The hotel is easy to find, carparking plentiful, and check-in was simple. The reception ladies are professional and friendly.Our room was nice and had the loch view balcony, which we had booked. Although the room was small, the tv was a good size, and the bathroom was really good with ambient lighting for nighttime. We didn't go on holiday to stay in the room so it was OK. We ate breakfast and evening meals at the hotel, both were very good. The breakfast room is lovely relaxed and chilled . The food was as expected, and the servers were lovely. The restaurant for the evening was very busy, a bit noisy but seems popular and we enjoyed the meals. The service was good and relatively quick.The outside areas are set up for relaxing with Outlook over the loch. We would recommend.

There wasn't anything we didn't like, really.

The room and bathroom were very nicely decorated and had all the essentials. A very peaceful location and lovely to be able to look out over the Loch from the room. It’s only about a 20 minute walk along the Loch into Balloch. Breakfast was excellent - the continental option included everything we needed and there were a variety of cooked options. The full Scottish Breakfast was very nicely cooked. The staff were all fantastic. They were all very welcoming, very polite and very engaging. They certainly enhanced the experience.

The room was a bit on the small side, but it was sufficient for our 2-day stay.

Staff were fantastic! We had a delayed flight and they helped us over the phone to hold our restaurant reservation and deal with our late check-in, which took so much stress out of the day. The room itself was grand, with a brilliant view over the loch. Being on the ground floor, it was close to the restaurant, but we didn't really hear much noise from there. Everything was clean, spacious, and well cared for. Breakfast was tasty and good value.

The room was a little noisy in the morning, particularly once people started showering; you could hear the fans through the walls. Not awful, but did wake me up.

The location was simply amazing...right on the banks of Loch Lomond. The views from our room were beautiful. All the staff were incredibly happy and helpful. The refurbished rooms were really nicely decorated creating a sense of peace and calm. The food at the restaurant was delicious and seemed very popular with the locals too. The breakfast was included with our room of which there was so much choice. Really lovely place to sit and enjoy the view.

The one thing that my husband and I were not happy with was the bed...for a hotel of this quality, of which everything else was amazing, we found this to be uncomfortable. Hopefully they may upgrade them in time to come. Otherwise a beautiful place to stay.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with magnificent views across Loch Lomond. The service in the restaurant was very good and the food was excellent.

Our only disappointment was the very small room with nowhere to put a suitcase. It would have been better if the hotel provided a folding stand instead of our big suitcase having to be put on the floor. This said the room was very nice and perfectly adequate for our one-night stay.

Nothing. The only tiny improvement that would be nice is to have a hook to hang up jackets and some more storage for clothes as we stayed for a few nights and travelling with a child meant we had a lot of stuff. It didn’t spoil our holiday in any way though, it’s only a minor suggestion to make the facilities even better and a bit more practical for families. It speaks volumes though that it was so nice there’s nothing negative to say.

What a location the views were breath-taking at sunset and sunrise. Very nice room, had a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Dinner in the restaurant was very enjoyable and we had a hearty breakfast.

Was very disappointed with our room location, my expectation was that it should have been loch facing and it was actually on the other side of the hotel facing the mountain. My interaction with the front desk staff about this was not a positive experience.

Warm welcome and friendly staff, great with our wee boy! Extremely clean rooms (and venue in general). Tasty food and extensive drinks selection.

I’d say the only “negative” was the noise but that’s not really within their control. loud guests leaving bar, banging along the corridor, we could hear the tv next door word for word. Room located above parking area. wouldn’t have been an issue if we had been travelling without our son. Also family room states sofa bed is only for use of children therefore when our child was asleep we couldn’t turn on the tv as it was directly above him, luckily we had an iPad! Again wouldn’t have been an issue if he was slightly older or for a couple. Wouldn’t stop us returning.

Everything from check in to check out was perfect. Reception staff where ever so helpful and friendly. Room was immaculate and very comfortable and spacious. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful and quiet. Can't wait to go back

I liked everything, if I had to choose one it would be breakfast staff could be a little more welcoming and friendly. On our first morning we were greeted with a wonderful, friendly gentleman however 2 staff on with him could have been a little bit more friendly and at least smiled and said good morning. This however had no impact on our stay as the man who greeted us really was a lovely gentleman.

Excellent breakfast for both vegans and veggies. Amazing views across the Loch. Excellent staff throughout the visit and really helpful. Great location for exploring the Loch.

Some minor issues noted - a stain on the sheet when we arrived, which looked like blood. This was quickly corrected. Then a strange smell coming from the kitchens when on our balcony making it unusable and because of the bank holiday there were no maintainence people to sort this before we left.
