The location is fantastic with uninterrupted views of the Humber and the Humber Bridge. Only a short walk away from the bridge footpath. The hotel was comfortable with an excellent lounge area, outdoor decking area and breakfast room all with that great view. They also had two really cool lounge pods outside which I fell asleep on one afternoon. Food was very good although a bit pricey. There was a huge wild field to the back with a worn path for dog walking. We saw loads of rabbits and a red deer one day wandered across the field. Staff were very friendly and helpful albeit in limited supply. They gave us some free kitkats when we had munchies one night and had free fruit on arrival.

It wasn't ⭐⭐⭐⭐ standard but the location and the staff made up for it. The corridors were really unkempt, and the gym was very poor but again it had the view. No one came to clean our room or replenish water etc. during the three days we were there but I was able to get supplies easily.

From entering to leaving it was a great experience. Brian made our stay wonderful.poor man was working between reception and the bar but his smile never left his face. Hr was proffessional and even stayed calm during busy times and ensured we wanted for nothing.A pure credit to the company. Nothing was an issue for him. The outdoor seating area with the views was amazing. The hotel was impeccably clean. The room was spacious and comfy. Although the heat ramped up there was a fan in the room for us. The little gift box containing tea coffee, water coke and crisps and biscuits was a lovely touch. We had a meal from the bar menu in the evening which was tasty and filling. Breakfast the next morning(included in our stay) was a good choice although buffet style and wasn't piping hot but still tasty. The waitress in the morning was professional and friendly. Sorry didn't get her name. Will definitely return.

Great location with very helpful staff and good value. Excellent breakfast, evening meals also vey good. The bar area / lounge is modern and comfortable, from there you can go outside to a raised patio area with great views of the surrounding countryside and Humber Bridge. Moving further down there are large grounds to walk around.

Could do with more staff but not a huge problem

All the staff were very friendly and professional Location was perfect and very quiet.. The breakfast was perfect. The chef on breakfast made it his job to ensure everything was cooked to order if needed.

Stayed for a few extra days due to conference. There was no direct access to rooms for those that are disabled. to gain access to rooms required going around to side of hotel. Access to dining areas were inaccessable to a couple, they were given their meals within the lounge/bar area. Not very good as they were in a party of guests that ate in Dining area. Three of the evening meals were well below par with one night meals were sent back 3 times, in the end for me I gave up. Went back to room for pot noodle.

Nice rooms, interesting location and lovely staff. Great view of the Humber and Humber Bridge (clue is in the name) and a peaceful location. Loved the architecture of the building with is quirky and of its time but all well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

Very limited breakfast if you are a vegetarian. This building is a 70's design with lots of steps between levels and no lifts so beware if you struggle with stairs. I assume they have accessibility measures in place. If you are thinking of eating or drinking here be prepared to pay well over the odds. I would expect a better choice of drinks and an option of cocktails (this request was met with a look of horror from the bar tender).

Great views and handy location. Very calm setting amongst trees and green. Room was clean and just what we needed. We slept really well. The staff were really cheerful, friendly and helpful and looked like they liked being there which is so important. The buffet breakfast was delicious and extensive. It was a great price. Thank you for having us!

The staff here are brilliant, friendly and accommodating. The location is good with views across the Humber, set within lawned gardens. Great for a leg stretch, or dog walking. The patio area, is great for Al fresco dining. Dog friendly. Had a huge bed, where we had a very good night's sleep.

Our room was a bit threadbare. I do wonder if you book a room, when you have a dog, that you are given the rooms in need of a refurb, which is not fair, especially as you are charged extra for the dog! This is not unique to this hotel however, but a trend , through the industry. We booked a suite, as we needed a place to just sit and relax. The sofa was not comfortable. The carpet was taped in places, and worn through in others. Deeply disappointing, and did not reflect the price paid. For the price, I would have expected mineral water in the room and a wider range of teas. Breakfast was fine. The Food we ordered on Room Service was disappointing, prepared with very little care, and was mediocre.

Gorgeous outside seating areas overlooking the bridge (albeit from a little way away) but lovely on a sunny day, or in the evening with some drinks and snacks from the bar. We didn't pay for breakfast with our booking, but elected to pay for it upon check in for one of the two mornings, which they were helpful in organizing. Again, the restaurant area for breakfast overlooks the views too. The beds were comfortable and the room was a great size. My friend enjoyed a relaxing bath which was a nice extra perk of the room. The staff were friendly and the parking is very accessible - it only serves the hotel. A very short drive you can see the Humber bridge, or visit the viewpoints where you can walk through a nature area. The hotel is on the same side of the bridge as Hull City so it saves you the toll cost to visit the city. We didn't need to use the bridge as we approached from Leeds.

Cant remember anything we specifically didn't like! A pool would have been outstanding. And breakfast included would have been amazing. But what can you do :D

Lovely hotel

Banging noise in pipework hotel room. Had to be moved, which was a shame, as we were only there for 2 nights . I never did get an answer to my request for a room for mobility issues. It had a lovely view overall a nice hotel. I would suggest saying if there are lift facilities at the hotel .

Friendly welcome, nice room, lovely setting with the bridge visible from the bar and a quality breakfast on route to “Bangers & Cash” !

Churlish points, musty smell in the corridor of the room and there were drinks and meals on our room number that weren’t ours, but this was quickly sorted out.
