I loved my stay. It has everything you will need. A large closet and a hairdryer (a good one - was perfect for my long/thick hair) as well. No problem to contact the host. He was around from time to time and asked if I needed new towels or anything. There are only four steps down to the bathroom, no big deal. Also the bathroom is big enough to get dressed in there. Or just take a fast look if anyone is around and simply cover yourself with the towel to walk back to your room. The breakfast was good and you can help yourself. I like this so much more than eating breakfast in loud hotel restaurants. There was a selection of bread, fruits, yoghurt, ... . Water, coffee, tea, chocolate, and different juices. Everything was clean. I would come here again.

There is nothing bad to say about this place.

I was only here for two nights but I really enjoyed my stay. The location is perfect, only a 10-15 minutes walk to the beach. The check-in was very easy and all the instructions received prior to my arrival were clear and detailed. My room was small but very cosy and with all the facilities needed: hair dryer, tea & coffee, small desk, comfortable bed. The private bathroom (close to the room) was perfect. All the guesthouse is extremely clean and quiet. The breakfast is good and you have plenty of choices. Excellent communication with Mo who is very friendly and discreet. I felt at home and I appreciated to be really independent during my stay. I will be back!

Just before we left to go to the property, we rang up just to let the owner know we were on our way, and I was pleasantly surprised to be informed that our room had been upgraded. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast options were cereal, toast, croissants and choc au pains. There was a selection of juices in the fridge, as well as milk and muller corner yogurts. There were several single Cafetieres that you add ground coffee to yourself, so you can decide how strong it is. There was a small selection of fresh fruit as well. We stayed here to attend a show at the BIC and it was just a five minute walk away. The town is also a 5 minute walk away, and there are several restaurant chains as well as independent restaurants within walking distance.

The only thing that I would say is that the street outside was a bit noisy at times. This was nothing to do with the hotel. Because it is so near the town centre, people leaving the area use the street and felt the need to shout at the top of their voices as they walked along.

Very close to local bars/restaurants/town centre and beach. Room was immaculate and was sent a message to ask if we would like our room to be cleaned. Breakfast consists of doing your own, which is a help yourself to breads, cereals, fruits, yogurts, fresh juices, pastries and preserves teas and coffee's Simple breakfast but sets you up for the day. Nice to have hot water and a powerful shower Area is quite quiet and no matter which way you go when leaving the property you always head town or to the beach and in a short distance.

People who didn't want to wipe clean the area they had used when it's all supplied to help for others to sit down and enjoy there breakfast without cleaning before them.

It’s quite cozy and a nice study environment very friendly host and nice breakfast room great atmosphere especially in the morning with the dew in the air. It’s also close to the Hilton where you can have breakfast or dinner if you’d like overall really great property with a fantastic host and beautiful area

Its perfect it’s just that it’s on a hill I know can’t change the terrain but If you have back issues keep that in mind Also Noisy neighbors the house two doors down but other than that beautiful

The Bamboo Guesthouse was cosy, clean, felt like a home away from home, location is central to town, and 5-10mins walk to the beach. The manager Mo was supportive & and accommodating when requested to arrive earlier than check-in time & we were able to leave luggage after checkout time to spend a little more time in bournemouth. Would definitely come back to stay when I come back to Bournemouth.

Liked everything, just personal preference, wish there was a small fridge for asthma inhaler and to store water, but it did not ruin our stay here.

The room was lovely and very clean the bathroom was spotless. It was good to have a hairdryer and fan in the room aswell as really good tea/coffee making facilities the bed was also very comfortable. The breakfast options were brilliant, so much variation, all fresh and changed daily again the room very clean. The location is very good and was close to everything we needed but we didn't get any noise disturbance from the town centre at all. We did not meet the hist Mo but communication was great and very helpful - there is also a lot of good helpful local information on the notice board as you walk into the guesthouse. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again when in the area

Large room with lots of light, comfortable bed, lovely self serve breakfast. Easy entry system, quite close to square which is fab for bars & restaurants. Lovely hosts left some chocs to celebrate our event.

The hill from sea front but this was only because my husband had injured his back just before coming!

The room was clean, well maintained, with tea & coffee-making facilities (kept replenished) and a small, but modern, functional ensuite bathroom. The self-serve breakfast room was clean, well appointed, friendly and well stocked with juice, cereal, pastry and bread/toaster etc. so everything needed and on-hand to start the day. Location is good! Central, with easy access to lower park (and the beach and town shops) and a huge choice of good places to eat in the town centre. Parking is recommended at BH2 as close by and (seems to be) the cheapest around at £8.50 /day. A bonus too was to have clear instructions within a welcome message from the owner for hotel access and room key retrieval to cater for late arrival (10:30pm in our case and worked well).

The room was in a good location near to the Bournemouth international centre. The room was cosy and nicely decorated . It was clean and provided a nice tray with teas and coffee. The manager was contactable by phone and checked that everything was ok. Breakfast was a self service continental style with adequate provisions.

Parking was not available outside for the two days we stayed although paid parking was in walking distance which was a steep walk so not easy for people with walking problems or disabled.
