The view is really nice. The location is near the main attractions. The room is big and comfortable.

The breakfast is served after 9.30 and was to late for us. They need to make some small renovations and clean the windows because the view is great. Please be aware that rooms are accessible only by stairs.

The location was super central, with easy access, and a fantastic view of Golden Horn. The staff is super friendly.

It is not about what I did not like, I only want to give more information. Unfortunately, it is not accessible by wheelchair. And if you have problems with climbing up flights you might want to skip it. Also, it is at the heart of taverns, so if you are sensitive to sound, you might want to think twice.

We loved the room, which was equipped with everything one needs for a short stay, and the view of the Golden Horn from our window was absolutely mesmerising, especially at night. The staff were among the most hospitable I have met, they were always helpful and caring, and we were greeted with a complimentary coffee. Fanus, the hotel cat filled the void we felt leaving our own cat at home. The breakfast was tasty and is a good selection of local cuisine. The neighbourhood was fine, close to most sights and public transport options.

As other reviews noted, there’s noise coming from the outside during late evening hours, but it didn’t bother us that much. Bringing a pair of earplugs (which may also be needed if you don’t want to wake up for the early morning prayer call) is always a solution.

Staff! The young men who worked in the hotel make your stay utterly worthwhile. They go out of their way to make your stay pleasurable. I was a lone female traveller and staff always made sure I felt safe and well. Sufficient number of sockets - including one close to a mirror for styling hair (always a necessity). Temperature of room was pleasant. The hotel is pleasantly situated to access tourist sights on both sides of the water. Transport is easy to access and use and makes travel around Istanbul problem free and easy on one's wallet.

Wardrobe and clothing space is limited. Hot water can be temperamental but generally OK. The hotel is small, but cosy and staff are very warm and friendly. Can be a little noisy in the evenings, although this didn't stop me sleeping. Bathroom needs a little sprucing up.

Amazing views of Galata Bridge and main attractions of Sultanahmet from across the Golden Horn in Karaköy! Close to tram station, ferries, Galata Tower and Istiklal Cad. Exceptional, caring and interested staff full of recommendations, advice and always willing to assist - Haroun was fantastic; Mukaddes and Fatma also helped to make our stay extra pleasant. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Generous traditional breakfast. Reasonably priced, ice cold beers. The adjoining Dem Fish Restaurant was also excellent and reasonably priced! Truly a magnificent stay!

Great hotel in an amazing location. From the window of the room and the restaurant you can see the whole panorama of the old part of Istanbul. If you want to explore different parts of the city this is the best place. The Galata Tower is right behind the hotel. Very nice loft-style rooms. Breakfasts are tasty, although they could be more varied (something hot). One day we got an omelette and sausages and that was our best breakfast 👍 The hotel owns a restaurant which serves delicious dishes in the evenings with a beautiful view. We highly recommend this place! It is possible to arrange a transfer from the airport.

Very good position, near Galata Bridge, sightseing over the Golden Horn. Very friendly staff. They offered us tea and coffee for free, any time, and we find 2 big botles of water in the room. We could leave the luggage from check-out until leaving in the afternoon. Room with hairdrier, fridge, aer conditioned, cup for boiling water for tea, tv, slippers, shower gel, shampoo, other bathroom items. Good breakfast. Good wi-fi in the reception and in the room. They have a good restaurant where you can eat well or drink something. We will revert and recomand to our friends.

It's basically a small, narrow house with one room per floor over a regular looking, not very popular bar/coffee shop on the ground floor. It doesn't really feel like a hotel, i.e. you may not see any other guests, there's no "lobby". At night, after the bar closes, you open the front door with your key. Rooms are modern and clearly very recently gut-renovated. Exposed brick wall, nice looking wood (and wood-looking plastic) decor, very clean.

The street is dark and sort of dirty, you pass by late night fish places on the way from the bridge and tram. It's not on the "other side" of the bridge from Karakoy (a couple minutes walk).

Nice little hotel in a great location, main tourist attractions in Istanbul are within walking distance. Staff are nice and friendly and breakfast is a bonus.
