The staff, Shannon, Oscar, Tracey, and one of the owners Father's (who served breakfast), were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The pub looks fairly ordinary from the front, but from the excellent car park, it is clear to see how much thought and effort has gone in to designing a very comfortable and relaxing venue to stay. The food in the evening is very very good, with a choice of reasonably priced items, all well prepared and presented. The beer choices are good, and the whole atmosphere is very pleasant. Breakfast was an amusing occasion, with a somewhat limited choice of items, good humour, and service. I would have liked boiled eggs though!

The room, in a separate building was very comfortable and warm, although it was admitted that the shower cubicle needs renewing. Also as I wet shave, I found the lack of light when trying to look in the mirror, rather a problem. Overall nothing really serious.

We stayed here in December. Friendly welcome at check in. All staff are nice. We stayed in room 6 again as this has a wet room instead of a cubicle shower. We have stayed in other rooms and they are all lovely and cleaned to a high standard and very modern. I like the rooms because I'm in control of the wall heating in the room so I'm never cold. Breakfast is amazing with a very good standard of food. We get a nice morning welcome from the guy who cooks it for us and he always finds time for a quick chat with us. We are looking forward to our next visit soon.

We were welcomed very friendly. There is a pretty internal garden with nice flowers for the accommodation guests, where we could sit and also safely store our bikes. Very nice and quiet place in a lovely small village. Good restaurant with nice food.

In a lovely village location with local Co Op shop near by good bar and facilities separate restaurant if you wished to eat separate from the bar area the food was good and not overly expensive breakfast was delicious also the rooms had a private garden where you could sit outside if you so disired

In one of our rooms the shower was a little bit small but that is picking hairs really as the rooms were great

Very comfortable beds and quality bedding - lovely clean bright room and good facilities. Couldn’t have asked for more. High standard of room for price.

Just a small point but shower head needed a clean to work better and chrome work in bathroom needed a clean from previous water marks but only a minor point as room was very clean and fresh.

Everything about our stay at The Bull Inn was perfect: the location, the staff, the facilities, delicious breakfast & the beautiful rooms & decor! The beautiful grounds & courtyard garden, right outside our rooms, was an unexpected bonus, too. Darren, David & Nora, the dog, made us feel so very welcome & at home. We truly cannot fault anything about it. (We only wish we'd been staying longer than 1 night!) We would definitely recommend this gorgeous B&B - we'll definitely be back!!

There's nothing to dislike at all!

Everything, there are 7 rooms at the bull Inn, my room was one of the chalet style outbuildings at the back of the pub, in the grounds. Truly a wonderful place! Clean, spacious, quiet, very very comfortable with great facilities (including a WiFi connected smart tv). Free WiFi, electric shower (instant hot water), just perfect. A bit dark due to small windows but that didn't bother me, and shouldn't be an issue for anyone else as the lighting there was excellent. I've stayed at many places for gigs, but this was by far and away the best! I will be using the Bull Inn as my bench mark from now on. 15 minutes drive from Stowmarket, 5 minutes from Bury St Edmunds, 30 minutes from Ipswich. Fabulous location. Much easier to base here. My friends stayed at the Stowmarket travelodge which was 9 minutes away from me. They still had to drive 12 minutes into Stowmarket but there stay was mire expensive and less comfortable, situated by a main road and a derelict little chef! I was based in the wonderful little village of Woolpit. An absolute joy, definitely returning ti the bull Inn!

Nothing, but, for me, to have made the stay absolutely perfect, I would have liked there to be a bath, rather than a shower, but that's just a preference!

Very nicely decorated modern room. Good quality bedding, towels etc. Good hot shower. Toiletries included & very well stocked in-room tea tray. Great food we enjoyed both our evening meal & good quality breakfast. Excellent. Very friendly staff, we were made to feel very welcome.

everything was great but just a few small things missed by cleaner and slightly soft mattress / pillows

Nice pub to stay with the family. Very busy on a Saturday night and we add great dinner Didn't have time for breakfast in the morning as we had to leave early, but we got offered some nice sandwiches for the road. Nice touch!
