Look into the eyes of the host and feel the joy of the here and now. Throughout the Scotland trip, the encounters with people were for the most part the most crucial. Our host has heart, mind and an incredibly wonderful sense of people towards people. We loved the character of this home and the garden. Our room was quiet and had a lovely view. Our host, David, was such a pleasure to chat with and gave us some great recommendations for Aberdeen and beyond. The scrambled eggs at breakfast may have been the best I've ever had. Plenty of parking at this location in a beautiful residential neighborhood.

We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our two hosts, who were fantastic, nice, and helpful people. Staying in a guest house allows you to experience the warmth of the Scots. They were extremely friendly and gave us recommendations for places to visit and eat. Breakfast was excellent, and vegan options were available. We strongly recommended it! Marion was so lovely, very welcoming and friendly, she also had great suggestions for the area and baked some sweet treats for everyone as well! Our room was huge, clean and comfy and breakfast was wonderful. There is also parking out the back if you have a car. We really enjoyed our stay here.

A lot of light got in through the curtains so it was bright quite early but we were so tired it wasn’t a huge deal.

A beautifully kept house with wonderful and helpful hosts. Very spacious room and lovely comfy bed. A delicious breakfast served with love and care. Free parking in the area and within easy reach of pubs, restaurants, city centre etc. Definitely recommended if you are staying in Aberdeen.

A first class stay in a clean, comfortable and city-convenient guest house. Marion and Davey were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Communication was excellent and the breakfast delicious. For family reasons we will be visiting Aberdeen quite often for the foreseeable future and intend to make the Kildonan our home from home. Thank you for a great stay!

Absolutely nothing to dislike!

The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Free parking was available, which was perfect for us. Our room was a good size, very clean and fresh towels were provided. There were good breakfast options (the full Scottish was lovely!) and the house was in an ideal location (~20 mins walk from town centre). We'd definitely stay again if coming back to Aberdeen, thank you!

Kildonan Guest House was brilliant for our stop In the Aberdeen area. The hosts were lovely and the breakfast was made fresh as you like it. The rooms are super clean, and the beds are comfy. We really enjoyed our stay. If your lucky you can also greet two super friendly dogs who like some gentle head scratches.

Everything was spotless. The room had all facilities required and it was good value for money. The breakfast was great. The owners were very friendly and helpful in providing advice about Aberdeen and our ongoing trip.

I have just spent another few days in this lovely, homely guesthouse for the second time in the last few months. I was home from Belgium visiting my mother. It's beautifully decorated, the beds are very comfortable and the room and en suite are spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious and the complementary home baking waiting at tge bottom of the stairs was a tasty treat. I couldn't fault anything it was perfect. Marion is a lovely, woman with a heart in the right place, she is very warm, friendly and extremely helpful she helped me out when I needed some help with booking transport. If you are visiting Aberdeen, look no further Kildonan guesthouse is the best place to stay, perfect location and most definitely the perfect guesthouse.
