Location and balcony .Good shower

We arrived at 145 (check in 3pm).We anticipated leaving our 2 cabin cases and going to get some shopping . However we were informed in an unhelpful manner that there was no luggage room or toilet available. We asked if we could leave our 2 small cases for a short while in the spacious reception and were told this was not possible. Having travelled by public transport we had nowhere to put our cases and had to sit in reception with them, until we were allowed to check in at 230pm. I found the lack of storage and toilet facilities unacceptable and have never encountered this before.

Nice welcome by the concierge; the apartment was spacious & clean. Not exactly garden view but it's located near Aberdeen center and still very quiet.

At first arrival we were sent by Google Maps to the back of the property & finding the entrance wasn't trivial. Parking is somewhat of a problem; I used the Your Parking Place app to find a spot.

How spotlessly clean every aspect of the Garden Two Suite was. the bed was massive and so comfortable. the shower was fab and the bath? I’d happily have died in that bath. Very good sized TV. I’d have like a dish/tea towel to be able to wash & dry the cups and dishes we used as the maids have enough to do keeping everything else spotless. So, I’m sorry for almost using all of the kitchen roll. The kitchen was ideal and I loved that the bathroom was the farthest away part of the suite - dignity & privacy intact. The room was deathly quiet which was great considering we were in the cellar part of the building. would love to come in the summer to utilise the garden furniture outside (we most likely will be). The location was ideal to everywhere we went. The young lad at front of desk was so friendly with a genuine warm helpful demeanour (thank you).

How spotless the whole suite was, and the extra pillow stored inside a plastic pillow bag in the cupboard.

Room was clean and had everything that we needed, Bed was comfortable Was close to the shops and main street. And also right round the corner from where my friend we were visiting is living.

Obviously nothing that can be changed and no fault of anyone but i wasn't prepared for the amount of stairs we had to climb to get to the top floor for our room and no lift, I might have missed that description somewhere but years of gymnastics has ruined my knees so it wasn't easy for me to climb. Just saying so to inform in future. If booking again i would request a room lower than the top floor

Clean and comfortable, also well-located to the city center.

We arrived a couple of hours before check-in, and inquired if we could drop off our bags so we could walk around the city before we could enter the room. Despite speaking with a staff member in a large, relatively empty reception room which locked, we were told it wouldn’t be possible to store our 2 bags. This was a bit odd, and we weren’t given a reason why we couldn’t store our bags in the reception room, only that it would “start a trend.” The staff member then recommended we pay an extra 10 euros for early check-in, which we politely declined. Storing 2 bags while waiting for check-in is a pretty standard request; it would have been nice if this option was available.

Room was great and balcony an added treat even though the artificial grass was soaking. Kitchen facilities are there but did not need to use them. Everything there though for those who would use.

Room was extremely warm and stuffy on arrival and bedroom smelt a bit musty, Being able to wedge the bedroom door open would have helped, Found that the plug for the kitchen sink did the job, left windows and doors open to let room air. The balcony was nice even though the artificial grass was soaking and could do with a bit of actual weeding. The biggest negative for me was that there was no bottled water. A couple of bottles in the Fridge would have been a real plus, rather than having to go to Union Street to get some.

The suite itself was really good. We had 1 bedroom suite.

We booked studio by mistake ,managed to change to 1 bedroom on 2nd floor. We mentioned the attic studio I couldn't climb because of back issues we were changed to 2nd floor same floor as attic. There is a lack of lift so 2nd floor is stairs . It would ve good if there was a telephone ☎️ in the rooms to communicate with reception . Although reception is eant to be maned 8 -6 today there was nobody there until 10.30. So beware folk with back issues of the steep stairs especially floor 2.

The location is perfect, in a quiet little square just a short - couple of hundred yards - walk from Aberdeen’s Main Street. The property is a listed building, nicely converted into suites. Because of a complication with my booking, I found myself unable to use my entry code on the Sunday afternoon, but a quick call to the emergency number resolved this quickly, reassuringly and remotely.

As the property is listed, there is no lift, but I’m sure that the staff wouldn’t let anyone elderly or infirm struggle with luggage. A very small point, I’ve got to the age where climbing into the bath to take a shower can be daunting, I’m sure that the addition of a grab rail wouldn’t disturb the decor too much!

Immaculately clean and well presented, it was light and airy even though we were in the Garden Suite (lower ground level). There was everything needed for 2 people staying a few nights, loved how tranquil the atmosphere was despite being so central to the city. We had our own entrance so felt we weren’t disturbing anyone else. Would definitely recommend, and return for another stay 😊

Very minor points but the suite we stayed in would benefit from a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries, and a grab handle as the bath was luxuriously deep and we had to be careful climbing out from the shower.

Great stay, simple and quick checking. Quiet and left to get on with it with the key-less entry etc. which I like.

Be careful parking, the streets that is on the entry to both ends of the Bon Accord are separate streets but the parking meters if your at the end of the street do not identify this - nearly cost me a £100 fine which I had to dispute with Aberdeen council. Not the Craibstones responsibility but might be worth passing on as part of the checking process.
