Overall I was really happy with our 1 night stay. Good price, clean room, nice owner and staff. Close to the beach and Tesco if you need groceries for the beach. Breakfast was charged separately but it was good too. Bed mattress was too soft for me, but I think it's a personal prefference. As others mentioned before the water in the shower might be tricky, but we didn't experience any problems really as I think we showered before everybody else came back from the beach. Hotel car park is limited and spaces are really narrow, so if you come with kids it's better to park on the road. I might use this hotel again in the future for short stay.
Family room on the top floor- I was aware of that thanks to the reviews here, so it was OK for a 1 night stay with 1.5 year old toddler although I think I need to mention that it is not very safe with open windows as they open from the bottom (no air con). TV didn't work at 5am but we didn't ask anyone to fix it that early in the morning, we just red daily news online (no big deal for us really).

We have stayed in this hotel before in 2019 , however it has been re-furbished , and everything was like new . The room we had was lovely , spotlessly clean, warm ,comfortable beds, large television, quiet, well set out, very nice decor . Top marks, the lady who booked us in at the hotel was very freindly and helpful, when she saw us she offered to put us in a different room on the ground floor . I am 73 and my wife is 70, but we are both fit and healthy, so we were quite happy with room 20 . We don't eat Breakfast so we booked room only . As we had been there before, we knew the location which is Great for the town centre, the beach, the pier, and the lovely park in the centre of town . We would Highly Recommend this hotel, and we would definately stay there again . We were very pleased and couldn,t fault anything, and it was Great Value for Money . Thank You Cecil Court Hotel First Class.
The only thing that could have been better, would have been warmer weather, as it was January, we had Sunshine, but being winter it wasn,t very warm , but it was lovely and warm in the hotel . Brilliant.

The lovely lady on reception was so helpful and accommodating, she changed my room as I have trouble with stairs so she put me on the lower floor. She was very cheerful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable and had everything you would need. Shower was good, plenty of hot water. Great value for money.
Felt quite cold, there was no heating on, it was a cold, wet, windy day, was told it was on a timer, but I arrived at 3.30, went out at 6pm and still no heating, when I got back at 8pm my radiator in my room was barely warm so I felt chilled, it could only have been on an hour or so, this time of year heating should be on a lot longer. It didn't spoil my stay, but it should be addressed. The bathroom in my room was a bit small, sink was tiny, had to fill my kettle with the glass as couldn't get kettle under the tap, you wouldn't be able to have a proper wash as so shallow.

Arrived way before check in time to ask if I could park at the property and return later to check in. Was met with a lovely, friendly smile and told that I could check in there and then, but would need to wait till a bit later to actually go up to the room (which was perfectly fine with me as we were heading down to the beach anyway) The staff are really helpful and so friendly, you feel very welcome here. The room was lovely and clean with comfortable beds. We were pleased to see 3 extra pillows in the wardrobe but unfortunately the pillows were very lack lustre so even with 2 each, they weren’t enough. The property is in a great destination for heading to Bournemouth pier, only a 10 minute walk.
The only thing were the pillows not being full enough but this wouldn’t stop me from returning.

Cheap, clean and convenient, lovely breakfast. Iron and hairdryer in room.
Wrongly informed before booking that parking would be reserved for me as I have blue badge. Receptionist disbelieved me and asked to see email, then he failed to apologise on seeing it and seemed to blame us whilst also criticising other staff and the expectations of guests in general. Rules of the hotel were explained as if we were naughty children rather than a couple in our 60s, and without a smile or any pleasantries. Made it plain he wanted us to have breakfast later than our chosen 8am. A grumpy; rude and miserable "welcome".

We like the location of the hotel and the Goat and Tricycle pub is just around the corner which is a great bonus. Our room was clean and comfortable. We didn't sample the breakfast as this was not included in the price and it had to be confirmed by 8pm the evening before so we opted to eat elsewhere. The location is good to walk into the town (we usually walk from the train station and stop to say hello to the Bournemouth goats en-route!) It's not too far from the sea front and that is a lovely walk. The hotel kindly allowed us to leave our luggage with them whilst we went shopping and colllected them at the end of the day.
No hand towels in the en-suite and the water temperature from the power shower was a bit variable but otherwise okay. Would perhaps sample breakfast next time but can't comment on food

Really lovely chap booked me in and let me keep my bag there as I was early Tasty breakfast I heard a lady asking for gluten free bread which they got for her Room had everything in I needed TV kettle towels tea coffee milk and sugar (a drinking chic would've been perfect) hair dryer iron I forgot my ear plugs and eye mask so was woken first morning by a group in next door rooms checking out early (no reflection on the hotel just happy shouty guests) but the 2nd night had a lovely sleep
Curtains let a lot of light in (personal preference)

I liked that the facilities (toilet and shower) were contained in the room. The tea, coffee, and kettle were appreciated touches, even if I didn't avail them. Room was fairly spacious given the en suite facilities. WiFi worked a charm. Key system was easy to grasp. Staff were both informative and friendly. As I was visiting to see Judas Priest play, I appreciated the proximity to the venue. Room was cheap in price only—definitely great value. Would definitely consider again if visiting Bournemouth.
Only negative was no food-heating facilities, but being able to bring food in made up for that.

Great location for the town, beach and bus into Poole. Allowed to leave car in the car park for the 4 days we were there for only ten pounds. Overall reasonable price for the stay.
Should have had fresh towels after two days and not make them last for four days. More milk needed for tea and coffee. Maybe some darker black out curtains or blinds at the three windows as the room is very bright which is nice but not when you get woken up at five in the morning. Good friendly staff on reception, bar and waitress cooking breakfast.

Staff very friendly. Clean room. Needs bit updating. Tv above single bed difficult to watch from the single could be repositioned. Plug.socket above dressing table not working so meant had to move kettle to by the bed. Breakfast good choice of bagels crumpets toast but cereal child based no cornflakes which would of been nice, there was rice crispies however so just my preference.
Um the fact that towels very small and not enough off them just one towel each which was a small bath towel.
