We stayed here to celebrate our 20 years together. We let them know this was why, and the little touches, such as a card from the staff with a hand drawn picture of a stork (I'm pregnant), was such a lovely touch. We had dinner and breakfast here, the food was lovely. There was an issue with one of the meals, but that was quickly and appropriately rectified. I had a lovely pregnancy massage, and my partner had a head and neck massage. All the staff we so friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back again.

Room was spacious and well appointed. Gym and pool were excellent. All the staff were unfailingly courteous and helpful. Only slight downside was a very limited menu in the restaurant and the bar pretty soulless. All in all, very good.

We arrived on the Friday night and had a Valentine's Day dinner in the restaurant, which was amazing. The staff were so welcoming and the special Valentine's Day menu was delicious, with prosecco on arrival a lovely touch. The new rooms are beautifully finished and I love the new electronic Do Not Disturb/Please Make Up The Room buttons. The next night we ordered room service which was equally delicious. The whole place feels high quality and luxurious without being pretentious or overbearing. The staff are excellent, really friendly, helpful and welcoming, and very professional. We will definitely be returning to stay again.

That we had to leave so soon!

This is a brilliant place to stay. Really comfortable and well appointed rooms and bathrooms, great leisure and spa facilities and delicious food. Our waitress in the restaurant made some excellent drink recommendations, which we really enjoyed and it was great to have a carafe in our room to use to collect chilled water from the fountain near reception. There was an excellent radiator in the room, allowing us to set the temperature how we wished, much more so than I have experienced anywhere else before. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept really well. Finally, the 11am checkout and ability to use the spa facilities after that gave us lots of flexibility when planning our morning, which was brilliant.

Maybe one more carafe for drinking water in the room would be helpful?

The room was perfect, with a supremely comfortable bed and lots of space around is so that the room felt spacious and not cramped. There was lots of hanging and drawer space for coats and clothes, a safe, large tv, and a kettle for teas and coffees. The option of a room service supper was brilliant as that allowed us to make use of the spa facilities a little longer and then have a more intimate dinner in the room. We choose the steak, which was delicious. The continental breakfast in the morning was really tasty too, with so much choice; multiple different juices, cereals, meat and cheese, delicious bowls of overnight oats/porridge, pastries, toast and so on. The late checkout time of 11am was brilliant as well, it made for a really relaxing and unpressured morning, and the shower was amazing, one of the best I have ever had. We will definitely visit again!

A small fridge would have been handy, and there was lots of space in the room for one. Perhaps something they could think about for the future.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, booking us into the restaurant and inviting us to use the pool and spa. Dinner was fabulous, absolutely delicious. We loved our room too, spacious, with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in and definitely the best shower I have ever had! Possibly slightly quirky feedback, but I also thought the bathroom layout was quite elegant, with a great little alcove beside the shower for clothing, washbags etc. Loved the choice of coffees for breakfast as well, sometimes it's the little touches that make all the difference. Unfortunately we didn't get around to using the pool or spa, but being invited to stay and make use of it after checking out in the morning was very generous, we hope to get an opportunity to go back soon.

+ pool side facilities : sauna, steam, Jacuzzi pool, ice bath + Delicious breakfast, fresh patisseries, could do more fruit salad as ot run out at some point + Clean and spacious rooms. Everything felt new + Big parking +Friendly and helpful staff + quite during the night and also daytime

- it nowhere stated that " included breakfast" is Continental and hot one would be £5 extra pp. Which is not a big deal, but would be nice to know before the booking, not after (when receiving confirmation email) It just felt a bit cheeky, especially that we stayed here before and it wasn't the deal back then. BTW upgrade to the hot option is a great idea, it just needs to be mentioned

We found our whole stay very pleasurable and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were all extremely professional and friendly. Food was delicious and as a coeliac disease sufferer, I felt very comfortable knowing the staff were aware of my allergy from my booking information and mentioned it to me before I needed to say anything. There was also an excellent selection at breakfast for me and cross contamination had obviously been taken into consideration.

Only.a couple of tiny things - possibly better signage on the outdoor hot tub and indoor whirl.pool ie. How to get the jets working!! Also there was no cups to use at the water machine in the pool/ spa area. We didn't realise we would need to take our own water bottles in to fill, until we were in there.

Room waa very spacious, beds were comfy but i bit too small, could definietly have two doubles in the twin room, there was so much space. Linen was nice, tv channel options were great, films etc. shower room was modern and clean, shower wasnt very powerful. Water station by the lift ia really handy. Spa was nice, outdoor hot tub was great

Shower could be more powerful, twin beds could 100% be double beds and fridge in the room would be nice for the water we had to keep cold. No beds round the pool but can see works are being done to extend it.

Breakfast was amazing even for me as a gluten free, staff were very aware of my needs from booking in onwards and I felt safe with them. Staff thought the whole stay were polite, informative and generally a pleasure. only a quick overnight stay for an awards ceremony, so did not get the use the Spa Gutted! peaceful area, and nice view over the golf course

Only did not rate full because of the building works, we were aware of them, but clearly they will still effect your stay and perspective, but once they are done excited to come back.
