I was a little apprehensive about staying here after reading some of the previous reviews. On arrival we found plenty of parking spaces. At reception we got a warm welcome. Our double room (no.32) was clean and had all the things needed i.e. tea/coffee facilities, flat screen TV, excellent wifi, shower with good pressure and a comfy king size bed. Hairdryer available from reception. Bedding and towels were of a good standard. It was a very warm night so we slept with the windows fully opened, there was no noise. We visited the bar for a couple of drinks but didn't eat evening meal, however there were plenty of people eating and what food we saw looked good, clean plates everywhere. In the morning we had full breakfast which was excellent. Short walk into Alcester which is a lovely little place. Tesco Express and chippy around the corner. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Alcester is a very pretty town and it was easy to travel to nearby Stratford upon Avon from here. Excellent value, we enjoyed the breakfast on site and may have also had an evening meal here except it is quite a busy pub in the evenings. There is a small play area in a beer garden but also a public play park immediately next door which is a bonus if visiting with kids. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Fan bloody tastic. What a place, what a community, what a staff. 12 of us on a tour needed a chap place to bed down. The Alcester Inn was the best value in the area. The rooms were clean, they had what we needed. We all ate in the restaurant that night and the food was fantastic, next morning breakfast was brilliant too. The staff were so helpful , they wanted us to be happy and went out of their way to look after us. We had a great stay and will be back than you to the whole team. Oh and the evening entertainment, Prosecco sisters 70's disco, loud, proud and full of fun, what a crowd, what a night :-)

A bar of soap instead of shower gel, but we are being silly picky here :-)

Not sure if below are negative points given the price but I think good to know: - They only provide soap + hand lotion so better prepare your own shampoo + body wash - Not aware hair dryer is on request (not in the room) so ensure you ask for it upon check-in - Parking could be busy as the pub seems to be quite popular so be there early - Bed is quite soft and very thin pillow

Location was good 10 minute walk to the town. Nice atmosphere in the bar very lively. Sky sports in the bar. Rooms basic but served its purpose. However good shower with large bath towels. Good value for money. Free parking. Tea & coffee facilities in the room. Staff were friendly so were the locals. Good location for exploring the surrounding area's by car.

We stayed 2 nights no room.service hence no tea & coffee replaced. Not sure but believe we could smell smoke in the room ?

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was excellent and very good value for money. The room was very spacious and quiet for a good nights sleep.

Little bit of mould around the shower. Silicone could do with spraying with anti mould. Paint peeling on the bathroom ceiling. Would probably benefit from painting with a bathroom paint. I was in room 20 which is a triple room and the middle mattress I could feel the springs through. Went to turn the mattress over and discovered a big brown stain on the underside so it really needs replacing. I would recommend investing in mattress protectors.

The room was suitable for our needs for a couple of nights, it was clean with nice towels. The breakfast was very good as was the evening meal we had there. Parking space was really good and near to local shop if you needed anything.

Eating in the bar area wasn't ideal a separate restaurant area would be better especially if you have young children. There was no where to hang wet towels in the bathroom or main room so that was a bit of a problem too. The single beds mattress did a lot of 'boing' noises from the springs and wasn't particularly comfortable. The outside play area needs some attention and a bit more equipment

The Staff were very friendly & helpful & the room was very clean & the en suite bathroom facilities excellent. There are good public transport links nearby for all local areas. The food is very good & there is a varied menu available. A very comfortable stay at an excellent price. Very good value for money.

It would have been nice to have a small pack of complimentary biscuits to go with the tea & coffee.

Breakfast was excellent delish // shower needs some work on tiles looked dirty, All staff lovely disabled husband three flights of stairs moved to ground floor room excellent don't know the mans name but he very kind went and got all my bags that I had put in the room and brought them down to grown floor for me over all good stay thought the disco noise would keep us awake but hardly heard anything .

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Food was very reasonably priced and was really tasty. Location great for exploring the surrounding areas and a short walk to the beautiful town centre. Room very clean. Would highly recommend. Absolutely first class service. Keep up the good work

From the outside it looks like a social club but inside is a hidden gem.
