Food was first class the owners were charming, cleanliness absolutely shone through.

At 89 years The stairs were difficult for me, in fairness the owners were not to know that.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was very good (thank you for the extra fried bread) and the location was perfect. I was attending an event at the Winter Gardens which is literally around the corner. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was at night considering how central the property is. Highly recommend this property.

The bed was a bit too firm for me but I'm the sort of person who likes super soft beds.

The venue suffered a major water leak just prior to our arrival. To their immense credit, the hosts contacted us promptly to let us know, and arranged for alternative accommodation nearby, with no hassle and no additional cost. I was a little disappointed as I was looking forward to the Norwood, having had friends raving about their own previous stays there. Under the circumstances, the hosts couldn't have done any better - unexpected issues happen, and we weren't inconvenienced in any way - the alternative venue was very good and just a short distance down the same road.

Lorraine and Geoff are fabulous hosts and cannot do enough for you. The whole place is spotlessly clean and the rooms are equipped with everything you could want or need. Great choice of freshly-cooked breakfast options, fantastic value for money. The location is ideal for me too.

Very very noisy folks in the room next door at 2am both Friday and Saturday night, but I appreciate that this cannot be helped and is in no way any fault of the hosts.

Excellent and a fair choice on the breakfast menu. Hosts were very helpful and couldn’t do enough to please. The whole place was very clean and tidy . Rooms were great with lots of finishing touches

Location was out of the way we could not find anywhere for a late drink after 10pm . Our own little village back home had more life at night

Top full English breakfast, cooked to perfection plus lots of choice if you wanted something lighter - or as well as! The location was perfect, very central and only a 5 min walk from the coach station. The room was lovely, clean and with lots of little extras. The proprietors Geoff and Lorraine were a lovely couple - very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. If we go back to Blackpool again, we will definitely book The Norwood.

Made very welcome by the hosts. Our room had everything we needed, kettle, hair dryer, small fridge. I advised before visit I was vegan and they put a vegan Kit Kat in room next to coffee cups. Also had plenty for me at breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Ensuite toilet and shower were also clean and lovely fresh towels. The host recommended some restaurants for dinner and we had delicious meal at a Cantonese restaurant nearby.

The owner Lorraine and Geoff where very welcoming, the place was very clean, very great breakfast provided and most of all IT WAS CLOSE TO EVERYTHING!! Hefty the dog was a bonus, overall we had a great experience we will be back, highly recommended

We didn't stay long enough and didn't try the bar tenders skills (next time)

Loved the little personal touches, tissues, cotton wool balls, ear buds, mints, latte, cappuccinos & hot chocolate. Nice comfortable bed, breakfast was excellent, host's warm & friendly, 5 minutes walk to the prom & coral island, 10 minutes to winter gardens, we'll definitely be booking The Norwood in the future.

We can't say there was anything wrong with our stay at The Norwood, we will definitely be stopping there in the future.

Lorraine and Geoff were very welcoming, the B&B was very clean and close to where we wanted to be. The breakfast was very good and they couldn't do enough for you. Lovely little touches in the room aslo, our little girl was very happy and didn't want to come home.
