loved the Shepard’s huts, very unique, quaint clean and comfortable! Food was delicious and can’t say enough positive things about they staff. Jenny, i think she was a manager, had great communication with me as I booked out 11 rooms. she ensured we had a room for dinner and that all rooms were ready etc and guests checked inn. The magic bus was perfect for my nieces to play in and service was great with large portions of food that was also delicious. Staff I’m general went above and beyond.

One guest reported an issue with a shower that I’m aware of but that’s all, everyone seemed happy with the place!

Very quirky place, and much bigger than it looks ! Was great for all the family...my son loved the mini Stonehenge outside, and playing on the fun bus in the garden. We enjoyed looking at all of the pictures of Stonehenge - it is literally like a gallery of Stonehenge artwork and photography ! The food is delicious and good value for what you get - I would definitely recommend the pizza ! The staff were brilliant - extremely friendly and helpful. We had a family room and it was a decent size with ensuite shower room. My son loved the bunk beds - it reminded him of being at home. There are plenty of plug sockets in the room which meant we could charge our phones without having to unplug the TV or lamp. The location is easy to find and very central to the areas we wanted to explore such as Stonehenge and Longleat.

Not really an issue for us, but was mentioned on here by others - the doors are quite loud and creaky, so you can hear them being opened and closed during the night. However this should not put you off of staying here ! We still had a decent night's sleep.

this is authentic england . The main house was beautiful with a bar and tables , the rooms were very comfy. We stayed in the little outdoor huts that were so cute and comfortable, felt like we were glamping :) The staff was fantastic! we got lost upon arrival and went to the wrong STONEHENGE ROAD. LAURA? stayed open until 11 pm waiting for us to arrive and guided us to the correct location. Even poured us a pint as a night cap to take to the room JUST BRILLANT :) thank you

confusing with 2 stonehenge road's in 2 different villages.

On arrival I was welcomed by a friendly staff member who showed me towards my room. Myself and my dog went in and was very surprised by the amount of space we had in our room which was lovely. The bed was so comfortable we both slept like a log. We also went down to have food in their restaurant which was great. Such a chilled atmosphere. I had to leave early so to check out all I did was leave the key in the check out box which was great for ease. I would fully recommend and will definitely be staying here again if I am back down this way for my courses! Luna was also treated like a princess and was offered a treat and lots of love.

Everything was great

We had a hut and a room. They were both comfortable. It was cold and rainy and both were warm. The showers in both were great - nice and hot and powerful. We did not have breakfast there. We purchased dinner and it was fine. Very convenient when you are hungry and don't want to go and look elsewhere. The dinner food options were basic but good. Didn't notice if there were other food establishments close by. It didn't appear that there were. It was very close to Stonehenge which was helpful.

The room (in the main building....not in the hut) had an emergency light that was on (couldn't figure out how to turn it off and it was too late at night to go and ask) and it kept the room quite bright for middle of the night. We didn't sleep well in that room because of it. The hut had no problems.

Unique accommodation, great location, just off the A303 Good choice of food, drink Very good prices Helpful staff, all very cheery A popular pub Large car park Great wifi Very clean and cosy inside Good heating, facilities

The price was OK, but as breakfast wasn't an option, it was not a problem for me. It seemed a lot of money There is a mix of railway carriages and shepherds huts. The railway carriages could do with a lick of paint on the outside. The smaller rooms were the carriages, all fine, but the picture on the Web page shows the shepherd's hut, not the railway carriages. The weather was very wet opening the railway carriage doors was rather a challenge as they were well worn

Lovely warm welcome. Friendly staff. Great food and fantastic service. Great location for Stonehenge and walks . Reasonably priced accommodation, food and drink. I am a terrible sleeper but I had an excellent sleep here. We stayed in the old railway carriage, which was charming. All in all a fantastic stay and well deserved rest after a long drive from the South of France on the way back to Cornwall. The lady who was working from lunch time right through was so lovely, warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. I don't think she took a breath all day . We would definitely come back and next time we'll bring our daughter because she would love it here. Loved little Stonehenge just outside the front of the main building.

Shower kept running hot and freezing cold, I had to keep dodging the water when it ran cold. On arrival there was someone smoking right outside of our accommodation, I felt perhaps people smoking could have been away from the huts and the railway carriage , there's plenty of space around the side and the front of the building, I felt it was a unsightly but it is a personal preference and it didn't spoil our stay or the character of our accommodation.

I liked my stay at the Stonehenge Inn. Particularly meeting Jenny who worked there. She was really nice to myself and my friend Jenny and very good with my two year old. I got a warm greeting at reception and was treated politely. The room I chose was quite big and the beds very comfortable. For the price it's an ideal place. The accomodation has a pub downstairs where you can order food which is very convenient. There are takeaways within proximity as well but I used Apps to get my food. I will definitely recommend the Stonehenge inn.

My only concern was the drainage system. But that can be sorted as I noticed that a marcerator or something of that sort was in use which had an effect on the drains. It's an old building and I don't expect too much as I see the care and effort they put into maintaining the place. However in the future if there are any refurb works I'll recommend that the drainage is looked into. This is not to discourage anyone staying there. It's a lovely place. The beds are comfy and the facilities are enough for anyone looking to visit a comfy place.

it was a fun and kitschy space. I'd say it's a step above tent camping. Use of space inside was fun and well planned. However, I'm glad it was just the two of us. Might have been better for backpackers (we had a suitcase...no place to hide that). Shower was awesome! Husband loved it. We stayed in February and the heater warmed the room nicely, and kept it warm, in the room and the bath. Lots of curtains and frosted windows to maintain privacy.

If it had been a busier night or warmer out (with more people at the bar), I don't think it would have been as peaceful and quiet as it was. We did hear the music from the bar until they closed around 10pm that night.

Good location and value. Stayed in shepherd's hut. Nice, warm and comfortable. Pub food was good value (more menus should emulate Mexican-style fillings in a calzone as was done here: delicious! :-) ). One lady in the pub was wonderfully efficient and everywhere: serving food, behind bar, checking everyone happy with their food etc: credit to her!

Perhaps curtains in shepherd's hut could be thicker to reduce outside light. Perhaps car park could have lines repainted (could fit in more cars if all were parked neatly). Minor points though: didn't detract from our stay.
