Cheap hotel clean and warm owners trying hard to make the rooms nice

Shower cubicle very small The taking of a damage deposit does make you feel less welcome or pre judged however this will be down to bad past experience by the owners and is returned at check-out no problems

We’ve booked 2 separate rooms my sister and niece in one. Myself, my son, my partner and his niece in another. Rooms are a great quality for the price, Cosy and warm. Couldn’t really ask for much better, Affordable price, The staff where really friendly the man on reception even knocked at our door and gave the children drinks and crisp we thought this was a lovely touch and really made our stay there❤️ The only downfall was we didn’t have wifi and wasn’t sure if there was any at the hotel and it wasn’t mentioned, Either way we all loved our stay and we will definitely be coming back next time we visit.

The receptionist was very welcoming, friendly and was happy to answer any questions or queries. We had a minor issue with payment which he told us about over the phone prior to our arrival, and we managed to sort when checking in. Our room was an OK size for 2 people and a labrador, and was very clean. We liked the short walk to the beach and eateries near by. It was ideal for our short bank hol girl's trip! :)

The bathroom was a little small. Likely due to the way the building is, the walls were super thin as we could hear every conversation outside the room, and could hear people running up and down the hallways above us and on the ground floor! For perspective, I'm very hard of hearing and even I could hear everything!

The male member of staff on the first night (Friday) was very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. We had to request to change rooms as the bed in one room was incredibly uncomfortable (could feel every spring) and he did so without complaint and quickly. He was very friendly and accommodating to our group!!

The male member of staff on our second night was kind of rude. When mentioning in the morning that the shower temperature was far too hot - as in melt your skin off hot!! He just said next time bring a teabag??!! Not very professional!!

The lady who checked us in was polite, friendly and very helpful, she explained any details clearly and was warm and welcoming. Plenty of tea and coffee supplies and nice towels provided. The gentleman who was on reception and the bar in the evening was also very friendly and helpful. We love the fact that we could bring our 4legged family member with us too.

The bathroom is outdated, but considering it was private rather than shared, it was not an issue. Pillows were very firm so I did struggle to get comfortable even though the bed itself was very comfortable.

the staff were so kind and helpful and they were there anytime day and night. staff even played pool with us in the bar area. we took our dog with us and left him so we could go up the tower but he got distressed so the hotel kindly called me and we came back. very honest hotel as took extra night for dog but straight away said he’d made a mistake and refunded me in cash even though it was a card I paid with. we’re definitely coming back. 100000% . Thankyou to all the staff for a cosy, friendly, non invasive, self contained, on the beach stay. loved every second

The stairs were too much for me as I have anorexia and have circulation problems so I had to ask my children to do most of the upheaval of luggage. No parking on property .

Room was very clean and had everything you'd need for a short break. Staff were friendly and helpful in answering questions before and during our stay. Good location in the middle of Central and South Pier so was easy to walk everywhere.

They weren't kidding when they said the parking was a tight squeeze to get to! But there is plenty of other parking available either on the road or a church round the corner which the staff were very helpful in helping us locate a good spot.

great little hotel, sue (front of house) was very welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The fact we were able to take our dog added to our holiday, and the staff were very welcoming of our dog Bella. The family room was great if you wanted to sit somewhere else instead of your room and the bar, TV and pool table were an added bonus when the weather was poor.

Wouldn’t say there was anything I didn’t like, but the option of breakfast wasn’t available during our stay which was a shame but totally understand.

We booked this hotel as a last minute night away. Booked the morning we left, upon arrival, Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere. We had our dog with us in our stay which was not an issue either and we were more than happy to pay the £15 pet charge. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Would definitely book again, hopefully for longer next time!

Access to the parking is VERY tight but we managed getting the car in and out perfectly fine.
