First impressions when we walked into this Gem of a place is that we were being expected and waited upon. The room was very spacious and very clean. Tea, coffee. Biscuits all sitting in a tray all ready for us after the very long drive that we had. The place is situated within walking distance to the beach. We did not use our car whilst we were there credit to the great transport services in Blackpool as well as the free parking we had during our stay. The buffet was amazing and a great breakfast, too.

For us as family, there was nothing not to like.

The Location of The Gurkha Hotel was perfect, it was close to all things needed and not far from seafront. The room was amazing and huge and very very clean. The staff were helpful and very kind. Our remote was not working for the tv so they replaced the whole tv as there was an issue. We had an evening meal at The Gurkha Hotel and that was one of the best meals whilst in Blackpool, well worth the money and the food was amazing.

There was not 1 thing we did not like about The Gurkha Hotel. It was perfect in every way possible. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Blackpool on the future!

The vicinity of the hotel to The Waterloo Rock venue which was the purpose of our trip was absolutely perfect. Although we aren’t fans of buffet food we had dinner prior to going out and it was very good. A great choice of Thai, Chinese and Nepalese dishes which were prepared and cooked well. The Nepalese lamb and vegetable dish were super spicy and absolutely delicious. We had English breakfast on the Sunday and it hit the spot nicely. We had no issues parking at the front of the hotel. The staff were all polite, courteous and friendly which is always the reason that gives you incentive to return. When we visit again for future gigs it will be our hotel of choice.

Basic clean hotel nice staff good shower comfy bed, good bar area and had a meal at the restaurant very good plus free parking at the front of the hotel (limited spacers but good if you can get one ) Good light in the bathroom, Main reason for booking was the closeness to The Waterloo Bar

Small things really, No shelf in the bathroom so no were to put your toiletries, had to put them on the floor !!! we did have noisy people next door, running up and down the corridor early hours of the morning shouting to each other !! but you can get that any were :( Very disappointed with Blackpool its self, It felt very unloved and dirty

Breakfast was delicous just right. Rooms very clean. Everything is well organiseert down to the last detail The staff very friendly and helpful Nice atmosphere in the pub always afew locals who join in and make everybody welcome home from home. The owner a fine man ready to help with everything very kind . Have not been to Blackpool for 30 years reallifesoap enjoyed our stay Will be back sooner than later. Thanks too all at the Gurkha. The service was incredible. They make you feel right at home. From the minute we entered the hotel till we left, we were treated with great care and consideration by the staff, and the owner really made it extra special Great with kids, and the hotel itself was super clean and has a beautiful interior.

Nothing not to like! Even breakfast was brilliant. You even get a discount if you're a guest for both the breakfast and dinner buffet!!

Comfortable bed, hot shower, good enough TV, clean enough, staff were pleasant, the parking was great, bar was okay and the bar prices were good. Quite a central location easy to get to the centre and to the pleasure beech (Blackpool is pretty big)

Was quite a long walk from the centre. The building was slightly shabby and not in top condition. (It was still well looked after and not overly concerning).

Nice large room with a huge bathroom that was on the back of the hotel so was nice and quiet. Very clean and fresh towels left when the room was cleaned the next morning. Hairdryer and decent size tv with a good selection of channels, and a bonus of a fridge in the room. Very friendly and attentive staff throughout the hotel, restaurant and bar. We ate in the restaurant on the first night, which is an all you can eat Asian buffet with a really good selection of delicious food. Well worth trying. Great value hotel and restaurant. We will definitely return.

Bathroom could have done with a blind on the window but I don't think we were overlooked 🤭

Staff were lovely and very accomodating. I had booked to take my kids to the Sandcastle swimming but forgot to pack towels. I was trusted to take towels, which I duly returned. I Travelled with my 11 and 9 year old who loved the artifacts and decoration. Lovely, clean spacious room/bathroom. Enjoyed the breakfast that we paid for additionally. Gutted we didnt have time to book in for a meal at the restraunt because it smelled amazing, plus the restraunt was packed- that's always a good sign. We'll definitely come back here again and next time I'm going to book an evening meal. Thank you for a short but comfortable break.

Limited free parking space to front of hotel could be a problem for guests.

We arrived late friday night we booked in, everything was straight foward and we were glad to see our rooms, my son and his dad shared the family room that was great and we had a double, i def had room envy everything was so comfy!! We had breakfast sat morning, the food was lovely the service NOTHING was too much trouble, we"d booked sat night for dinner, we had to change the time due to us getting stuck in traffic yet again was no problems they changed the time, the food in the Resturant Buffett was amazing so many dishes to try!! My son loved trying new foods a huge must try if your staying there!!
