The food was amazing - we had dinner and breakfast and both were of a high standard. The staff were extremely professional and friendly. The hotel was very quiet too which was nice so we didn't have to wait too long to be served. Car parking facilities are really good. I stay away for work a lot and in most cases you have to be at the hotel early to get a parking spot (which is difficult when travelling) but there are lots of spaces available.

The room and bathroom looked a little tired and could really do with a refurb. The bathroom bin wasn't emptied prior to my arrival which wasn't particularly great but as soon as I mentioned it to reception, it was dealt with straight away.

All staff I interacted with were great, always happy to help and approachable. Food available was of a good standard. Room was a decent size. I arrived very early on my first day and was allowed to early check in without prior notice. Thank you!

Noise travelled from the venue function area up to my room, obviously you expect some noise in a hotel. However due to the warm weather all windows were open so it was quite loud. Air con would have meant a cooler room and the windows could have been kept closed.

The hotel is beautiful, picturesque and clean. The staff are all friendly especially in the restaurant at breakfast. The food is superb, generous and well worth the added cost.

The only issue we had was our room door was not closed properly after housekeeping had been in presumably. We were at first anxious about our belongings but on checking no one had noticed and been in the room so we did not bother to report it although in hindsight should have mentioned so it doesn't happen again.

Live close by but went for a wedding reception and stayed instead of paying for a taxi. The night was good, venue was fitting of the occasion, staff were nice and professional and later on Tom F came out for a chat after the bar closed and still tried helping out off the clock.

The only niggle on an otherwise great stay was no air conditioning. A fan was provided but it's not the same wafting warm air around the room with the noise of it running through the night.

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast plentiful for choice.

I knew they had lots of weddings so was expecting noise and it was very noisy. We could have danced in our room as you could make out the words to songs. They clearly had a lot of the wedding party staying but put us above the bar and room the party was in. Why didn’t they put us away from that area as they had loads of rooms if they had planned it for the people attending to be above the bar and party as they would be at the party! We were there two nights so the next evening it was quieter but once the staff came in to serve breakfast you could hear them talking and singing from 6pm.

When you went for breakfast in the morning, the staff showed both my husband and I where to sit as we had our dog with us which she was a well-behaved Border Collie cross, called Meg. They gave us a menu which showed you a variety of things that you could have. What was available was from: yoghurts, cereals, pastries with a variety of preserves ie Jam, honey, etc along with different varieties of tea, coffee, plus fruit juice which consisted of orange and apple juice. Also, was available was a full English breakfast which consisted of 2 Bacon, 1 sausage, black pudding, hash brown, fresh tomato and baked beans. They ask you what type of egg you would like which consisted of fried / poached / scrambled. They go away and cook it while waiting but they also ask if you wanted toast as well which will either be white, brown or wholemeal bread - they ask you what you would like. The staff were always friendly, helpful & you could have a laugh which makes you want to arrange another revisit. The grounds during our stay were well looked after and kept tidy and the hotel was set in a very quiet and peaceful village except for when the church bells ring in the morning which is also nice to hear when you are away. The room which we stayed in was 204. It consisted of a large double bed which was very comfortable with tea, coffee, sugar and little pots of skimmed milk with a kettle on a tray on the dressing table. In the bedroom there was also a large walk-in wardrobe which had extra pillows if you need them. There was also the bathroom which consisted of the toilet, wash basin with mirror and bath with a shower inside. In the rooms they provide you with towels along with complimentary toiletries for you to use.

There was nothing at this hotel to dislike.

The hotel is very modern, the room was large and comfortable and the breakfast was cooked and presented perfectly. Had a nice glass of wine in the bar,, it was very relaxing.

The room could have been cleaner, the curtain pelmet was very dusty, the walls have hand prints on them, and behind the bathroom door there was body hairs.... that wasn't ours. The bedroom doors also rattle in the frames, I wedged it with cardboard as it did rattle every time the outer door was opened.

We chose this hotel to enable a group of family to stay and with plenty of rooms it was easy to book. The staff were very friendly and accomodating, allowing us to use an area of the bar and restaurant to sort through some boxes of family memories from a deceased family member. The breakfast each moring was excellent and the evening meals we did have were also very high quality.

Great hotel , lovely rooms , staff from entering hotel from start to finish EXCELLENT!!! I would like the hotel to recognise that Luke served us dinner at night and breakfast next morning . Luke was extremely pleasant and nothing was to much trouble . Luke made us feel very comfortable. Dinner service EXCELLENT Meal fantastic Breakfast service EXCELLENT and very tasty . This Hotel first class Only downside is where it is situated in an industrial area. We will certainly use it again . Very good value for money . Plenty of staff . Glad to use the fan overnight as room was hot .

Restaurant food and staff were fantastic. Exclusive room was nice and big. Fan in the room was helpful. Plenty of extra pillows Windows open fully

Irons which are left available on each landing don't seem to be checked, and the one I used ruined a shirt as I hadn't noticed it was dirty (or had something burned onto it) One of the features of the exclusive room was a TV in the bath. However ours was broken and very tired, wouldn't have been able to see a picture on it anyway through the cloudy protective film! Bathroom was grotty in the corners, and woodwork very chipped. Bed was big but not a luxurious mattress. I assumed that breakfast was included in the rate but it wasn't
