the location was convenient for us to break a journey further north and to see the Falkirk Wheel and The Kelpies. Both of these attractions about 30minute drive. The property is also close to railway station that is on the main Glasgow / Edinburgh line. The breakfast was superb and the rooms really comfortable. We only stayed one night, but other guests were using it as a base for longer to explore the area. Comfy guest lounge.

No places within walking distance for an evening meal, so this meant travelling 10-15 minutes by car. Didn't cause us any problems, but maybe something to be aware of. The owners were very helpful in providing suggestions, though

Perfect location to visit Glasgow and / or Edinburgh as there are very good train connections to both cities. The breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of options to choose from, including vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free. Very friendly hosts and two gorgeous Newfoundland dogs :)

Not much really. Maybe just that the bathroom was a bit small that is nitpicking. For others who go there: it's good to know that Caldercruix itself is a very quiet village - so there is nothing to do or see there but that is not a problem with Glasgow and Edinburgh so close by.

I liked everything about the property, so much so I asked for an extra night and was accommodated. The hosts welcome, the house, facilities…all above and beyond, everything you ever want or need is in your room. lovely lounge and outside area to use…just fab. exceptionally clean property and amazing breakfasts. I made my way down the menu - which is extensive - catering for all! Lovely shower, comfy bed, the fullest tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolates tray ever! great nights sleep.Billy and Kay are so friendly, kind and knowledgeable…definitely will stay again!

I didn’t dislike anything, it’s all wonderful

Warm welcome by hosts. House is beautiful and retains many of its original features. Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, tv and wifi. Breakfast was simply superb with plenty of choice. Ideal location as Edinburgh and Glasgow can be easily reached by train from Caldercruix station which is a 10 minute walk away. Plenty of free parking if arriving by car. Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back

Everything was perfect, room was great and the bed was really comfy. Breakfast was really good as well. We were going to a wedding which was taking place a short distance from the Craig Park and the hosts were kind enough to offer to drive us along to the venue. Would definitely use again if we were in the area and would have no hesitation in recommending.

Two absolutely lovely hosts, Kim and Billy were so friendly and very welcoming. Our room was perfect and everything you could possibly need and more was provided! Parking was ample and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Without doubt we would stay again! Scenic drive to the accommodation and definitely don't pass this one by!

We had a lovely stay for 3 nights. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Our hosts Billy & Kay catered to all of our needs and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Lovely breakfast served every morning. Easy access to a nearby train station. We will definitely be back in future!

This family business is great . it’s quiet, cozy , clean and the family who runs it are so polite, friendly and helpful . The food for breakfast was a choice from 20 options , homemade with bio products, taken freshly from the garden , which for me is the TOP class service ! 10/10 isn’t enough for that lovely couple . And don’t forget - support small businesses. They have plenty to offer as they do care about quality .

everything was perfect

The property is furnished, decorated and each room adorned in accordance with its given name and to a very high standard. Immaculate throughout. The beds super comfortable in each room I’ve stayed in. A short walk to the station and a bus stop outside to explore surrounding villages.

I can’t think of one thing I didn’t like.
