The bed was comfy. Shower was hot. Buffet breakfast was stunning. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The deputy manager Claire was lovely and helpful. There was tv, iron, kettle, tea and coffee in the room. The room was nice and warm so didn't need to put heating on. Restaurant served lovely food. They let us leave our bags after checkout so we could go out for the day. There were several different lighting options in the room, which was brilliant because I get headaches, so I could have the lights along the sides on without the main lights.

There was no fridge in the room. Room was very small and needed a refurb.

I booked a standard room but when I arrived I was advised that I had been upgraded. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room had everything that was needed, including an iron and ironing board. Even without the upgrade, the room (with breakfast) seemed to be good value for the price. Staff were friendly. There were plenty of places around the hotel to get food and easy access to Birmingham centre. I visited for a training at the Midlands Art Centre and it took me less than 10 minutes to get there from the hotel (by car).

All staff encountered were excellent, especially the bar manager. Buffet breakfast was excellent for us as we needed to make an early start on our journey Enjoyed our meals in the restaurant Comfortable room with a very good bed

The outside of the hotel worried us when we arrived. It resembles a car park not a hotel. (Inside all our doubts went and we were pleased with the hotel) The parking app used was hopeless. It took us 25 minutes sitting in the car in the rain to get it to work and set up our password choice and other details. Three times rejecting passwords that we have often used before saying they weren't strong enough and each time taking us all the way back to the beginning. Change or fix you app.

Staff were so welcoming kind and helpful! room was a good size and had everything we needed. Breakfast was tasty, would be nice to have some more hot vegetarian options such as veggie sausages or wilted spinach. However the fruit salad and other fruit options were delicious.

The mattress was quite hard, could maybe have done with a mattress topper. Wasn’t really a fan of the smell of the shower gel included in the room however this probably comes more down to personal preference (it was a bit masculine smelling) Would be nice to have extra hand towels This is all very much nitpicking as everything else was great!

Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice. I asked for poached eggs and vegetarian sausages and they were made and bought to me swiftly. Really great service. Parking was easy. Room exceeded my expectations, bed was wonderful and size of room ideal.

Reception staff were pleasant and professional but not friendly, I'm used to warmer welcomes. It was not busy in the hotel so i did feel like they could have been more hospitable. Dining staff were a little more friendly. Signage from car park to the reception could be clearer.

Booked this hotel as was let down by Ibis at short notice. Glad that they did cancel as this hotel was fantastic. There were 6 in our party and everyone was really impressed. Rooms are on the small side but the beds were super comfy. Breakfast was superb with a great selection. Shout out also to the friendly and helpful staff throughout hotel. Also within a 30min walk to Utilita Arena (although not the nicest area to walk through)

The hotel was probably better than expected in terms of the facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful at check in and breakfast. I would book again for business and private. The only thing I would say was that the car park had signage advising that you had to pay and display which we did then when we got into the hotel they advised us that it was free for patrons. This is not signed well at all.

Clean environment lovely room and it was not noisy even though we had the windo open at times.

I was abit apprehensive when booking this hotel after reading previous reviews but i found the reviews do not do it justice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty beyond my expectation and well worth the price . My room was on the 7th floor and was spacious and had a good view. There is a bus stop situated right outside on the street making up for there being no train stop nearby thus it was easy to commute.

Shower was in the bathtub which was too narrow for a comfortable shower. The first night was really cold and on enquiry was informed the heating comes in at 10pm. However they provided me with a space heater and extra duvet which sorted me out. Next nights I found the room already nice and warm Breakfast ends exactly at 9.30 on weekdays. I think they should extend to 10am

Glad we booked an executive double compared to the old tiny double rooms. Free parking. Convenient exit from hotel to car park. Walking distance from city centre - quieter neighbourhood.

So hot. Left windows open all night. Thanks for the portable fan but it was extremely noisy. Needs mor milk sachets. Only 2 available i.e. one each. I usually take 3 of these in one cup + needs at least enough teabags for a late night cuppa and an early morning one especially as we weren't having breakfast.

The staff were amazing, my journey had been fraught from a very tragic suicide on the line in-front of our train to an hours queue outside new street in the rain for a cab - so I was a drowned rat and not in the best state as I hobbled into the hotel with bags. Well the First Lady who I think is senior reception/ manager was soothing and just made me feel I was safe and could relax - my room was basic but it was funded by a charity for a conference so I didn’t want to upgrade but my advice is to upgrade as my rooms window was broken and the bath was very worn. Lots of bedding and extra towels under the bed. Breakfast is excellent! But the staff were all helpful and again this morning as I checked out they called a taxi for me.
