The location was good by car however it is a bit in the middle of nowhere, its a 15 minutes drive to Cleethorpes which was a nice seaside town and in my opinion was slightly cheaper than Blackpool, with regards to food options and bar drinks. The breakfast at the hotel was pleasant you could order off a small menu, then chop and change what you would like to eat. The bar was a pricey but reasonable, the staff were ok but some not so clued up. Overall a welcome comfortable weekend break from the norm.

Option to just sit in the restaurant area just to have drinks and not being pestered and asked by every staff member if we were going to have something from the menu. The restaurant prices were a bit steep considering there is nowhere else locally to eat.

Myself, my mum & Rod The Dog went for a last minute break & found the surroundings beautiful. Very enchanting place that had EVERYTHING we needed. The staff were so warm & welcoming & nothing was too much trouble. Rachel, Tracy, Tom & his sister were all wonderful. Charlie the duty manager was amazing & made us feel special. The food was incredible, evening meal & breakfast in bed. The room was spotless, bed SO comfy, so felt totally relaxed on return home. Thank you so much. We WILL be back.

No faults at all

Ate in the restaurant.. Food was good and the waiter was exceptionally attentive and professional. Really good chips!! Room was a good size,. clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was OK and as expected. Served quickly and again staff friendly and helpful.

Walls between rooms were very thin and you could hear each other quite easily. Something to be aware of if you visit also the lighting in the bedroom was quite dim plus the light above the dressing table didn't work so that could perhaps be improved. But nothing that would put me of staying again

Great hotel the great staff. very comfortable room. ideal location for engineers visit to site

Breakfast was ok. quite a small portion. only one of each item. Evening meal was not good. burger with bacon and chips. bacon was barely cooked and not enough chips for £19.00. understand its a wedding venue but when being used for work food and drinks were expensive. picture of Burger attached.

Perfect for touring the beautiful county of Lincolnshire. Situated next to a beautiful church and fields all around with an oil refinery looming behind gives an almost surreal War of the World's feel, but completely fascinating. Both breakfast and dinner we had at the hotel were lovely. Staff were so helpful and friendly.

Could have maybe had a little more lighting in the room, Low lighting is great for relaxed evening, but no so much for busy mornings getting ready.

Reception staff a big short and rude . As we booked for a wedding and booked it 9 months in advance our room was good value with breakfast . But my parent was cold dark mauldy bathroom and a horrible smell and was mone money and also booked in advance then had to pay a extra £20 for breakfast for a horrible room. Complained at reception and they did move them.the room a little better but no way was as good as ours and more money £76 with breakfast .for us and parents thought theirs was £80 with breakfast but was charged another £20 being £100 for a horrible room. Iif my dad hadn't off paid for it before he saw it he probably gone home that night ., and how could other wedding people book a room on the day for £80 with breakfast? Doent seem fair how they paid less on same day. I feel they need a £20 refund. !!!!

We had a lovely room 403 but parent not which spoilt the wedding as was looking forward to staying as out the way venue From us.

Breakfast was great.

The location wasn’t ideal for me (South of the Humber) I was East of Hull, so it was quite a drive to get to the place. It’s close to a large industrial area, which is visible in the mid distance - so not the rural idyll. But the village is nice and tranquil, so the immediate surroundings were nice, pleasant and peaceful- a charming country church, on the other side of the road.

All the staff worked very hard in making your stay the best time! Reception, Bar and restaurant staff are a credit to that business. Keep up the good work! The bed was comfy! Size of bedroom was excellent. The food served was piping hot!

The toilet flushing sounded like a fog horn! I kid you not. One bulb in the chandelier was not working. In an executive room that is poor. The position of the kettle was a little strange!

Lovely comfortable room i paid for ground floor, beautiful,,with just everything I needed. Perfect for me traveling alone with my chihuahua. Had an amazing ribeye steak meal bought to my room with homemade chips and homemade onion rings, king prawn skewer topper. BIG Compliments to the chef. And loved the walk in shower. Fantastic price all round. Would highly recommend whilst traveling.

The food was amazing - we had dinner and breakfast and both were of a high standard. The staff were extremely professional and friendly. The hotel was very quiet too which was nice so we didn't have to wait too long to be served. Car parking facilities are really good. I stay away for work a lot and in most cases you have to be at the hotel early to get a parking spot (which is difficult when travelling) but there are lots of spaces available.

The room and bathroom looked a little tired and could really do with a refurb. The bathroom bin wasn't emptied prior to my arrival which wasn't particularly great but as soon as I mentioned it to reception, it was dealt with straight away.
