Exceptionally dog friendly. Nice comfy bed. Warm welcome and excellent value for money.

Being in a built up area it was noisy at night so we had to keep the windows closed so that the dogs didn't bark, which meant the room was a bit too warm, but it was only an issue due to the fact we live in the countryside so the dogs aren't used to hearing people at night. Parking isn't super close but again its great value for money so not a complaint at all.

Great location for a wedding nearby, plenty of parking and tucked away so nice and quiet. Really comfy bed, TV with Netflix and thoughtful essentials in the room (hairdryer, plasters and pens all came in useful!). Helen (and Cookie!) gave me a great welcome and was on hand to help out at any time, but wasn’t intrusive in any way. The room and bathroom were clean and exactly what I needed for one night. Would definitely recommend and rebook if I needed to spend any time in the area again :)

Not a real problem, but bathroom door could use some WD40 as it was very squeaky!

The room was very comfortable and clean and well kitted out with fridge, kettle and everything you could need. Excellent value for money. Breakfast was amazing. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Could do with some instructions to help find the place as it is quite tucked away. There was no lock on the door of the room. Booking.com failed to communicate that we had booked breakfast the first day but all sorted out with the host for second morning. Shared bathroom (as advertised) but this did not cause any problems for us.

Host was friendly and helpful, room was clean and well presented, tv, kettle, toaster and small fridge in the room, also supplied a fan which was very welcome given my stay was during the hot spell, area was very quiet at night. Proprietor was very helpful in coming out to help me find the carpark and entrance to the property.

Directions to find the property could be better, using the map from the booking.com app takes you to the wrong place, it should say turn right into carpark at bottom of hill and walk up the path between the houses to the property.

I loved that the hosts really welcomed me and my dog and also recommended a pet friendly place near by for dinner (7 min drive in car). They made sure everything was comfortable for me for the night.

The room is in a flat really set in within a local neighborhood and maybe I though unsafe at first but having talked to the guests I felt reassured.

Describing the breakfast as generous does it a disservice. Although only a continental breakfast, there was enough to feed an army and a nice selection. Lovely to wake up too. Very clean facilities, big comfy bed and room. I was only looking for a bed for the night but it exceeded this. Lovely hosts.

Took a little bit of time to figure out where it was exactly, and its a little out of the way so it takes a while to walk to nearby eateries. However, easy enough with a car and there is plenty of parking in the area

Wonderful host, extremely friendly. Great communication prior to arrival. Great sized room. Hairdryer, iron and board, mini fridge, kettle, tea/coffee/ milk/ sugar and bottled water offered, towels, and dressing gown available. Lovely clean room.

Purely personal preference - pillows a little hard

There is nothing to complain about. Even better than most three star hotels. The heating was okay, and the room was exquisitely luxurious. I will always book for a stay.

The bathroom was under repair, and I hope it will be resolved on time. Also, the location was a bit tricky for the first time.

Lovely host, very clean and tidy. The shower was lovely. Wish I'd have booked sooner. Would recommend as stayed for 4.nights. thank you Helen
