It is difficult to describe in a few sentences what I liked. Starting from the reception and the very arrival at the hotel, something never seen before, the maximum kindness of all but all the receptionists. Starting in order, Macit, Ümit Thank you, Hassan. Excellent, and the safest security guard in Istanbul, that is Orhan, during a night out with my relative, he came to the taxi driver and told him to take us safely to our destination, and to various night gatherings with him and fun conversations in the hotel lobby. Also, at any time of the night, the receptionists were very friendly and available for conversation. Hassan gave us his card for the tram and it was loaded, I believe the boss of this hotel must be happy to have employees like this. It is enough to say Habib, and the story begins with that excellent waiter who serves at breakfast, the first day we arrived, he welcomed us nicely and told us about the famous locations of Istanbul and politely made friends with us. I want to emphasize that we became the best friends with Habib and he spared his time to show us around one day and show the beauties of Besiktas. He promised us pancakes for breakfast one day and do you think he fulfilled our wish? Of course it was, and that morning we were the only ones to have pancakes in the restaurant. Habib thank you for that, I also want to emphasize that the head of the hotel must be the happiest and most satisfied with Habib. This is our James Bond 007 ♥️. I would also like to emphasize the wonderful view from the restaurant of Hagia Sophia and the beautiful Bosphorus. I greet all the kind aunts who cleaned the apartment every day and greeted me kindly. I want to apologize in advance if I forgot to mention someone from the staff, really and honestly, I liked everything. During those 7 days, No 12 Hotel became my family and it was very emotional to say goodbye to them. And most importantly, I will return to this kind of hotel again.

--The location is amazing, just few steps from the famous mosques: "Aya Sophia and Blue mosque", also it takes you only 3min to the Tram, and everything that you need is close. -- The staff was wonderful, the two gentlman working at the front desk were super freindly, always smiling, and are always ready to answer to any question that you have, also the house keeping were super nice. In general is a very nice hotel, I really like it, and I will be back for sure . KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK

Just a heads up, be careful about the companies or the agencies that you work with, they can ruin all the efforts that you do to satisfy your guests (I mean the people that you work with for the excursions and the transfers from-to the airport)

The location of this hotel is perfect. It is central to most of the popular tourist spots (short walking distances), it is super close to the tram, numerous restaurants surround this hotel albeit they are very pricey, and the room was clean and well prepped with good facilities. The staff were very helpful and lovely.

The only issue I had with this property was that one of the female housekeeper (cannot remember her name) was very pushy with leaving a 5 star review for the hotel on our very first day. Met her outside our room where she told my husband to take his phone out so she could show us something and ended up taking his phone and leaving a 5 star rating on google which I heavily disliked.

We loved our stay at this hotel. First of all, the location is perfect, just a max. 5 minutes walk to Sultanahmet. Very convenient for public transportation, easy to access most touristic places, which in Istanbul is really important. It is a very clean hotel, the room looks exactly like in the pictures and the rooftop terrace for breakfast has a breathtaking view. We enjoyed breakfast every morning, really liked thd food. More important, our thanks to the staff for welcoming us with a smile and nice words everytime we cam back to the hotel. Special thanks to Ümit and Habib! Hope to see you again soon!

We liked everything!

The hotel is in a fantastic location as it is only a 5 minute walk from the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Basilica Cistern. It is a 20 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar and the Spice Bazaar. Public transport stops are also very close by. We particularly liked going for a little walk before dinner and popping into the shops along the street. The hotel room was immaculate, and cleaned daily. The pictures are an accurate reflection of the rooms. We stayed in a superior double room which is perfect for two people. The beds were comfy, the water pressure in the shower was just right and we always had fresh towels. If you are not used to hearing the Athaan (call to prayer) you may at first be surprised to hear this five times a day, but the soundproofing in the room is very good, and the blackout blinds helped facilitate a good night's sleep. Please note, the hotel is not accessible friendly. Someone would mobility issues will struggle to get up the stairs to breakfast. The staff were so helpful and kind. Special shout out to Han at Reception and Asme who oversaw breakfast. There is a little cafe next door which is perfect for drinking coffee and people watching. I visited Istanbul with my Mum for a little getaway and we had such a fantastic time, which is largely due to having a lovely place to return to in the evening and spend our mornings in. 100% recommend booking a room here if you are visiting Istanbul.

