We were pleased with the room. It was clean, attractive and had all the mod cons one can fit in a small room. What an expense it must be to keep rooms up to a new and modern standard. The bed was comfortable and the towels large and fluffy. I especially appreciated the lift and having several herbal tea options. We were greeted by a very capable young woman who went out of her way to be helpful. Staff also didn't complain when we turned up for breakfast at closing. The park side is extra nice as it looks out over a historic common and there was always a mostly pleasant level of activity going on there. The location is also nice for the number of eateries and independent shops nearby. I am sure you could catch a bus to wherever you wanted to go in the city.

The price was high. We usually have the same level of comfort at a popular hotel chain for half the price. The parking was a long walk away. No freezer in the fridge. No ice available at the hotel.

The location was perfect. Close to the city centre and surrounded by restaurants, the park and everything you need to have a wonderful stay in Cambridge. At the Hotel, I was upgraded to a very nice room. Everything was super clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. What I loved the most about my stay here was the very friendly yet professional staff. Merita at reception specifically went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. True guest experience / customer service orientated person. Very kind and bubbly too. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. Overall it was a great stay and I would come back.

Good communication with the property before the arrival. Relatively easy self check-in. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Superb breakfasts with a variety of products (e.g. fresh fruits, yoghurt), in fact much better than what you normally expect from a 'continental breakfast'. Spacious, clean room facing the park - it brings some yelling on Friday night, but otherwise was very quiet. Well equipped kitchenette. Highly convenient location: close to the old centre of Cambridge, but not far the railway station.

The room while big was not particularly ergonomic, e.g. (1) there are no wardrobe or shelves whatsoever (except the kitchenette ones), so nowhere to put your stuff, plus (2) eight pillows on the bed look nice, but to be able to sleep you need to move them somewhere and ... see (1); eventually they formed a big pile on a single puff available.

Everything that I can remember went very well. I was completely satisfied with my room and the courteous, helpful staff. For me, the kitchenette was a very helpful feature of my room. I often need to be quiet, so sitting in a noisy restaurant -- especially by myself -- is often very stressful. The kitchenette had a fridge that allowed me to bring food to my room, keep it cold and fresh, and eat in the quiet of my room. TFor me, that capability was one of the most important reasons for choosing the Regent.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

This hotel is the best hotel that I’ve stayed in years! We booked the studio loft and the studio was comfortable, lots of space, bright and featured a huge window with a balcony. The kitchenette featured lots of appliances like oven, microwave, and it had everything you need like cutlery and dishes. The wifi was fast. Breakfast was decent. Short walk from city centre. A big park was right behind the hotel. Amazing stay

The bathroom did bot have great ventilation so it would get very hot when we showered. Otherwise no faults for this hotel.

The location is great, rooms nice and spacious. When we arrived, there was a lovely welcome note saying happy anniversary (we had asked for recommendations for where to eat on our anniversary) and Rose petals on the bed.

The bed was infact 2 singles pushed together, so there was a gap in the middle. When we arrived for breakfast at 9:00, most of the pastries had gone. The invoice for rose petals we hadn't asked for (when contacted due to this, the member of staff has said don't worry its there mistake, so fingers crossed is the end and no extra payment is due!?)

The warm welcome, the contenial breakfast, the apartment, and the convenience of the shops restaurants and cafés excellent stay for the coin exchange for concerts... or visiting the colleges

The only things that were an issue were the bed it just needed to be bigger, as it was quite a squeeze for two people and feet hanging over the end of the bed, if you are over 6ft, also if you are a light sleeper and staying in the front of the property you will need ear plugs... as people pasting by, and traffic noise could be an issue for some, I'm not sure if the property 🤔 offers toiletries if you have forgotten anything or ear plugs for those who are in need..but there are shops very close by if you need anything..

Nice spacious room overlooking Parkers Piece. Comfortable with good facilities. As an added bonus we got free parking on the single yellows in Regent Terrace just behind the hotel, since we stayed over a Sunday night into a bank holiday Monday. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was simple but good.

Despite choosing a 'quiet' room at the rear of the hotel, it was quite noisy as there had been a concert during the day and there was a lot of clearing up / pulling down work going on, until about 11pm. But that was in no way the hotel's fault, just our bad luck

The location of this property is perfect - really central, close to all local amenities. I did not want for anything whilst there, all the shops/restaurants I needed were within a 5 min walk. I couldn't have asked for a better location.

On the last morning of my stay there was no hot water. I rang down to the number that was supposed to be used in cases of 'emergency' and no one answered despite me trying several times. I had a meeting at 9am and could not wait. On my way out I spoke to the gentleman about it - he said I should have come down and told the security man, not called the emergency number. He also said 'this isn't a 5 star hotel'. I was upset by this response. However that evening I received an email stating I would receive a full refund for the final night of my stay. I very much appreciated this and felt it was due. Apart from the hot water issue, I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel itself was lovely and such good value for money. As it’s located right by the city centre, it was the perfect place to stay for the weekend. Our room was clean and spacious and the bathroom was very nice I want to mention especially that Sophie on reception made our stay extra special by being so lovely. When asked for recommendations for where to go, she was nice enough to write us a two page list of attractions, restaurants and bars, all of which were amazing. Would recommend to anybody staying in Cambridge, couldn’t have hope for better.
