The location is excellent, and the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Adnan and Murat from the reception. From the hotel, all the main historical places are on walking distance (Sultan Ahmet Mosque, Hagia Sophia Mosque, Gran Bazaar, etc.).

I would say that the breakfast can be improved, and the restaurant should have better organization of seats (sometimes it was very crowded and there was no place to sit).

Location was excellent, within easy walking distance of all the main points of interest and easy accessibility to local transport. Whilst in the thick of it in terms of access, the hotel is set in a quiet square therefore not impacted by the inevitable city noise.

Whilst it is great to have an extra large double bed with more room for two people, the duvets provided are for a normal double bed. Therefore they were insufficient to properly cover two people, which meant one of us was without cover at some point during the nights. This was incredibly irritating for us both. It is a very simple thing to rectify - just buy duvets that are the correct size for the bed for which they are being used! Not very expensive, yet will make a huge difference to the overall comfort of guests.

Breakfast was delicious. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. My third stay at this hotel and quality remains the same each time i visit the hotel.

Great location in the old city within walking distance to mosques and museums .Good breakfast and friendly staff .Room was comfortable with a balcony and nice view .Front office staff were helpful with directions and excursions .

Nothing of note but restaurant was not occupied for dinners as they don't serve alcohol .

The hotel is very beautiful and in a great location near Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque, breathtaking views of which, as well as Bosphorus and Marmara Sea, can be enjoyed from the rooftop terrace during a very tasty and varied breakfast. Grand Bazaar and other attractions are within walking distance. The staff from the front desk are nice, attentive and friendly. Special thanks to Musa for his attention to my family, who arrived a couple of days earlier than me, and my special requests to give us a room with an amazingly beautiful view of the main holy places of Istanbul and the sea. The room was spacious, well-equipped, very clean with daily cleaning. Also, special thanks to the cleaning lady of our room! She was wonderful. Definitely I will return to this hotel again and recommend it to other travelers.

We have visited Istanbul several times over the years and stayed in different hotels in the Sultanahmet area.Without any doubt our stay at The Deluxe Golden Horn Sultanahmet Hotel was by far the best. The hotel’s location is excellent! Minutes from everything and yet situated on top of a hill on a quiet private road. Spectacular views of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and the Bhosporus from our room made coming back to our room after a full day, most memorable and pleasurable. The restaurant where a sumptuous breakfast is served has the same spectacular views. Watching the sun rising behind the Blue Mosque is something out of this world! The Staff are extremely caring and go out of their way to help in every possible way. Our stay at The Deluxe Golden Horn Sultanahmet Hotel made our recent trip the most memorable and enjoyable of all our visits to Istanbul.

Everything was good,staff was really friendly,it can see,that they take cares about their guests,that they feel comfortable during the stay. Mr.Ilker and Mr.Musa were really kind,they arrange for us taxi transfer so we come on time at the airport.So keep doing your work as you are doing. For sure I will come back to that hotel and I would recommend hotel to others. And the view from the restaurant was worth all of money,so we have directly view to Blue Mosque and AyaSofia,really nice area to take a photo.

Only one thing which was that on breakfast there wasn’t write what kind of sweets there were,becuase if I know what was for sure I would taste them.

Exceptional cleaning service everyday in our room! Towels, bed linen, dust, just great job done by the housemaids. Breakfast is rich with everything you might think of for breakfast. The view from the rooftop restaurant you get for sunrise while doing breakfast is simply one of a kind, with all the Istanbul's mosques and the Bosphorus in the background. Located in the busy area of Sultanahmet ,with all sightseeing stuff on foot distance, allows you to visit crowded tourist places early in the morning and skip the waiting time on the line.

The hotel acknowledged our wish for a queen bed, nevertheless we got a room with two single beds. Prices are more on the high end for a facility without a sauna or even a bathtub..

Fantastic hotel which is in a brilliant location, only 5 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Around 15 minutes walk to the Grand Bazaar. Although it is very central it is off the main street and so not too noisy. We paid extra for a room with a view of the Bosphorus and it was amazing, looking straight across to the Blue Mosque. The room was long rather than wide but was very nice being decorated in a Turkish style. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast food was nice enough, nothing amazing, but it was a buffet so you could get what you wanted from hot and cold choices. The breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant which also has a nice terrace and great views. I would definitely stay again.

Our room was a bit noisy first thing in the morning because it was underneath the restaurant where breakfast was served, however it wasn't too much of an issue.