Breakfast was not for me however I think food is very personal. There was nothing wrong with the food items, it is just not what I would eat. I did however enjoy the pastry selection and I especially liked the bread filled with egg, spinach and cheese. The tea was also excellent.

Large, comfortable bed. The room was small but functional and the shower was powerful and nice and hot. Great location for walking to Sultanahmet square, the hotel makes a good central base for exploring the city. Rooftop views at breakfast. Still water was provided each day. Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Breakfast was from 8-11am so you can get out early and explore the city.

The breakfast options were somewhat limited and seemed to me more like lunch or dinner options. The call to prayer was very loud and woke us each day at 6:30am (this might happen in any hotel in the city mind you). The room could get hot and stuffy. Description stated air conditioning but I was later informed by reception staff that it is only heating. The hotel can arrange a private taxi for you which is expensive. Getting there by public transport is possible and cheap but takes a long time.

Modern hotel in great location, lovely reception and housekeeping staff (Ingar) helped us with local stuff and a safety pin🤗 Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight, varied and delicious, view amazing with ambient music as well, loved it. Breakfast teams made us Turkish coffee to try and Imanu (sorry for spelling) and the other breakfast ladies were delightful greeting us each morning. Little supermarket around the corner for essentials. Little cafe onsite was popular and handy. Super clean premises and quiet. Very happy with our 7 night stay, thanks.

Not serious - floors in foyers all lovely black marble and sensor lighting only switched on once you left your room so visibility was bad momentarily. Wouldn’t stop us from staying here 😊

The location is perfect, close to majority of the historical sites and 2 tram stations. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are a bit small and you can hear noise from the hallway but this did not bother us. Rooms have great air conditioning however the hallways can get a bit stuffy. Cleaning could be a bit more particular but overall good enough for us and offered daily. Breakfast was delicious and there is a cute coffee shop on the premises which had tasty drink and snack options. The rooftop restaurant was closed for renovations during our stay which was unfortunate and we would have appreciated being told at check in as we had planned to have dinner there and went up only to find it closed off, there are many good restaurants a short walk from the hotel and panoramic restaurants which made up for this.

We stayed for 6 days and can say that we had a really good experience at No12 Hotel! Rooftop breakfast was exceptional. Such a wide variety of breakfast delights, plus choice of freshly cooked eggs can be ordered ie omelet's, sunny side up, fried etc. Room cleanliness was 10/10 with very friendly cleaning staff that where so helpful during our stay. There's a coffee shop on ground floor (street level) with indoor and outdoor dining options that has sweet treats on offer too! Front desk staff where all very well spoken, polite, friendly, accommodating with exceptional customer service. The hotel was within walking distance to all major tourist attractions and bazaars taking about 12-15 minutes. There is an abundance of food up and down the street itself with close access to more restaurants further down the street plus ATMs, bus, train & taxi access. We'll definitely come back here to stay!

Room was a little small so it was difficult having two large suitcases open at once. Staircase to rooftop restaurant is narrow when you go back down the stairs, so a handrail would be helpful for those who have issues with mobility or gait. But we still loved our stay here.

Comfortable bed, shower pressure excellent large room (booked double but was a family room-queen and single ). Bathroom rather small but was OK for 2 person, using 1 at a time. Daily housekeeping with replenishment of water, towels etc Staff were all pleasant and accomodating. Breakfast was turkish cuisine, also available was some cereal. Could get scrambled eggs if wanted. Was plentiful to set up for day of exploring. Walking distance to Basilica Cistern [approx 400mtr], Topkapi palace, Sophia hague and museum and Blue mosque. Tram to ferry port and Eminou with 400mtrs. We walked to ferry port in approx 15-20mins. Restaurants close by and within walking distance

The pillows were very small and flat. View from our room was a laneway where they parked corn carts. Was not really an issue for us as we walked most places but traffic in area can be mayhem
