Location was about 4 miles from Brighton but there was a bus stop outside so easy to jump on the bus for £2 each way , there was a lovely little Indian restaurant down the road which was lovely .

Even though I asked for a room away from the main road it was still very noisy with traffic all night , there was a bit of mould around the shower door , it was quite noisy from the bar as there was a certain door down there which we could hear banging quite often which wasn’t a big problem as the bar closes quite early , all the doors on the rooms have to be slammed as they are stiff .

Check in was easy. The room was spacious and comfortable with a nice bathroom. Nice and clean. Room was nicely appointed and decorated. The shower was easy to use. Breakfast was really good. Beautifully presented, tasty orange juice, they had soya milk, good selection of teas. Easy check out and good parking facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended

These are minor things. The sealant around the outside shower needed replacing, there was some road noise as we were at the front of the hotel and an offer of more toast at breakfast would have been nice.

We liked the ability to park free of charge and the convenience of bus stop nearby. We found the evening dining staff (Ellie) and breakfast staff (don't know names) very pleasant and efficient. We liked the size of our room.

We were put in a disabled access room with a wet room. We didn't need these facilities and found some of the wet room equipment in need of repair- toilet flusher loose, shelf over sink meant difficult to access, taps so fierce to get hot water we got splashed each time, no plug in basin and shower (good pressure) but too much of floor flooded. This slightly spoilt our stay.

Staff were super friendly and very helpful particularly when we accidentally locked ourselves out of our room. We arrived during an unexpected heatwave and were delighted to find we had been provided with 2 tower fans to help cool the room. This was fantastic forward thinking and we were super impressed, and very grateful. The room was very comfortable, location was safe and quiet. Onsite car park a huge bonus and a short bus ride into Brighton City Centre. Breakfast was delicious and served till 10am so we didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn to enjoy it. All in all excellent value for money and we will certainly be booking again

Beautiful 1930’s ish building, tastefully and purposely furnished also on the main road in and out of Brighton with a good bus route if we needed it. All of the staff were amazing to us whilst on our stay, especially Charlie who let us check in early because of our circumstances, this stopped all of our (My) anxieties and stress and gave me an hour where I could distress before our appointment. The breakfast this morning was amazing my partner had the chefs choice with the steak on it, I had the salmon. The next time we come to Brighton we will definitely come back to stay. There was only one little niggle, which is/was the bed was quite hard but that is the only thing but you can live with that as you aren’t there for long. Honestly cannot rate the staff and hotel highly enough and I do mean everyone from the cleaners to the managers they are all polite, professional and will help you as much as they are able too to make our stay as comfortable as they possibly could All I can say to you all the time I spent in Brighton was to do with Family issues but the next weekend we actually choose to to come we will definitely be back to stay here

We were welcomed by friendly staff, we booked in and then had a fabulous meal in the restaurant, our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast served by a lovely, jolly lady. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay there again.

Nothing, it was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It was easy to park, lots of spaces, the staff in the restaurant, booking in and breakfast were all welcoming and helpful. Could not complain about any of it.

Staff we’re all lovely.

Assisted room: one handle by toilet was not fully secured to the wall. The toilet rail did not lock in the up position. Water pressure was excellent but the sink was to small for the tap and water easily splashed out. The recessed manhole cover needed to be raised to the floor level (flat) otherwise it was a big bump in and out for the wheelchair. The bed was comfortable but with a high base transfer from wheelchair to bed needed a transfer board.

We love Miller & Carter Restaurants and after briefly visiting Brighton a few weeks before we noticed this hotel/Restaurant and decided to return and stay here for our wedding anniversary stay in Brighton. the rooms where great, quite small and compact but when you look at the building you can see it’s an old property so space is at a premium. the rooms where spotless and very quiet on the night to sleep considering it’s road side. Ehe breakfast is the best we’ve ever had! steak for breakfast and coffee, tea and juice on tap. it’s worth staying just for the breakfast! Evening meals where obviously amazing too… Parking was free and safe/secure and very easy bus routes into the centre of Brighton When we return to Brighton we will try to book this hotel first.

We enjoyed the stay. nothing to pick at. If you are wanting a 5* hotel with big rooms and bathrooms then this isn’t for you. but for a very comfortable stay with superb food and travel links this is gold

Large double bedded room. Very clean. Large shower room. Excellent breakfast although continental options not available. Fan available in room. Plenty of parking. Restaurant looks really nice nice but as I am vegetarian we chose not to use it.

Breakfast menu not available on line prior to booking. The cooked food was excellent but not all want such a big meal in the morning. I had the scrambled eggs which I assume was at 3 eggs on 2 pieces of toast. My husband had a full English.

Easy to get to from LGW having flown in for a friend’s 60th Birthday Party at the Greyhound Stadium.

Breakfast menu could be a lot better by including healthier options eg muesli, berries and yogurt. Also to have granary/whole meal bread rather than sour dough which was t even fresh!! No wonder they toast it - which I don’t eat. Also room 104 was very dark inside despite being a nice day. Also no view whatsoever - just a wall!!
