I stayed here for one evening with my 3 year old son. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Check in was done in seconds very smooth. We went to the restaurant and the staff were lovely. We were waited on by a nice blonde lady I think her twin sister might have also been managing the floor. They helped organise us with some plane food for my son out with the menu options. And got us some milk for my sons bottle. The restaurant was quite busy there was a good buzz to the place. The steak looked amazing unfortunately due to the time restrictions that your toddler puts on you on a travel day I just had a couple of starters and a quick beer. The moretti was good, buffalo wings and hot smoked salmon carpaccio was lovely. Service was speedy which was great in our situation. We managed to get in and out satisfied before my son kicked off 🙏🏻. Loved the restaurant staff, they were very attentive and on point. I’ll definitely come back without child and have a steak night with my wife in future. The service in this malmaison is better than the one in York or Newcastle 👌🏻

Everything was good, would have liked the option to reserve a parking space at the front when arriving with a small child. But it is what is I suppose. There’s only a handful of spaces at the front

The property is beautiful and so are the rooms. We enjoyed having drinks and relaxing in the bar and we ate most of our meals at the restaurant. The food was so good! If you’re looking for night life and shopping this might not be the place. But if you want clean, comfortable, beautiful accommodations in a lovely neighborhood with a very nice outdoor space, then this is the place to be.

Not really within walking distance of much, but the bus stop is nearby. We used Malmaison as our launch to other places like Cruden Bay, St. Andrews, and Stonehaven.

Hotel looks very good, it's in a boutique style. Rooms are large and very comfortable. There is variatety of different drinks in the bar and food in the restaurant was excellent.

I asked hotel to book me a taxi from the airport as I was landing after 23:00, what they confirmed. There was nobody waiting for me and I was standing in cold 1,5h waiting in line for taxi in the Aberdeen airport. I was in the hotel after 1 AM. I've never heard even 'sory' from the staff, they said absolutely nothing and didnt reply to my email.

Fabulous bed, comfortable room, great coffee machine, high quality food. We went half board and all the meals were exceptional. Staff were very helpful and polite. Enjoyed the gym facilities.

We were on the lower ground floor so noise from the kitchens, fans, generators etc kept us awake at times. Hot tap in the bathroom sink had very poor flow. We will return but will ask not to have room on lower ground.

The staff are incredibly kind. I’d like to point out Christina as being so amazingly accommodating. My train arrived at 9am, and I was hoping to roam around before check in at 3pm. But I was so completely exhausted that I asked at 10am if I can check in early, fully expecting to be told no. However, Christina kindly made the arrangements to facilitate this for which I am incredibly grateful. I was travelling alone, and I also have quite a few health conditions that limits my mobility/makes me more tired sometimes, she didn’t know about any of this, but still tried her best to help. I will never forget Her kindness and warmth. Thank you for everything Malmaison.

We had a very nice and clean room and a good dinner. This was a MUCH better experience than the night before, I did not give a good rating on that survey

Very limited parking and a bit hard to find as all the buildings looked the same. Since it was a Friday night, we were able to park across the street in a small business lot, but if that was not available our car would have been on the street

very welcoming staff and and knowledgeable and helpful bar and waiting staff, shout out to Alex at the bar who will be a massive loss to the Malmaison Aberdeen when he leaves next week, also shout out to the bar man on the cocktails Callum and also to our waiting staff Rachel and Matty for looking after us in the restaurant. Food and drinks were fantastic.

Our bedroom was on the walkway to the car park and heard everyone walking past also had to keep curtains closed as everyone could see in, bedroom was very dark, not very well lit, bathroom looked tired and in need of a freshen up, fresh air vent very dusty inside. Shower head was too big for the cubicle.

Good location in a lovely area with some restaurants and bars nearby. Nice walk in to the city centre which took about 40 minutes. Plenty of parking spaces at the back of the hotel and a few spaces at the front. We were given an upgrade to a Club Room which was of a good size and very comfortable. Breakfast was so good and there was plenty of choice. Staff could not do enough. Would stay here again.

Breakfast was lovely- plenty of variety. The meal at the restaurant was also very nice and reasonably priced. The bed was really comfortable, the room clean and the shower/bath was hot. There was car parking facilities at the hotel. The decor was very nice and quirky, however parts of the hotel and the room I was is was looking tired and requires more attention. The staff were very obliging and friendly. I liked the general area around the hotel, lovely granite buildings, it is about a 30 min walk to the centre, which may not suit all

The communal areas and the room I was in was looking a bit tired, there is spa room (pay for treatments) and a small free gym room. I was a sole traveller and paid for three nights £280 (including breakfast). I would consider paying more at another hotel to get a better 4/5 star experience

Breakfast was tasty and delicious. Poached eggs were cooked to my perfection. Was seated Away from the butchers area. Chantelle served us for our evening meal and breakfast the following morning. Excellent service from Chantelle.

I didn’t like in the brasserie the animal carcasses on show while we were eating. I found this quite distressing. Was also on show at breakfast. This was partially covered but could have been covered better. I am not vegetarian but was off putting and left negative impact on my stay. Wouldn’t eat in the brasserie again because of this.
