Alan & Jenny were terrific hosts - friendly and generous with the suggestions on sites to visit. Alan had prepared a touring guide for recommended towns/items of interest and we found this tremendously useful. The breakfast was wonderful and more coffee & toast always on offer. It’s the little things that make this B&B a standout- Jenny’s homemade bread and Alan historical knowledge. Being greeted with “can I get fresh milk” on arrival back from a day’s touring and looking forward to an cuppa was outstanding. Our upstairs bedroom was spacious with king bed, tea & coffee making facility and ensuite.

Beautiful countryside and property. We were welcomed warmly, the room is bright with lovely furnishings and very comfortable beds. It is very peaceful with a gorgeous countryside view. Stratford-Upon-Avon is a short drive away. The breakfast was delicious and I really appreciated the gluten free toast (which I had requested ahead of time). Wonderfully friendly hosts who are there if you need them but not intrusive. Wifi worked perfectly, smart TV with wide choice of channels, little touches like biscuits in the room and fresh milk for tea (I hate the taste of those terrible long-life milk pods) oh and an amazing shower!!

From the moment we arrived the owner Alan was friendly, helpful and ensured when had what we needed and was happy during our stay. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, very clean, stylish cottage chic, the view from our bedroom window was stunning. Breakfast was beyond what we expected, we chose the cooked breakfast and you could also have some cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt and orange juice and breakfast came with a big pot of tea. We stay because we attended a wedding 10 minutes away but we will definitely be back coming back to stay and enjoy some locals hikes and the history the area has to offer.

Lovely location, with views of rolling countryside. Bedroom excellent if a little compact, but wasn’t a problem for us. A great selection of teas and coffees were available. The En suite was wonderful, large and provided all we could wish for. Everything was beautifully clean and fresh. Breakfast was delicious and included local ingredients, with several choices. Our hosts were very welcoming and informative, also recommending the local Blue Boar for an excellent evening meal. We would be extremely happy to stay here again.

Jenny and Alan are a lovely couple who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was excellent. we were greeted with a warm and welcoming manner and this continued throughout our stay. our room was immaculately clean, the breakfast was excellent, the location is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Alan was also kind enough to take us to the local Gin distillery for an afternoon Gin school so we only needed a taxi one way, and they also directed us to a local place for an evening meal. we can’t recommend this establishment highly enough and will definitely stay again next time we’re in the area.

The cottage was cosy and clean, Jenny was super friendly and welcoming and saw to our every need, even bringing fresh milk so we could have a cup of tea. The first day was hot and the rooms were airy. The next day, it was cool, and the radiators were put on. The bed was large and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing! We ate at the restaurants Jenny recommended, and they were 5 star too. It was a lovely relaxing break.

Absolutely everything from nice and welcoming hosts, spotlessly clean room, beautiful views from the window to the delicious breakfasts (with variety of choices). Alan and Jenny were an amazing hosts and very accommodating to our needs. We have been both on a short stay in Warwickshire and we will be back in the future.

Absolutely nothing. I liked everything!

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, made from local produce. The property being in the outskirts of Stratford, was beautiful and peaceful, yet within easy access of surrounding attractions.

Our expectations were exceeded, and I can't think of anything more we could ask for.

Absolutely superb accommodation and hosts. We had a warm welcome when we arrived and were shown to our room. The room and all facilities were second to none; so comfortable, clean and warm. Attention to detail on everything. Breakfast was perfect with choices. I highly recommend Larkrise Cottage Bed and Breakfast. Thank you to our lovely hosts. We will return.
