Lovely accomodation in beautiful surroundings, excellent Spa facilities, great for just spending time in the gym or hot tubs, or having one of their lovely treatments, and all staff during my stay were great and couldn't be more helpful

Small thing - earwigs in pod - quite a number on arrival and then finding their way in daily - not ideal, especially for those of a high squeamish level. It is a woodland pod and in a lovely wooded area, so can understand to an extent. The pod was very clean and still has a " new" feeling to it, so that isn't the issue, but maybe some sealing issues need to be addressed.

Plenty of choices pastry, meat, fruit and cereals. Also option of 3-4 cooked breakfast.

Warm day and there were flies and the continental meat and fruit were not covered. Small serving on first morning one egg sausage mushroom Black pudding haggis potato scone 1/2 tomato 2 bacon. Se ond morning got 2 eggs. Value for money would really have preferred 2 of each. Didn't get toast on day 1 and had to wait for it day 2 and was brought almost when we were leaving

The main building is a late Victorian/ early Edwardian grand design. the internal decor is 'arts and crafts' inspired although the architecture of the house is more traditional. The scale of the room (Fraoch) was spacious and welcoming and the bed was very comfortable although on the firm side. The dinner menu gave options for the whole family and breakfast although buffet style provided continental as well traditional Scottish options. two members of the family stayed in a Woodland pod (Walnut) which was exciting for our grand-daughter. The grounds around the house are extensive and include an extensive woodland with walking paths.

This is not a dislike but simply an observation. The hotel is ideal for weddings and hen parties and unfortunately despite the fact that it was Good Friday a wedding celebration was in full swing and a couple of Hen parties were in the pods/woodland lodges. There was a good deal of celebration and noise associated with these but, that being said, the Fraoch suite was well insulated and even the woodland pod also was relatively sound proof.

The property itself was impressive - I felt like I was at Hogwarts. The staff were very helpful too. I had a couple of issues during my stay but they were quickly resolved. The room was comfortable and the provisions inside were great after a long drive!

When I first arrived, there weren't any towels in my room so I had to go back downstairs to get some. I also asked for a receipt at dinner and the person in the restaurant was unable to produce one and told me I'd get it when checking out...this was incorrect which delayed me checking out as they had to locate it. Not the end of the world but stuck with me following the stay!

Inglewood House is stunning both in the surrounds and the interior. We have stayed at a lot of very nice places both here in Australia and overseas and this ranks in the upper range without doubt. Our only regret was that we only had one day to spare on our trip to stay but have since let our friends who live in Scotland know that it is well worth a stay. We had a lovely dinner with a most attentive and charming member of staff and similarly a most generous breakfast again with a most attentive and friendly member of staff. Our room was amazing, we were quite spoilt and for not a lot of money...excellent value. Quite stunning.

The staff as said previously were very professional other than the young men who served in the bar. A lovely bar with an excellent view but lack of good service and professionalism and too busy chatting among themselves with little interest in their patrons....that needs work and education.

It was easy to get to for us from the train station as we don’t drive. it was old fashioned but really well maintained. We loved the coal fires as it made the place very cosy. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was brilliant, I dried off our bathing costumes on the floor, don’t know if we should have but it worked really well. The spa was brilliant. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious too. Definitely a lovely place to unwind.

The windows rattled because unfortunately it was very windy while we were there, but that’s just because it’s an old building.

Really liked the interior and the overall ambience. Sort of old-fashioned, yet well kept place. The suite was enormous and the beds very comfy. Great staff, very kind and helpful. Delicious continental and cooked breakfast. Nice views of very well maintained grounds from the suite. We had to check out very early to get to the airport, so upon our request they prepared a packed breakfast for us, which was enormous and beautifully packaged. The kind gentleman even brought coffee in disposable cups to our car. This is very much appreciated.

There were a few things that made our stay less comfortable than expected. 1. In this sort of a hotel I'd expect to find a bathtub, not a shower. It's really nice to relax in a hot bath after a day of exploring. 2. Internet is non-existent in the room. You have to go to the lobby to get a signal. In this time and age that is quite surprising and could be easily fixed by adding more IP addresses. 3. While the breakfast is generally good quality, the coffee isn't. That's a pity. It's the small details like that that can ruin the impression. In our case a breakfast without a good coffee can't be rated very highly.

Stunning grounds as you drive up and our wows continued all the way to our room. We received a fantastic welcome and lots of chat from the reception staff. The house is steeped in history and is breathtaking. The manager showed us around as we were interested in the architecture and the history. There are photos all around of what it originally looked like. The room was truly amazing. There was a beautiful walk in original cupboard with wood paneling and doors. The bathroom was massive and modern with 2 sinks and a waterfall shower that made you just relax. We could have had a party in that bathroom, it was so big. The bedroom was also massive and the view over the front of the gardens was breathtaking. We were lucky to be there when it was the minus degrees cold streak which just added to the view. The room was nice and warm too. I loved the shutters over the side window that overlooked the conservatory. The front windows had long heavy thick curtains. There was a large bed and 2 large couches in the room, one of which I slept in as a sofa bed. It wasn't the comfiest but certainly did the job. Not sure if both couches were sofa beds but even if they were there would still be plenty of room. I wasn't that fussed for the cooked breakfast but my friend enjoyed hers so it may just have been me. We were served by 2 ladies in the restaurant. One was very clinical and not friendly at all which was a shame as all the other staff had been very welcoming. So would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely. I'm disappointed I never looked into the spa side while I was there as another friend and I like to visit different hotels for wee weekend breaks. I'll need to just look it up online.

Felt slightly uncomfortable at breakfast, but nothing that would put me off going back. Could possibly just have been the lady had something on her mind.

This Hotel is amazing! Wish we lived nearer! Booked for hogmanay and New Years day. From arriving we had a very warm welcome from the reception and the bonus of having open fires were lovely, the food and the room was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble from the staff who worked really hard to make your stay special, we used the Jacuzzi which was an added bonus again the spa staff were really kind and helpful. I can't wait to return, think its the best all round value for money and friendly hotel experience we have had in a long time, just what we needed. Thank you

1 adult and 1 child stayed in the pod and it was adequate in size for this. The housekeeper for Sycamore was lovely and friendly. The pod had everything you could need - other than there was nowhere to put your clothes (no wardrobe or drawers) so everything remained in our cases. Having a sink and a fridge was good as we had breakfast in the pod. Ate in the hotel both nights and staff were excellent.

Would struggle to accommodate 4 adults in the small pod. No children allowed in the spa hot tub although advert for hotel states residents can use it after 6pm. (it should state no children under 16 allowed at any time which is what I was told).
