Amazing stay at this gem of a hotel. From check-in to check out. The staff gave excellent customer service, and went beyond what was required. The owner himself is an amazing man, always smiling and helping where ever you see him in the hotel, be it in reception or at the breakfast area. Gave a free upgrade to the master suite on my sons birthday and surprised us with a birthday cake. Whatever you need, he is the man, be it Turkish tea or coffee, omelettes or anything you can think off! Words can't describe how humbled and happy we felt at this hotel. Having travelled quite abit, this experience was very unique and will stick with me for the rest of my life. One thing is clear, if I'm in Istanbul, I'll be sure to stay at Muyan Suites again. Rooms on ground floor and first were both decent size, and everything is clean throughout.

That I had to leave and go back home

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at because the entire staff were so attentive and hospitable. Breakfast at the rooftop restaurant was the highlight of each day with the beautiful Sea view. It was quite peaceful. The breakfast manager and breakfast staff were friendly and nice to talk to. They cooked us hot omelets each morning. There's a lot of yummy desserts and my mom and I enjoyed the home style cooking. Overall, Muyan is a very comfortable, quiet, and spotless hotel. You can easily walk to many sights: Grand Bazaar, Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace. All the top sights are quite close to each other. At least one of the front desk staff speak French and they speak English of course. I stayed in a deluxe suite which gave us plenty of space.

I wish the coffee at breakfast was hot.

- Great location of the hotel, very close to the historic heart of Istanbul. - Spacious room (deluxe), clean and comfortable with all necessary facilities. It's also located in a quiet neighborhood which is rare in this city. - Breakfast is delicious and varied with a nice rooftop view. - Staff members are kind, amazing and always ready to help. - We really enjoyed our stay overall, special thanks to Haci, the owner, for making this experience an unforgettable one, we would definitely return!

- Our room didn't have any particular view (it was facing a wall) though we spent all day outside so it wasn't really a deal breaker. - Poor sound isolation, especially early in the morning where we could hear loud footsteps above that did wake us up.

Excellently run hotel by Haci and his team. Location was great, just on a little side street away from the hustle and bustle. All the main attractions are very close by including the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Bazaar, etc. House keeping was done daily with fresh towels, and a top up on the water bottles and tea/coffee placed in your room. Breakfast was also lovely. You have a good variety of food including eggs, cereal, bread, and other little treats to get your morning started.

- Please could staff check all electronics including the AC before the guests check in. - If possible, please provide separate bedside lamps as the main light is sometimes too much at night. But like I said above, this was an amazing hotel, hence the rating of 9/10. I'd definitely consider staying here again given all the positives.

Muyan suites was our first hotel in Turkiye and it was a really nice and seamless experience. The checkin was smooth with a detailed explanation of the hotel, the various options nearby , a map, potential tours we could undertake , food options etc. The rooms were nice and clean . Breakfast at the top floor with the lovely view was awesome with the owner coming in daily and checking on us if things were fine and if we needed anything. Service was very good as well both at breakfast and in general. The location in SultanAhmet is very nice , close to the trams as well as the key attractions there. Would love to stay there again.

The location was excellent and our room spacious and very comfortable with a fantastic view. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

The internet service on our floor did not function well. The staff was helpful in trying to reset the router however the problem was not fully resolved during our stay. The boat tour that was recommended was nothing special and the guides disappointing given the incredible history and beauty of the region.

stayed in 5 star properties but the quality of hospitality in Muyan suites exceed 5 stars!! I had some changes in dates due to flight cancellations and being rescheduled. They happily rearranged without charge. The owner Haci serves breakfast personally everyday and engages with the children too. kept our luggage when we went to cappadocia. arranged for transfers. the staff did not just satisfied the customers’ needs but went beyond that level to customer delight. will highly recommend this hotel. the rooms are good, breakfast good. I felt safe in this hotel with my family. location is within walking minutes to main attractions in Istanbul.

I wish there was something. but I was really impressed by Muyan suites

Muyan Suites is a small but very cozy 5-storey hotel located in Sultanahmet district (Old Town). My wife and I stayed here at the end of November 2021, rented a family room with a sea view on the 4th floor. I am very careful about choosing a hotel. I chose Muyan Suites among 20 other hotels in Sultanahmet district (Old Town). This is the optimal hotel in terms of price-quality ratio. Pleasant homely atmosphere. Stylish author's design. The most suitable for a relaxing family holiday. Breakfast takes place on the 5th floor - a closed dining area with sea views. Location: Muyan Suites is very well located: - 10 minutes walk from Hagia Sophia. - 15 minutes walk from Topkapi Palace. - 15 minutes walk from Eminenyu Ferry Station (Galata Bridge) Room: comfortable, clean, without kitchen. There are two rooms, between which there is a bathroom (shower, toilet, bidet). A very modest mini-bar in the room – 2 bottles of water (0.33 liters), a couple of tea bags, a couple of coffee bags, a few sugar bags. About accommodation in general: There is no exchange office in the hotel. The exchange rates in the city are very different. Do not rush to change money immediately. It is not necessary to take breakfast (we already had it included). There are several cafes and supermarkets nearby. Absolute advantages: - excellent double bed; - elevator in the hotel; - from 8:00 to 20:00, you can smoke on the balcony of the dining terrace, enjoying the sea view. Separately, I would like to mention the managing manager. His name is Emre. A wonderful person who is always ready to help and answer all our questions. He gave us a map of Istanbul, as well as basic recommendations about the sights of the city. When we left, he helped with the transfer to the airport. I recommend Muyan Suites to everyone!

Breakfast: A very modest and monotonous breakfast. Coffee for breakfast is very bad (almost coffee water). Coffee for breakfast is the biggest disappointment. Room: The TV was not working. But there are only Turkish channels. Wi-Fi: Suitable for social networks, for watching online sports broadcasts or movies / TV series - definitely not. The room is good, but there were little things. Mounting sconces, handles in the bathroom should be strengthened. The balcony doors are not adjusted – they were very difficult to open/they were closing. Cleaning: The room was cleaned three times in 5 nights. Twice very well - besides everything, all the scattered things were neatly folded. Once is bad.

The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the breakfast area is on the 4th floor and you can enjoy your breakfast with an amazing view over the Marmara sea. The owner, Mr. Haci is taking care of the guests and he makes sure you have anything you need, which makes your morning even more enjoyable. The cleaning personnel was discreet - although we left the room around 11:00, they come back and cleaned the room. The towels were more than we needed. The access to the most important tourist objective is easy - a few minutes walk to Hagia Sofia and 15-20 min to Galata Bridge.

The parking place is two streets down from the hotel and you have to make sure you take everything you need from the car because the space in the garage is so tight you couldn't get close to your car. We took our stuff and forgot about the car till the end of the vacation.

We travelled as a family of 5 and Muyan suites went above and beyond with their service. Not only were they kind, polite and generous they were always on call for any help we required, which added the touch of a homely environment. The hospitality and the staff were all amazing. The laundry service, breakfast buffet, cleaning and airport shuttle arrangements everything was of exceptional standards. The location was also prime a 10 minute walk to Blue Mosque, Aya Sofiyah etc. A great spot in the Sultan Ahmet area. I would highly recommend Muyan and I would like to add that in our next travel to Istanbul I will definitely be picking Muyan again.
