during my stay the bar lounge was not ready yet I was informed that it will be ready at the end of September. Spa should be completed with a sauna

We didn't like that the entrance is only for cars. If tou are a tourist and you want to explore the surroundings...it is very difficult to get out and inside. At least there should be sins!!! It was very uncomfortable.

Everything was arranged perfectly, paying attention to every detail to make our stay memorable, the staff was very friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed. We even booked the safari in the desert from the hotel and it was the best.

Location was convenient, prices were reasonable

Reservations team took 3 days to reply to a request/question sent through Booking. Bathroom sinks were clogged, thought housekeeping would automatically fix it when they saw it but they didn't. Bathrooms are big and spacious but need privacy stickers on the shower and toilet. Pool was nice and big but does not get as much sun as you'd like since it's between building. And finally on that point, all the rooms are facing the other rooms since the building is in somewhat of a U shape, so good luck with any privacy if the blinds are not up (and in the evening you'll need to make sure you use the blackout blinds if the lights are on).

Everything was great, Size of the Room, comfort of the bed, bathroom amenities,.. etc. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location in the heart of Business Bay area.

The hotel is under renovation So the lobby was not as expected.

Excellent hotel, spacious rooms and perfect and delicious breakfasts. The hotel staff is kind, always happy to help, thanks to the amazing staff members Kenneth, Jora, Helina and the manager Rohan and especially the room service guy Gayal. Gayal gladly helped with every request with a smile and a lot of patience. This is my third time at the hotel. The first time I was a few years ago when the name was Oberoi. The hotel are close to all attractions and close to the Burj Khalifa. Taxis are cheap and you can easily get anywhere by taxi. The rooms are spacious, have a work area and also a sitting area and a spacious bathroom. The last time I was in room 1105 with a view of Burj Khalifa. They started to renovate some of the rooms. The pool in the hotel is nice, but those who are looking to enjoy the luxurious pool then this hotel is perhaps less recommended because there are hotels with huge and beautiful pools. Those who are looking to travel and want a relatively cheap and nice hotel, close to all the attractions then this hotel is a perfect option. The breakfasts are very tasty. The people who work at the hotel are charming and kind special thanks to Gayal and the manager Rohan.

The highlight of the Anantara Downtown is its staff. Rarely seen such caring and generous staff all across the hotel. Joven at the lobby bar is a delight, Raju and Nicolas at the pool bar are charming and up for a friendly chat, Madhu & Puspa provide awesome service at the restaurant and the FO- team helps out efficiently & effectively. I asked to take a shower in the SPA the evening after I checked out - no, they provided me a room to freshen up before my flight. Credit also to the doorman and bellboys for being vigilant and friendly. Its phrases like 'welcome back' when getting out of the car in the evening or 'same as yesterday' and being greeted by name that make the difference. Rooms are good - bit old fashion, but comfortable and very generous in space with a lovely bathroom and all amenities one would expect. Hotel overall is impeccable, and the location is fine (in Dubai anyhow dependant on your planned activities).

Service is beyond exceptional not just 5 stars but I would say 7 stars in all the hotel. All the hotel team really makes you feel home and whatever you ask for is done immediately at a higher level of service and very professional and fast. Room is one of the best rooms I had in my life, very spacious for 4 family members 54 square meters, very luxurious, comfortable and clean. Very elegant and comfy furniture with nice view from the tower. Beautiful bathroom and dressing room. Breakfast food quality is exceptional but they don’t change types of food everyday is the same which is boring. The Japanese restaurant in the hotel is the best exceptional. All The team that welcome you when you arrive or leave the hotel lifting all your bags to the taxi and vice versa. The room service is amazing. They did celebrate and surprise us in the room for our daughter as they knew from her passport her birthday date one day sent us a cake with the team singing for her and second day arrived to the room and the room was full of balloons. They made our daughter very happy. I cant wait to go back to this hotel again.
