- The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mevlid. Wonderful guy, his hospitality was second to none. - The location was perfect for sight seeing. Equally placed between the markets and the two mosques. Mamaray and tram stations are around the corner. A good base to have when exploring Istanbul. - The breakfast was amazing. Huge variety of food and great service from the catering staff. Good seating and tables. If you stay for more than one night, the kitchen staff will change the main hot dishes every day do give variety in case you might get tired of eating the same foods. 07:30-11:00. - The room was very clean. Everything was working, the shower pressure was good. We had a TV, fridge, kettle with coffee and tea, and toiletries. The bed was comfortable. - The hotel is easy to access. It has 24 hour staff available. There is a lift. - Great value for what you pay for.

- The pillows were a bit hard but can be switched for soft ones. - Some upkeep was needed aesthetically. Although Raymond hotel blue is still being renovated. - There is a loud music playing and noise from the bar which doesn't stop until midnight or 1am which may mean your sleep is distriburbed. The walls are thin. - Shower was slightly small in ground floor room.

The location is super (in the historical center, within walking distance to Topkapi Palace). All hotel staff are very friendly and helpful! At breakfast, although it is a bit cramped in a small room, there is a feeling of a family hearth: everything is enough and tasty. The room is clean. Thank you! Since we came to see the sights of Istanbul, I will not lower the rating for the view from the window, shabby walls and other things.

The location was incredible right next to the old city right next to the tram right next to the marmaray and two tram stops away from the ferry station. The staff was absolutely incredible every single person which I encountered would do everything they could to help you in whatever way you need it to. Special mention to Gabriel he was the sweetest and the most helpful !

The location is great because it's near the old city but it's so touristy that the prices are the highest in Istanbul and I especially found it hard to find good restaurants to eat at. Also if you're looking for an authentic Turkish view of the city this is the opposite of that.

Excellent location for visiting Istanbul for the first time. Good Turkish breakfast with enough variety and a few changes every day, with omellette included. Average coffee. Very polite and helpful personnel. Cleaning and change of towels every day. A complimentary bottle of water upon arrival. Good wifi.

Hard pillows.. Room facing the street quite noisy, we could hear the cars all day and night, glad we took ear plugs. However, noise is a common issue with the heavy traffic in the city. Noisy neighbors as well, rooms are very close as the hallway is narrow. Unpleasant perfume in the elevator area, most likely an unfortunate choice of air freshener.

Raymond Blue Hotel is in the bustling hub of old Istanbul. I was able to get to any major tourist attraction within a few minutes (5 minute walk to Topkapi, 7 minute walk to Hagia Sofia and 30 mins walk at the latest to get to Galata tower). The staff are incredibly helpful no matter the time of day, thank you so much for making my stay so amazing!

The rooms are a little on the smaller side, but honestly it wasn’t a big issue at all. The location and helpfulness of the staff made everything better.

Amazing location and clean rooms. The lobby always smell great and comfortable for lounging. The staff are very friendly and endeavour to accede to requests. From the Front desk to the breakfast waiters, they are very attentive to guests and polite. I stayed twice in this hotel within a month. Big thank you to Mevlut bey and Abdullah bey. And thank you Emirhan for my morning tea and cappuccino. Don't forget to check out the rooftop restaurant LUCO. Amazing view of the Bosphorus and Hagia Sofia. Go for the dinner view! We stayed here for 8 nights and it was amazing. Firstly, the staff was really caring and helpful. Secondly, the location was great. The Hagia Sophia was only 8 minutes away and the other main sights were near. The tram T1 was also near the hotel. We had the room to the street and luckily the street was quite calm at night. The food was good, not big of a variety but still tasty. Room was cleaned every day. Would definitely stay here again.

I booked this hotel for my parents, who barely speak English. I reached out to the hotel via WhatsApp, requesting assistance for them. My parents later shared that they thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The staff was incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean, and the cleaning service was excellent. The hotel has airport transfer service. It is nice and saves your time. For anyone planning to visit Istanbul, I highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location in the heart of Sultanahmet, right between the Hagia Sophia , Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar. Very good breakfast with a variety of food. Good price for the economy option.

We selected Raymond Blue hotel but was accommodated in More dated part called Raymond Hotel. The room was very dated with the wallpaper coming off in several places. The heating could not be lowered so the room was very warm (might be perfect for most travellers but we prefer lower temperature) so we kept the windows open. The street is very busy and therefore noisy but that's a fair price for the location. Generally speaking highly recommend this place to the travellers on the budget who don't mind imperfections.
