The location is perfect for getting to know Sarajevo. There is a large breakfast space with a a lot of variety, and the spa offers massage (which I recommend - ask for Marisa). The staff were all very sweet.

This hotel feels like it’s working really hard to be fancy, but it’s dark and a little shabby. My bathroom had a dental kit and a razor set available, but they’d been opened and there was writing on the boxes. I had a little kitchenette but no refrigerator or silverware or dishes. When I checked out they asked if I ate anything from the minibar….but I didn’t have a minibar. The picture on the wall of my room was falling in its frame. And they had to replace a blinking light in my bathroom. I am sure that the hotel was emptier during covid, and maybe they’re still getting everything back in order. But it’s July ‘22, so it feels like things should have been spruced up by now.

All waiters were rude in both Vienese cafè and hotel bar. Terrible service, no greeting, no smile, giving out about everything... unacceptable for a Hotel like this one.

Hotel Europe is a fantastic hotel. It has everything you possibly need from a hotel, and as prices in Sarajevo is relatively lower compared to cities in other countries, it seems to be very price worthy. The rooms are spatious, the bed is comfortable, and there is both a sofa and chairs. The bathroom is also spacious and has both shower and bath tub. The hotel is located just by old town, and a few minutes a way from the point where Franz Ferdinand was assasinated. In short, the location is fantastic!

Location is superb, walking distance to almost everything in the old city. The room is spacious. There is lot of choice for breakfast. Staff (receptionists, room service, technical support) were very helpful and nice when asked for help.

Internet connection is unreliable, occasionally dropping out. TV set was not programmed with all channels listed in room instructions (missing the ones I was interested in). There was no full room service every day. Hotel bar (Vienna restaurant) closing early , leaving the guests without service.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at ❤️ my husband and I will definitelybe booking here again. Hotel Europe also offered airport pick up, from the pick up to our room, breakfast and facilities, everything was top class. I have travelled all over europe, and i can genuinely say that Quality reems in every aspect of this hotel, all the staff really took care of us and ensured we had a comfortable stay. The hotel decor is full of character and really shows beautiful history of the Austrian-Hugarian period, its lavish! The staff tale real pride in cleanliness and ensured that all rooms were cleaned each day. The food was of top quality and when we got speaking to Mr Deano at the hotel restaurant, this hotel has won many international and national awards, been graced by many big personalities and it shows that this hotel is deserving of this - and is one of the oldest hotels in the city. The fitness centre is also very well equipped and perfect for gym goers. Excellent location, well done to all the hotel team for making our stay memorable 😀

I had a wonderful time at Hotel Europe, the staff is amazing, the rooms are great, my entire stay was perfect! I would recommend anyone visiting Sarajevo to stay at this beautiful hotel! I will definitely visit again! 10/10!

The hotel is relatively in good shapre. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the room was spacious. The location is really good because its on quite site of street but right in front of the center.

Some parts upkeep. The room card would sometimes not function (e.g. if you open the room with your card several times in short period it will not work for a minute). The shower was leaking water in the bathroom. The room and whole building were quite cold even with air conditioning turned off.

Super friendly staff on arrival at 9:30am and our room was ready so we could go straight in! A big room, with comfortable bed, the decor looks a little older but suits the mood, plus a nice, renovated bathroom. The sauna was good, pool a bit cooler than expected but a pleasant area anyway. Location is great, with a charming cafe downstairs. Walk out and turn right - city, bars and shopping, turn left - markets and Ottoman old town.

To be honest I don`t really remember anything that`s worth mentioning, maybe that the pool was rather cool.
