I felt extremely safe in the hotel and area surrounding the hotel. Everything is nearby, shops and restaurants 5 min walk away and tram 3 min walk away from the hotel. The hotel has a lot of activities information and complimentary Sauna and steam room for guests. Breakfast was okay and not too busy which I really liked. Very calm and relaxing atmosphere. The staff also gave me a complimentary fruit platter on my last evening, that was very lovely and thoughtful of them. Also it was really nice of the hotel staff to take care and the fact I can leave my luggage in the hotel room until my taxi arrived late afternoon. They did not make me rush to checkout! which I really liked about this hotel, Again excellent service. Thank you for your lovely hospitality. 5* service! :)

The hotel was very clean. The breakfast is delicious. The staff are all very cooperative, nice ,polite and helpful , especially Abdullah ( who's very oragnised), Omar( who's very hospitable, caring and highly reliable) , Shyama( lovely with nice spirit) , Cihan( who was kind and friendly), Badran( organized and supportive )and Burak , all are very cooperative. They're all very nice and made the stay more enjoyable . The location is too close to the tram. The area is accessible to various facilities. I highly recommend staying here. Airport pickup was exactly on time . The room was ready as we arrived. We received a room upgrade upon arrival . We extended our stay as we enjoyed it

The hotel was clean and hotel staff were very good and polite and helpful.

I booked cab to airport with hotel on a fixed price of 850 lira then when we got to airport the driver wanted more than that and said we need to pay 900 lira then I gave him 850 lira but claimed I gave 650 lira he was hiding 200 lira. This is very bad service from taxi driver. We had same problem when we arrived in Istanbul by cab from airport

We stayed here with my wife and son while I was working in Istanbul. Mr. Fateh and his team including Mr. Yovan at the front desk, and his concierge team, were all very friendly, professional and accommodating. Because of the staff, our stay became very good and they ensured that our stay was comfortable. We would like to thank them for their assistance. The hotel itself is a good city hotel, great for location, and close to all sights and amenities. Very easy to find our way around. We used the hotel spa on two occasions and were again treated well and found the facilities to be clean and orderly. Thank you again for a good stay.

The area of the hotel was generally safe but for elderly travelers, because Istanbul is generally a "hilly" city, it could be challenging - the hotel is on a relatively calm side street, quite wide and leafy, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. It is on a slope as are many hotels so just be aware of that issue.

Spacious and very clean rooms even better looking hotel and rooms than in pictures. Staff is very nice, professional and helpful. Overall experience was great there wasn't a one thing we didn't like. We will for sure come back.

The guys from the reception were very polite and did everything for us to have a comfortable stay. The communication was super easy and their suggestions were great. At the arrival we even got a free room upgrade, from double standard to triple with a balcony. The rooms are not very big but cozy & clean and the location is pretty central (in terms of the historical part). The breakfast offers a nice variety and was different every day. Would definitely recommend this place!

The Airport transfer they have is a bit pricy (45-50€), better call a taxi or Uber on your own (20-25€)

The whole experience was excellent, from the moment I stepped into the hotel. The staff was very kind to us from all points of view. We got cold while we travelled here and the staff sent us tea in our room and asked us frequently how we felt. Also, they allowed us to late checkout as we didn't felt well. Shakh, if you see this, I want you to know that thanks to your altruism and hospitality we will return to Turkey. The room I stayed in was very spacious and immaculately clean. Also, the breakfast was very good, with fresh products and pleasant music in the background. The hotel is very close to all the tourist attractions, but also to the means of transport. So, if you want to make a safe choice, without unpleasant surprises, you should stay here.

Everything was good

The location is fabulous, walkable distance from everything you want to visit in Istanbul. Great friendly staff.

The Jacuzzi in the room was unnecessary, it was a pure waste of real estate. The shower cubicle was way too small.

Good location, very helpfull emplyoes, interesting facility with the sauna and steam room. Breakfast good but the same food every day no diversity. Ahh, at the end of trip the receptionist asked for my phone to self rate on Booking. It seemed a common practice for them, but I didn`t allowed it and for that I cut them one more star giving 8 instead of 9.

We had a problem with the AC, we announced the reception, they said it will be fixed but it never was. The AC it couldn`t be started from the room only from the reception when we asked for it on the phone. A bit annoyng but fortunatly it wasn`t so hot in that period. The cleaning could be done better, had to ask a few times for towels, bathrobes and slippers.
