Excellent location very close to the seafront and to Church road, Hove, with lots of cafes and restaurants . Very quiet street . Walking distance from Hove station . Good tea and coffee making facilities , Wi-Fi was free and TV was fine . There was a hairdryer . It was more or less expected for a 3 star guest house . Very reasonably priced . Fine for a short stay . Ours was only one night so not too bothered .
Reception staff a little off hand but it was out of season . The room was quite hot and reception was closed by then so we couldn’t ask about turning heating down . Window not easy to open .

Okay booked this as a last min decision to visit Brighton for the night and it really did not disappoint! In fact, it totally exceeded our expectations. The room was super comfortable, bed cosy and literally 5 min walk to Hove seafront. Took about 30 mins or so for us to walk directly into Brighton town (lovely walk with multiple stops for coffee, snacks and retail therapy). Owner of the property we didn't get to meet but they were super helpful and very responsive.
bathroom could have been a littttttle bit cleaner but it wasn't dirty dirty - think it just needs a good lick of paint! :)

The room was a good size. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was not too small and everything worked. The room was warm. The room was secure. There was enough bedding to stay warm. Everything worked and we were comfortable. The room was quiet. We got a good night sleep every night. We would stay there again.
Checkin could have been smoother. The reception was closed and we had to communicate via the intercom with a little difficulty. It all worked and we got into our room OK. On street public parking is hit and miss. There may or may not be a spot in the street. We were lucky to get a spot in the street but it was the last one and it was just luck. We decided to leave the car any pay the day parking fee about £7.80 and catch the bus to Brighton rather than risk not finding parking. The bus was easy using credit card tap on tap off.

Great location close to the seafront in Hove. Short walk to Hove train station and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Excellent value for money for a long weekend in June. Very helpful welcome and check in was straightforward. My room was on the top floor and was large though my friend's double room on the same floor was smaller but perfectly adequate.
No breakfast but I knew this when I booked. There are plenty of places to eat a short walk away. The room was very hot but not the hotel's fault as it was a very warm weekend. The fan helped a bit. The bathroom is tired and a bit tight with all the sanitary wear but perfectly serviceable. Cleanliness could be improved. A little concerning that the only fire exit is the main stairs especially being on the third floor.

I was able to phone ahead to arrange a convenient check-in time. carol; the manager was there to meet me when I arrived and was friendly and helpful. I really liked the large double room as it was nicely decorated and fitted out. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also very good with a large bath and the shower was easy to operate. There was lots of hot water available and plenty of towels. Both rooms were commendably clean, as were the hallways and other communal areas. The tv and Wi-Fi worked fine and there was good mobile phone reception. Seafield House is in a very quiet location, with no noisy clubs and bars nearby, or busy traffic outside, yet it is close to the town's amenities, including the railway station. The sea is about a five minute walk away. Turn left for a leisurely stroll to Brighton. My preference was to turn right and enjoy the quieter beaches near Hove's bowling Green and croquet lawn.

It was the perfect location for us to be near the sea and local restaurants when visiting family. A nice sized room with decent sized light bathroom.
The lack of a larger mirror was a small detail and probably wouldn't bother many people. The window couldn't be opened to stay open and I do like fresh air as I sleep. No wardrobe to place clothes and only a couple of coathangers to dangle from a hook wasn't the best option. Thankfully only staying for two nights didn't pose much of an issue again but any longer isn't ideal.

Great location.. just a short walk to all you need.. room clean enough.. very dated but adequate
Parking not great.. the car park is around the corner but we couldn’t get in as the headroom was under 2metres We was in a transit Had to fathom the parking restrictions on the street but not that bad once you have the App (PayByPhone) In the Room the toilet was in far to small a space. When you sit on it you are touching the wall on the right and the side of the Bath on the left, to give you an idea you can’t open your legs once sat down.

Lovely lady made me welcome, very clean room, good WiFi, very good value for what I paid. Shops were near. I found somewhere to have dinner and the surrounding area was busy with the sea front not far away.
The volume control on the remote was a bit difficult, to be honest I didn't want the TV so no real problem but could have been for another guest.

Well situated - close to several restaurants, the high street and the beachfront. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Although there is no parking available, it is well-serviced by taxis and other transport.
The en-suite bathroom is quite small and could do with some re-thinking on the layout. Overall, this is a minor complaint and for a short stay did not bother us too much. However, a bit more space in the bathroom would be great for a longer stay.

Convenient location close to both the beach and Hove station. Great for an overnight stopover.
The building isn’t well soundproofed, so we had a fair amount of noise from other guests in their rooms or coming and going from the house. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and the shower in the en suite was extremely small and didn’t drain properly. We were only there for one night so it was manageable, but we’d hesitate to book again for a longer trip.
