The basics were all covered. The room was clean, comfortable and very spacious. Guests have an allocated fridge space, which is a great bonus. Ours contained an embarrassing amount of Gin, Tonic and wine. Breakfast was spectacularly good and varied. However, what really makes this place special are the hosts, Jamie and Lee. They work tirelessly to ensure everything is perfect and still manage to maintain a joyous sense of humour and disposition towards guests. My favourite little treat was that Jamie would make subtle improvements to the room and common areas. It appeared to be my task to identify them and woe betide me if I failed. I'd get that look!

The only thing we didn't like was leaving.

After looking at the reviews on the Cavendish all we can say is that everything about the Cavendish could not be faulted. On arrival after a long car journey, we were very impress with the outside appearance and location. We were met by Jamie who was really friendly and shown to our room (5). Excellent room very clean and all you needed. Breakfast was very good with a choice of options. We were looked after by Jamie who was very easy to talk to and helpful with any queries we had. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Cavendish if you are visiting Bournemouth. You will not be disappointed

Could not find fault with the Cavendish or the owner we would highly recommend.

Firstly the lovely warm welcome on arrival. We were shown to our spotlessly clean,spacious and well equipped room which was serviced daily. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location is fantastic only a short walk to the beach and pier area and all the shops and great places to eat. Our hosts Jamie and Lee were a amazing and very attentive to any needs including a lovely surprise for my wife’s birthday which made our stay even more special. They were always on hand with ideas and suggestions for places to visit and good restaurants. Our stay included breakfast which was delicious and really set you up for the day. All in all the perfect place to stay for us and we will definitely be returning.

The only thing we didn’t like was leaving.

Lee and Jamie certainly know how a b and b should be run. The attention to detail was second to none. Breakfast excellent as was the service and set us up for the day. Everywhere was spotless and very tidy. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they made us feel welcome at all times. We would return here without hesitation, and would recommend it to anyone else. If in Bournemouth again, we would not think about staying anywhere but the Cavendish..

Nothing we could think of - because it was raining when we got there, they even came outside with umbrellas to help us in with our bage !!!!!

When we arrived Jamie came out to meet us and even helped us bring our luggage in, before showing us to our room The whole building was modern and tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. Jamie & Lee, the owners, work very hard to make sure you have everything you could need. Our room had a proper hairdryer, fresh clean towels daily, free toiletries, tea, coffee, water, milk and biscuits replenished daily. Both guys were very approachable and gave us tips on places to visit and eat - when asked. I liked that they were always available if you needed something but you could come and go anonymously. Fantastic hot breakfast very nicely presented and cereals, toast and large home made pots of freshly cut fruit and yogurts. Plentiful pots of tea too!

Nothing!

The choice at breakfast was excellent. The full english was superb. Service was to the highest degree. Jamie and Lee were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The location was great for both the beach, walks and the shops. This is a must stay. The room was lovely spotless and comfortable. There was a lovely hospitality tray in the room. It was just purfect.

The only problem was having to come home from a fantastic hotel.

The location was within easy walking distance of the town centre and the beach. The room had a good sized flat screen TV and en-suite bathroom and shower facilities. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of options. The Full English Breakfast was superb. The owners were very friendly and could not do enough for us.

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left Jamie and Lee couldn't do enough for us, add this standard of service to the fabulous accommodation they have created and you have the perfect stay which is exactly what we had! Can't pick any one area out because everything was 10 out of 10 (except breakfast which was 10++, could have stayed half the morning in the wonderful dining room chatting to Jamie and our fellow guests but with such a location, such brilliant weather, and such great tourist tips had to get out and explore.) The location was perfect, just a short 10 min walk to the beach. There are local shops close by for supplies if needed, snacks, etc. The breakfast was excellent, the fresh fruit pots were great. Free parking was a bonus. The host was wonderful and provided lots of helpful tips and suggestions on places to go and visit. The room was kept clean with fresh towels daily and the bed was very comfortable. It was good to see a full size hairdryer in the room. Really nice to have daily bottles of water at no extra cost.

Although a fan was provided we did find that the room was quite hot to sleep in. Otherwise everything else was really good, nothing to complain about.

The property was lovely and wonderful host, the breakfast was a good variety of choice and all cooked well.

The water left a lot to be desired, when we ran a bath the water was awful and you felt dirtier getting out than getting in, the water left a dirty ring around the bath😞
