The location was 5 mins walk from Balloch rail, the high street and Loch Lomond, cruise, walks and buses to Luss village and beyond. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Good bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities and TV but I didn't watch it as had so many other things to do. Good restaurant and food.

The room I stayed was right opposite the stairs door where I got disturbed and also had hairs in the bed so I asked to be moved and the second room was better. It overlooked the carpark but was not too noisy but there are rooms at the back. The shower was static so had no shower attachment. No safe to lock away valuables.

This was a great place to stay that provided a hotel that was in in Glasgow proper and a bit north but was easy to get to after getting off an Intenational flight when your brain is not working. It made the trip north the next day so much easier as we did not have to sit in Glasgow traffic and were already a bit north. The Pub was very convenient and appreciated. We were exhausted and appreciated the very kind and accommodating staff.

The rooms were a bit small for a longer term stay i.e. a week. There was a desk but not a lot of space to relax in a room other than on the bed or in the desk chair. This was not an issue for us at all and we would stay there again.

Staff were excellent. The Manager, Libby, was fantastic so helpful and unflappable. Location was great - a short walk from everything we needed. Ten minutes walk to the Glasgow train. Lots of outdoor seating. Nice bar restaurant area. Beds comfortable, great shower, smart looking clean rooms. Plenty parking.

Would have liked some storage for clothes, only small hanging space so lived out of the suitcase for 4 days. Not comfortable to sit in the room for long. The bathroom was nice but would have liked hanging space for towels.

The room was very quiet and clean with a comfortable bed. The cooked breakfast was freshly made instead of being part of a buffet which was an added bonus and exceptionally good value for what you got. This might not suit all guests though especially if you’re short of time in the morning as it meant breakfast took a little longer but wasn’t a problem for us. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for an overnight stay or long weekend. Location was excellent too for access to Loch Lomond, the town of Balloch and the shops at Lomond Shores.

Nothing. It met all our requirements.

Great location (Very near a Mcdonalds and a Chinese restaurant, near balloch train station and other food places, and was also near balloch shores) Bed was super comfortable

Staff were generally friendly, except that one staff member I met on my second breakfast, I felt interrogated regarding whether I was a hotel guest and what my room number was (she was much more curteous to the couple behind me, perhaps she is cautious of solo and young travellers?) The table in my room was kinda dirty, there were strands of white hair… The kettle also contained water, probably from the previous guest… Other than that, the room was really clean.

Breakfast : Nice to be able to get a Scottish Full Breakfast with Lorne Sausage ( although not available on my visit :-( ) Room : Spacious , New , Smelled d nice and was very clean. Dinner : We able to accommodate all my requests and very friendly staff

Room : Double rooms were only on 1st floor and Twins on ground floor , which meant my family was split up. Not too negative - just be aware of when booking. Breakfast : Poor coffee offered in flasks - Very 1990s. I stayed in hotels for 10 days and everybody else had a good coffee machine for a morning cappuccino

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding at a nearby hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. We didn’t go to the restaurant but the menu looked good and reasonably priced. We’d paid for early check in but our room wasn’t ready when we arrived so they took the charge off and gave us a complimentary drink. We were still in our room with enough time to get ready for the wedding!

Our room was at the entrance to the hotel and everytime someone entered or left they let the door bang shut!

Pretty much as expected for a relatively new pub / hotel set-up. Very friendly & helpful check in staff, room was good, bed comfortable. Bar & evening meal OK, standard pub fare, but tasty & good portions. Good location at the base of Loch Lomond, easy walk to the loch, and other bars & restaurants.

Breakfast very underwhelming - confusing menu structure, expensive for what it was. How is a bowl of cereal & a slice of toast a "continental" breakfast? And limit to 2 slices of toast!!.....come on

Huge tasty Breakfast, nice room, good facilities for disabled in room and a huge comfortable bed. The carvery was good and the staff were brilliant especially James, Chris, and Jodie in that order. I can't recommend the place enough as the area is beautiful and there's loads to do even if you are in a wheelchair.

There's two sets of doors at the main entrance which makes it difficult for someone pushing a wheelchair to get in. The disabled bathroom which is a really good size and fully equipped needs another form of heating as it was really rather cold.
