It was clean, staff was really pleasant and helpful, the location was awesome, it is a 5 minute walk to Sultanahmet. A lot of other tourist attractions are close as well. Guys on the reception speak English really well (which is not usual in Turkey, I don't know why). We also asked for and got a scale prior to checkout, so we didn't have surprises on airport with exceeding baggage limit. The terrace also had a nice view, and there is an elevator. The slippers and towels were changed daily, but I am not sure if it was vacuumed/mopped every day, so it wasn't exceptionally clean, but it was clean enough. The rooms are small, but for us it was enough. I saw a lot of bad reviews mentioning this, and even the guy on the reception reminded us of that, but I think that for this price - this is the average. We booked two rooms, economy and standard, but we got two standard rooms, which was great because we were all on the same floor.

The breakfast is scheduled from 8:30, but we waited until 9:30 for ours. And we didn't like the amount of food we got. We only paid that one day, and it was a good thing it was optional and you can pay by day. Sound insulation is poor. I guess you depend a lot on your neighbors. Our neighbors talked on the phone after midnight and it was really annoying. The hotel stated that the quiet hours are starting at 23:00. And it was a bit of problem for us because we have a baby. We didn't report it though, because a few knocks on the wall solved the issue :D I guess since the breakfast is optional, this is the only downside.

The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay truly enjoyable. The location is perfect, with everything within walking distance – Hagia Sophia, the main square, and the bazaar are all nearby. They also offer convenient airport transfer services. We arrived early in the morning due to our flight, and they graciously welcomed us to wait in the lobby until our room was ready, which was a huge help since we were traveling with a baby. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the rooftop terrace where breakfast is served offers a lovely experience. If we visit again, we’ll undoubtedly stay here. Highly recommended to everyone! We recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic hotel, and we can't say enough good things about our experience. First and foremost, the location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the city's attractions and get around without any hassle. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Their warm smiles and helpful attitudes set the tone for a wonderful stay. The rooms are not only comfortable but also impeccably clean, creating a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. We was particularly impressed with the amazing terrace view, which provided a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the scenery.

I appreciated several aspects of the Sultanahmet Nu Hotel. The location is fantastic, situated in the heart of Istanbul's historic old town and close to major attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Grand Bazaar. The staff were exceptional, particularly Javidan, who was always helpful and accommodating. The terrace provided a lovely place to relax with beautiful views. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning was excellent during the hot days. Overall, the value for money was great.

1 day we did not get room service (cleaning) because we overslept and were still in our rooms.

Perfect location, very close to the T1 tram stop, which allows you to quickly get to various parts of the city. The city's popular monuments are close to the hotel. It is a few minutes' walk from the Blue Mosque through an interesting, atmospheric district. A perfect place to stay - very safe and original. Near the hotel there are eating places, restaurants, grocery stores, a park and the old town. The room has all the necessary things, including air conditioning. The staff takes care of cleanliness and changes towels every day. The hotel also has a nice terrace on the 7th floor overlooking the bay. The service cares about the customer.

The air conditioning in the room is mounted very close to the bed. You need to find a good way to position yourself so that the wind doesn't hit your face at night. This is a room on the ground floor - the window overlooks the ventilation shaft, it is close to the window of the next room (about 1.5 meters). This is a bit disturbing, although the room has thick curtains for privacy. The building is very acoustic - at night you can hear noise from the corridor and neighboring rooms. A second light switch next to the bed or a lamp would be useful - if you want to turn off the light, you have to get out of bed.

Terrace was lovely to just sit out on at any time of the day, great views and what a place to have breakfast. The hotel was centrally placed to walk to the old town. There's some great restaurants really close by too. The staff were friendly and polite and were happy to help organise everything, its definitely worth getting them to organise your taxi too and from the airport too as that reduces the haggling etc and it does work out a bit cheaper. The room itself was fine for the 2 of us for 4 days and we did have a sea view.

The only thing that caused any problems while we were there was the hotel is on quite a steep and narrow hill and there's no real path and the cars in Istanbul will try and drive up anything. If you have poor mobility like myself it's a challenge as the hotel is also down steps but the staff will help with bags. Only other thing was the WiFi was poor in our room for the 2 of us using it but the WiFi on the terrace was great.

The hotel is a great find. Location is great, tram line is just a couple of minutes away. Plus it’s not super deep into the istanbul streets, so it’s hard to get lost while locating the hotel for the first time. But the true gems are the hosts and the staff of the hotel. The owners are super friendly and speak good English and Russian. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such great hosts in Instanbul. The rooms are small but clean (at least mine was). The terrace has a great view. Don’t expect sea views in every room (applies to Istanbul in general). p.s. moderate your expectations and you won’t be disappointed (applies to everything in general).

Pretty good location, as you are close to pretty much everything there is to see in Sultanahmet neighborhood. Also about 5 minutes walk to the bazaar, good restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff, we felt welcome. 😊 Good value for money, the rooms look new, great and are comfortable.

We found it hard to fall asleep and woke up a few times (even late at night, it was always noisy because of other guests) as the walls are probably too thin. It affected our rest and, as a result, our overall experience in the hotel. I really hope the hotel will consider fixing this problem as soon as possible to ensure a more pleasant stay for future guests. ❗️ Attention to cleaning could be improved, as well as restocking the bathroom with clean towels and toilet paper. Again, however, if you think of the price we really can't complain. For what we paid, it was alright and overall a good experience. 🙏

The location was very good. 10 min walk to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern. Then, a short walk to Tokpaki Palace. Nearby transport via tram to Eminoue and Galata tower. You can also walk it to the Sea of Mamara. On the way, see some historical masjid like Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Masjid. We were upgraded, so we had a lovely view of the sea of marmara from our window. If you want an even better view, you can just go up to the terrace and chill there. The hotel colleagues were very helpful and answered questions and gave you tips.
