Central location, very clean room and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. Bathroom was large and very good water pressure.

Generally Bournemouth at this time of year is very expensive. We had 1 room with a bunk bed and 2 single beds though all were solid beds. After three weeks we stayed in three cities in Spain, all centrally located and we booked apartments in each which were fully equipped with lifts, washing machines, smart TVs and everything you would wish. The prices there were a two thirds to a half less than prices for just a room in Bournemouth. No fault of the Dophin Hotel as they were on par with the market rate.

EVERYTHING! From the minute of booking I had enquired about parking and got a response straight away, Upon mine & my daughters arrival Lena & Miles welcomed us with open arms, from standing outside as we arrived helping me park my car on their drive as close as possible to greeting us with warm heart felt welcoming signing in. Literally felt the home to home connection I booked my next visit with out even checking our room out 1st. Lena has the motherly atmosphere around her so much that when I woke up early hours the following morning with a raging ear ache I rung the buzzer & asked if she had any pain killers, Lena straight away went downstairs and soon reappeared with 2 types alongside her advice of nearest medical place being Good Friday which was so helpful. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't of been able to leave the room and break the promise of taking my daughter to the beach. Miles was so welcoming he helped us in with our luggage aswell as helping my daughter out with hers on our departure. We had a conversation outside the front for ages which it felt like we had been friends for years! Not just met and put us up as guests. I've been travelling down to Bournemouth since January and stayed in other hotels and felt uneasy and uncomfortable but Dolphin Hotel completely the opposite! I highly reccomend Dolphins hotel and the owners Lena & Miles with out a doubt Looking forward to my return next week

Host was awesome, room was very spacious and adequately equipped. Location was perfect.

I'm more Goldilocks than Goldilocks when it comes to beds, so it's probably just me, but I did spend the entire night feeling like the mattress on the single bed was trying to roll me off one side or the other. My fault though, if I'd splashed out a bit more for a double I'm sure it would've been all good. And if I need an overnight in Bournemouth again, I'd look to book a room at Dolphins.

Liked how clean the room was also the bathroom was spotless. We had a really nice stay here, everything was perfect. Felt a bit cold on the evenings , just asked at reception and was given a electric heater and also a extra duvet which was perfect. Everything was local, shops, bars, restaurants. Walking distance.

Only down side for myself was walking back up to the hotel as from every side it was uphill and with a bad knee was not a good idea. Ended up getting quiet a few ubers back up.

we booked a twin room but were given a small suite with 2 bedrooms so we were very pleased. It was clean and comfortable and the hosts were very pleasant and helpful. We stayed room only so cannot comment on breakfast. There was parking right outside the hotel which was very convenient. The situation is perfect, a short walk to shops, gardens, beach and pier - even the entertainment hub was close by.

The curtains in the single room did not meet which meant loss of privacy - I hung a bath towel over the curtain rail to bridge the gap and wedged the curtains behind the window handle, which solved the problem.

This is the second time we have visited and Dolphins Hotel is clean, affordable and comfortable. We like the hosts who are very helpful and accommodating.

Parking was probably best described as being “competitive” because the accommodation was so popular for the weekend we visited. There was also a bit of street noise. However, overall, we were really impressed.

Met at the door with the friendly host Miles who carried my bag upstairs. Comfy single room. Never a problem whatever I asked for e.g. to borrow a hairdryer, the best walking route to the pavilion. Cooked breakfast was one of the best !!

No complaints. Client next door playing music at half 3 in the morning - but not the fault of the hotel. I tapped on his door and he stopped. Shame it rained all day Thursday - but again, not the fault of the hotel

Owners very welcoming, accomodating ; great location, near the Town Centre and also dog friendly beach, very modest room, however all I needed was a hot shower and a good sleep which I did. Very clean, bed very comfy. Breakfast was filling , nicely cooked. This hotel is perfect for someone who doesn’t have high standard expectations as it is modest . It is more like Guest House. I will stay at this hotel again as it provides just exactly what I need.

I was missing a wardrobe. Too much space for store clothes but 1 wardrobe would be perfect . Hangers were provided but difficult to find spot to hang them .

The central location was perfect for a visit to Bournemouth, rooms were fairly basic but clean, comfortable and well appointed, and the hosts were actually quite exceptional for such a context - welcoming and helpful in every way they could be.

Limited parking was a bit more problematic than we expected, but the hosts are very familiar with those local issues and went out of their way to find us immediately practical alternatives and solutions.

Cozy, well located hotel with very nice hosts. The room was superb. A chiffonier with a kettle, one small fridge, two cups and three small glasses (for a couple and a child).Tea, coffee, milk & sugar. A wardrobe with hangers that we really appreciated. Comfortable pillows and mattress. Bathroom quite spacious. Towels available, soap too. Everything was clean in a quiet location. We did not miss anything. We will stay again next time we are in Bournemouth.

The Wi-Fi signal sometimes was weak.
