Friendly staff, bright and comfortable, excellent beer, excellent beer garden. Food was great, the ox tail curry was superb and I will be back for more. Parking was possible when I needed it which isn't something that generally applies in Brighton and Hove. Central enough location to enjoy Hove, quiet enough that I had a good night's sleep each time.

The room was warm from the sunshine but with windows open and a fan it was ok. I didn't like that I couldn't book continuous nights next week and the week after, the word has got out and this place is popular! Good luck to the wonderful team running the place, it seems you are doing the right thing.

Lovely pub with amazing food and a stunning beer garden tucked away. The staff were very accommodating and helped me hide a birthday cake in the fridge to surprise my partner with. The room was bigger than I thought, they had free tea and coffee for us and the bathroom was lovely!

We went during 25° weather and the room was super hot in the morning even with the window open, but we had cooled off in the lovely shower!

The room was so comfy, really lovely and quiet despite being above a pub - we both slept so well! The separate entrance felt very secure and made it feel like we had our own place. The area, though a bit far from the centre, is lovely and quiet with lots of shops to explore and not far to go to the sea.

The room could have been cheaper for what it was, but it was a good bargain compared to other places in town.

Very good location. Central yet quiet. Good pub with good Sunday lunch. The room was compact but had everything you needed-including great sized shower, tea, coffee , bottled and filtered water hairdryer and iron! Really interesting decor too. The bed was very comfortable.

Window opened onto the access stairs. Not really a problem as there are only 4 rooms but still…

We loved our stay, thank you so much! The staff was incredible and the guest house and the room absolutely beautiful and cozy. The location is amazing with many options for bus and train and it was very close to the beach. We also really loved the complimentary cookies, haha. :)

Only small things, it was a windy night and we heard a lot of bangs on the roof troughout the night that bothered us a tiny bit. We also would have loved a curtain for the window in the ceiling. Also no one really told us how to check out so we had a bit of a hassle with that as the check out time was before the staff was available. But communication worked really well!

Very nicely located. The people are very friendly. The room was operational and cute. Great price. Right above the pub, meaning you don't need to go far for a nice drink.

There was a smell of humidity in the room. There was not enough toilet paper for the days we would be there but we asked and it was immediately provided. Not the easiest room to access if you carry a luggage because of the stairs but nothing too difficult. The fact that it's right above the pub can also be bad since the music can be heard although it doesn't go later than 12:00.

A vibrant, cheerful and welcoming pub in the middle of Hove. Great location. The room was perfect for an overnight business stay. The staff couldn't have been any more welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable with all the bits and bobs you could ever need. The accommodation has a separate entrance so you can come and go as you please. The rooms as soundproofed so you can be assured of a peaceful stay.

Parking could be challenging however there are lots of places available at very reasonable rates on the Your Parking Space App.

We had a really enjoyable stay, checking in and out was a breeze and the staff were very friendly and helpful. As it was our first time in Brighton it was helpful to have lots of information too on travel and things to do in our room. The room was nice and very clean and the plentiful complimentary snacks and teas were an unexpected treat!

As it was very warm over our stay so my partner wasn’t too keen on the thick duvet, however we were very grateful for the fan included in the room to help us cope.

Great location, slightly off the main road, but an easy walk to Hove centre. The team were really welcoming. Our room was great, clean and modern. The rock on the hospitality tray was a lovely touch.

This is a great pub with rooms. Our room was a little on the small side, but it was a pub and not a hotel, so nothing too unusual. Breakfast would be a nice addition, but it is very clear when you book that breakfast isn't available. However, there are plenty of cafe's within a short walk.

Lovely friendly staff. Quirky room with modern facilities, clean and well presented. Nice additions like premium still and sparkling water bottles and nice collection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate. Nice big Comfy bed!

Noise from what sounded like a hundred glass bottles being thrown into the recycling bins early in the morning and woke me up. No breakfast included but wasn’t a huge issue, biscuits and coffee in the room helped to fill the gap.
