Although rooms were on the small side they were modern, well maintained and clean. Property was very well positioned for being in the middle the City, 100m from the Roman Baths. Check in and out was simple via the iPad at entrance. Tons of hot water, plenty of towels etc. Lovely peaceful courtyard, great for a little peace from the hustle and bustle of the City.

Three things, the seagulls screeched, very loudly, off and on all night making an uninterrupted nights sleep impossible. Certainly not the property’s fault but would make me stop and think about staying anywhere in the centre of Bath again, especially when it’s hot so needing the windows open. The things the property should sort, Broadband speed was dreadful, download under 2 mbps and upload 0.1 or less. Although I asked for help with this I received no reply to my email and a house keeper I bumped in to said she always had the same problem and promised to ask her supervisor but still nothing was done. Finally, although the bed was comfortable the pillows were very cheap and lumpy, combined with the seagulls making for 4 nights of very fitful sleep.

The flat was in a great location. The sunny central courtyard was a lovely quiet oasis. The flat itself was small but very clean and had everything you would want. Huge bed! Lots of fluffy towels. Teabags, coffee etc provided and fridge stocked with milk and mineral water - I don't drink milk so they took it away at my request (didn't want to waste it). Good selection of kitchen equipment and utensils - I was able to make breakfast and dinner each day with no problem.

On arrival there was an air freshener in the bathroom that had an absolutely overwhelming smell that permeated the whole apartment. I put it outside and asked for it to be taken away. By about day 3, with windows open intermittently, the air had cleared enough to be comfortable and I was not sneezing/wheezing all the time.

Location is outstanding. Staff are quick to respond and very helpful. Bed is very comfortable.

The apartment was smaller than made to look in photos. Great to have a kitchen, but they've tried to cram too much into that area, so cooking and cleaning is pretty fiddly. The shower screen had a substantial leak. Staff were really helpful, replied quickly, and sent extra towels to put down. However, I can't imagine the shower seal has gone overnight, so I wouldn't expect something like this to be a problem. It's pretty hot out at the moment, and there's not much airflow in the bedroom. Air con would have been a nice touch. I am nitpicking here. Honestly, we had a lovely stay and time in Bath. It's just as this is (in my opinion) at the top end of the price range. A few little improvements would make it worth every penny.

The location was great, the apartment was perfect. Compact but good size for 2. Everything we needed. The toiletries were gorgeous, the lotions and shower gel smelt so good. Very pretty and secure apartment complex and beautiful courtyard. Easy check in and instructions. Would definitely recommend

The bed was a little uncomfortable. And unfortunately because it was so hot on the 2 days we were there we had to have the windows open and the road noise was quite loud from a van which I assume may have been delivering to the hospital next door. When the window was closed we couldn’t hear a thing and there was a good fan in the room which we put on, but the road noise was a bit loud. Other than that I cannot fault it.

We loved our stay at Hiding Space: St Catherine's Hospital Apartments, and we will absolutely book it next time we come to Bath. The location could not be better, it is right behind the Thermae Spa, so our cold, wet walk back to the apartment late at night in the middle of December was thankfully very short. The building itself is beautiful and the apartment has everything you need for a short stay (or a long one), including the cowshed products. The only issue we had (which we knew going in) was parking in Bath. The apartment is very central, down narrow cobbled streets, so don't expect to find street parking near by. We parked in the Southgate Mall parking which is a short walk away.

Prime, centrally located to the Roman Baths, Abby, restaurants, and all the key sights, but tucked away on a side alley so quiet at night, immaculately clean and well kept, very high quality furnishings, complimentary toiletry, showers with great water pressure! We were very impressed with how seamless and clear the check in and check out process was - easily the best experience we’ve had in our travels thus far. The car park was a quick 5 minute walk, not an issue at all for us. Communication was easy and prompt - A+.

Nothing! I didn’t like that we stayed for only one night! I wish we had booked a few more nights here.

The location was perfect for our stay. The property was bright and cosy, loved the heated flooring in the bathroom and the sumptuous carpets. Felt safe. It was an easy walk from the long stay car park in Avon St and all the attractions in Bath, including it’s numerous bars and restaurants.

We kept hearing a strange intermittent thumping sound during the night, a bit like a tennis ball being thrown against a wall? It woke us up. Wondered if it was some kind of valve in the heating system. Could have used a waste paper bin in the bedroom.

Loved everything about our apartment! This is my second stay with Hiding Space (first was in 2018 in their Westgate location - also fab). Their St Catherine's Hospital location is just stunning though! Very pretty all round, gorgeous courtyard, fab apartment. We booked a superior apartment, which was very clean, modern, spacious, warm and had everything you could need from tea/coffee, milk, water, salt/pepper etc to toiletries (incl. face wash & toner alongside cotton discs etc). Location is everything with these apartments! Everything of interest was just a super short walk (literally 1-5 minutes). Check in & out was very easy at their kiosk or online and staff are easily contactible from your room and at the front door to the apartments. They even gave a courtesy call shortly after we arrived to see if everything was alright and if we needed anything else. I cannot wait to visit Bath again and you can be sure I will be booking another apartment at the St Catherine's Hospital location and recommending them to everyone I know. Fabulous!

I couldn't fault a thing apart from the WiFi connection in our apartment. We found it was quite slow on our devices. Oh, and the seagulls liked to play havoc at night so recommend bringing earplugs for the times they like to kick off!

The entrance was down a quiet side road but still very close to the centre. The entrance led into a lovely courtyard. We had a superior apartment and it was spotless, nicely decorated, with a reasonably equipped kitchette, and a large comfortable bed in a spacious bedroom. We briefly met the housekeeper who was very friendly and helpful.

We were on the ground floor and unfortunately on our first night the couple above were very noisy (think hob nail boots walking around!) They moved out and for our second night we never heard the new couple above so think this was exceptional on the first night. Certainly if we return to Bath we would stay in St Catherine's again.

Tucked away just around the corner from the old baths, the rooms here are unique and set into a secure courtyard. Despite staying during a graduation weekend for one of the universities in the city, it was quiet in the area, even though we were less than five minutes from the abbey on foot. We were sent the code for the front door ahead of time so check in was easy with our room key cards waiting for us in the room. The bed was very well made, the carpets and floors well cleaned and all the surfaces in the kitchen area, bathroom and bedroom tidy and clean. The bathroom, though a little small, served perfectly, is nicely appointed and the shower area was very clean. The provided toiletries are of exceptional quality. The bedroom was bright and airy, with quality bed linen and good pillows. Plenty of towels were provided, along with more toiletries and a hair drier. A little more clothes hanging space would have been useful, though we had bought several outfits for the weekend spanning formal and casual wear, so this could be more an 'us' thing than a comment on the facilities. The kitchen/dining/living area was well equipped allowing us to cook in. The tools provided were clean and suited to the size of the appliances with sensible cleaning supplies also on hand. The crockery could have done with a check after the last guest and a potentially better wash, but nothing a run under the very hot, hot tap couldn't solve. The coffee machine was refilled each day with fresh pods. Though no milk is supplied, so if you need some, bring some. Though there is plenty of room in the fridge to store it alongside the mini-bar supplies (not extortionately priced). We enjoyed eating in on one evening and found the arrangement perfectly suited. Check-out was easy and stress-free. All in all, a very easy and enjoyable experience through out.

The shower cubicle didn't seal or close quite well enough, so when in use it leaked onto the floor. We ended up using some of the spare towels to stop the floor from getting too wet. But a major moan, and something easy enough to work around. The shower didn't drain especially fast either, but no other major problems. I'm really nit picking to fill this section.
