Salisbury is a small city, so walking 15 minutes from the train station to the b & b is no big deal. This also means that the way from the b & b to the city centre does not take more than 10 minutes, which is absolutely acceptable - and it is on a beautiful footpath along the River Avon. Ken and Jacqui are an extremely welcoming couple, they make you feel at home from the very first moment. Room and bathroom are absolutely comfortable and very modern in terms of equipment, there is more than enough space for everything, and the bed is also very comfortable. A real standout, however, is the breakfast: there is a lot of loving care in it (no other word is possible here !), the beautifully arranged fruit plate offers a wide variety from blueberries over kiwis to strawberries, to mention just a few, which makes for a very healthy start into the day (in most hotels, even the more expensive ones, you do not get anything like this !). This is followed by a choice of English or Continental breakfast, in different variations. This definitely exceeded my expectations by far ! Should I ever come to Salisbury again, this would doubtlessly be my accommodation of choice. I can absolutely recommend it !

Jacqui and Ken were very friendly and accommodating. I did find the B&B a little difficult to find as it is basically in a new terraced house. I also noted the very effective air conditioning unit which would have been very welcome if I had stayed during our hot summer! The breakfast was excellent! It is also a short and easy 10 minute walk to the centre of the city and there is a bus station next door!

My room was at the top of the "house" and required climbing a couple of flights so it would not suit people with limited exercise tolerance. There is no lift but there are rooms on the first floor

The Prestbury b&b is a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days when visiting Salisbury the room was very comfortable, modern and clean the breakfast was great with freshly prepared fruit a choice of cereals and a full English or choice of cooked eggs. We found the position ideal with only a few minute stroll along the river bank to the centre, park or Cathedral. A bonus for us was there is also Free parking provided with plenty of space for manouvering and parking our car. If we are in the area we will definately stay there again.

Close to town, great location , everything was good quality , bed was so comfortable, bedding, toiletries and spotless clean! Jackquilin thought of everything you could want , chocolates , biscuits teas coffee etc The hosts are so friendly it’s like staying with relatives! Nothing was too much trouble and we’d certainly stay again !

Slight road noise (but not owners fault as road works started the day before we arrived and finished day we left! ) but this had no impact on our stay as Ken and Jackqulin were so obliging!

The hosts, Ken and Jaquilen, were friendly and welcoming and their property was exceptionally clean. The lovely room contained everything we needed and may have forgotten. Lots of electrical sockets. Having a fridge was great, and a makeup mirror a lovely touch; the use of a parking space was very handy. Breakfast was freshly cooked as requested with cereal, fruit and yoghurt as well. The property is in walking distance of the centre of Salisbury, so easy to get to everything.

There wasn't anything we disliked.

A B+B inside a home with only a few guest rooms. We had outstanding hosts and offered a private parking space off-street that became available. The just-right-sized-room was on level three, well above the street noise and faced the main street, which was surprisingly quiet. Well outfitted room of appropriate size for a home, with well thought out outlets, and new bath fixtures. Very nice neighborhood of mostly homes/apartments just outside historic city core and 15 walk to Cathedral. Very nice breakfast made to order by host.

Any guest rooms facing the rear would look at a bus cleaning facility- did not hear it from our front road facing room-a guest may wish to specify that.

Everything! The hosts Jacquilen and Ken were so welcoming and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable and had lots of amenities for us to use including lovely bath products plus tea and coffee making and snacks. The breakfast was exceptional. Fresh fruit, yogurts and cereals and a full English breakfast if you chose. Beautifully cooked and presented. I could not more highly recommend the Prestbury.

Maybe a little traffic noise as it was near a main road but mainly very quiet at night.

The whole experience from the welcome to the departure was one of the best we have had in a B&B over many years. Jaquelin and John were so friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was superb, with a good choice of cereals, fresh fruit and a filling fried breakfast or lighter options. The town centre was only a 5 minute walk away, with plenty of places to eat/drink and shop.

With a comfortable, clean room, great food and lovely hosts, what's not to like? I wouldn't try to find fault, just for the sake of it.

Perhaps one of the best places we have ever stayed. Jackie and Ken were always in touch with us making sure we knew where to go, where to park, helped carry our luggage, gave us directions and suggestions for restaurants, etc. Every morning we were served a fabulous fresh delicious meal of our choosing, Jackie making sure our coffee was fresh and hot, our omelets cooked to perfection. The home is spotless, modern updated facilities, comfortable beds, mini frig in our room, coffee, tea, cookies, etc. Every detail was taken into consideration. We can't say enough good things about Prestbury House.

Not one single complaint!

We had a wonderful stay at Prestbury Bnb, our hosts were lovely and couldn't do enough, and the attention to detail in the room was outstanding, with little home comforts provided at every turn, from bathroom bits to mini eggs, as well as air con in the room which was very appreciated. The room was spotless and the bathroom lovely, with a huge shower. The breakfast was outstanding, best I've ever had whilst staying at a bnb or hotel, with a huge range to choose from and all made to order in a private dining room. The hosts have gone out of their way to make the Prestbury feel like a home away from home, rather than a hotel or more anonymous guesthouse, and it made for a wonderful experience. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Salisbury.
